- Slow and fast boogie and stride piano version of this classic tune.
Recorded at the Triple Door in Seattle in 2015. This is a version of St. Louis Blues that I worked up based on Bob Seeley's amazing version, which in turn was based loosely on Earl Fatha Hines' version. I also perform this song as part of the Boogie Stomp! show with Bob Baldori.
To see Seeley's version and also Boogie Stomp! videos check out our channel / boogster123

I’m 16 years old and your videos absolutely inspired me to play blues and boogie woogie piano, I only wish that one day I will play as good as you. Very well played.
How's your progress?
3:40 You literally killed it . Bravo
I've never seen anyone make love to a piano the way this man did. He played with skill and grace and all the love for the piano you need.
I love the way he gives credit to other performers from whom he learned.
That's how you Boogie ladies and gentlemen
Thank you!
I agree 100 per cent !!
That's some serious talent right there.
Amen to that !!
4 yrs later still com back.. Amazing performance Art!

I felt the song, the same he felt it while playing it... The chills 🤩
I'm 43,and a fairly proficient guitar player. This is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard. Man you are amazing.
Wow! Thank you very much for the compliment Clay.
Holy shit! That was phenomenal! It's sacrilege this video doesn't have at least a hundred times the views it does! Great job!
Thank you!
I love blues, jazz, swing, big band, early 1900s and world war 2 era music especially the piano and vocal performances of that time & style! Cheers to all with great taste who feel the same!
A trick : you can watch movies at kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Daniel Dominick Yea, have been watching on kaldroStream for years myself =)
Simply blown-away by your ridiculously insane talent.
That's very nice of you Juan! Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing this with us, I think you just took a seat at the table with the greatest of the greatest. Feel bad for those 29 dislikers who couldn’t get their speakers working.
Haha, thank you Charlie!
Cried and cried. Thanks. True grace.
Thank you!

Bravo ! Boogie Woogie played musically. There's so much of just thumping being posted as boogie woogie these days, it's so nice to hear it being played as you do. Well done. Cheers.
Well said and well put ! I have a notion to second that emotion ! :-)
Don't insult my boy Dr. K. .
Great energy and huge talent! No force at all, just flowing. You, sir, are already among the greatest. Thanks! Greetings from Serbia.

❤️💚💙💜🧡💛💚❤️
THANK YOU!!!
Very smooth.
Whats not to like.
The complete package.
Congratulations.
Thank you!
Dear Arthur. You are a boogie pianist. No halves or maybes, you either have it or you do not and you have It. Great to listen to a guy that understands his music and plays it sooo right. It is a pleasure listening to you. I can imagine you in Tin Pan Alley with all the musicians trying to sell their songs and playing like you. Nita.😎
Thank you Nita!
Hope things are going well. Love this, you have the "bounce" you can only do it if you understand the music. Even Gershwin had that bounce cross handed even. Great. Nita ✋👏
3:47 looks like the music from the legend of 1900. Sounds so good
Haha, love the playing in that movie. Thanks!
The most incredible piano playing I've ever seen or heard in my life.
I agree, Trent, but I suspect you meant it as a compliment.
Pierre yve plat is better
Ahhhhhhh is very goooood
Arthur is a superb player ...
A lot of practice went into this much fun and joy.
"How long would it take me to learn this song?"
30 years.
I gotta laugh when my piano teacher looks at me like "How could you know be able to this?" without really asking out loud.
He doesn't realize how I have nothing to go on, most of the time. It's all new.
Great share, thanks.
Thats damn good...... fruits of practice and dedication. am inspired
I would be so glad, if you would do a tutorial of this, maybe a simplier version! Absolutelly love it!
