I agree with you that the sharp edge on the handle is a bit too much and pretty much makes a reverse grip, edge in, very uncomfortable and is the only fault I can see for this remarkable knife. The Wharncliffe edge is the perfect deep cut power that excels above other styles and the edge tip geometry aids in huge penetrations.
I'm looking to buy a few swords for practice at home(in the yard), a two handed sword, something like a feder, and a bolognese sword. Could you recommend a place to buy these from in BC (lower mainland)? Thanks!
I got a karambit with a ronin blade from a custom knife maker, it’s awesome. I don’t know if this was a bit naughty of the knife maker or not but I love it.
The Ronin II can be had for $115 USD. There are a few slightly lower prices if you search the internet, but I'd say that any lower prices you tend to loose the difference in site reliability and trustworthiness
@@wheresmydamnedkeys2179 It's a perrenial problem in Europe. US made knives get marked up on import and end up overpriced unlessyou have a friend in US forces over here who is willing to order one for you.
This was a great review ordered two of them 👍
I love the way it's shaped like a Seax knife - albeit a 10cm one; gonna make a present of this to myself for Xmas.
Bought the knife for edc use can’t wait for it to come in the mail
Looks great!
Can you please compare the Ronin 2 to the artisan cutlery sea snake? Thank you

was it tkell knives ?
@@samueljasso3203 no TKells wharncliffe is totally different. This one looks like it was traced from a Spyderco Ronin.
Reminds me of the Yojimbo
That's what it's based on :)
Pronounced like a Y sound instead of a J. Also, no CH sound either, just the C of K sound. Like Michael Yanick.
Semi Tanto point not quite Karambit. Should be enough to get to an artery with reasonable force.
I'd call it wharncliff or maybe reverse tanto.
This type of blade shape is called a wharncliffe.
Это же обойный нож, тот который сапожный!!! В сельмаге у нас по 3.50 продавался. Без ножен правда, но с деревянной рукояткой.
£130 this side of the pond, that's $228 Canadian.
