I feel like this game should’ve been released around this time or about 2 week before Infinity War came out in theaters so it could better promote the movie as well as give more time to the developers to make it less aesthetically ugly.
I'm actually surprised people still play this game. I'm not mad.

I know people love to hate on this game, and I get it, but I love that Max still gives it love, I would love to see season 2 come out at E3, I don't like that the Marvel and Capcom sides are unbalanced. Hopefully the infinity war hype revives interest.
Technically it’s a competent game, it plays smoothly as it should; however the overall presentation & questionable PR choices throughout its run hurt it badly, which is why it’s where it is now among players

Infinity War hype would be the perfect excuse to re-release MVC Origins, you know the downloadable pack of Marvel Super Heroes and the first MVC. Throw in MVC 2 to make it a pack of three games and it would totally sell. Marvel's got their precious movie rights to X-Men and FF back now and you don't even need to HD-ify those games, just put it on the current (and maybe incoming, depending on E3) generation of consoles and Steam.

It's nice to see Max still playing this game. Aside from all of the negatives, the gameplay is pretty fun. Hard for me to ignore the game cause it's so good imo! :D

jgfjgfify I'm not too find of the 3v3 Tag, which is why I prefer Infinte and Marvel 1 over Marvel 2 and U3. I have a lot of trouble getting decent with three characters and trying to do big combos with them.
Thanos is really fun in this game. He's suprisingly tricky for big body character, with counters, teleports, projectiles as well a the usual big body tools like armored moves and a command grab ("Disgusting!", love that). And of course, obscene damage with palm breaker loops to Sovereign Decree combos.
Props to you for still having the guts to upload Marvel. Will always love what you do max!
You look at this version of Thanos and realize just how cliche he is compared to Infinity War Thanos.

If this game was being properly updated and promoted, it would have sold so well especially after the Avengers movie! If they released a batch of DLC characters to go with the movie as well... With new characters like Scarlet Witch, new costumes... Such wasted potential! :((((
exactly what i thought as i left the cinema! I REALLY hope there´s an ultimate version or something in the future; i wouldn't mind the lack of x-men characters and such, if they really used more of the mcu characters. Scarlet Witch would be dope! also, the capcom side has a lot of potential too...
Magical Cinnamon Don't give me that fake sad face. It had a ton of promotion with all those trailers. It had balance updates. And people now deny that either existed. And people are completely biased in most criticisms. For example: the graphics could be better, but people are expecting CoD WW2 type graphics. Just completely unreasonable expectations. They ask for a bigger roster than UMvC3 had, don't apreciate going back to 2v2, don't appreciate new characters, don't appreciate how fast character switching is, call the story terrible even though no other fighting game has anything much better. At least this game has good animations.

Think about it: Jojo's bizarre adventure characters, shaman king, HxH, Boku no Hero Academia, YuGiOh!, Ruroni Kenshin, Hokuto no ken, Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya etc. Versus the Capcom characters we all love.

This game is actually dope. Only thing bad really is the roster and the visuals are ok but the gameplay itself it's pretty solid.

You know, I kind of hate it when people blame DBFZ for this game's unpopularity and for it being "dead". If the game didn't have it's problems from visuals,characters, and it's story then it would still hold its own even with DBFZ.

I want to see something at E3 this year, an apology, and compilation. Make capcom characters free upcoming DLC throw in some stages. Patch for graphics and some X-Men.... all is forgiven. We live!
You know, it's watching Max play this game that is the sole reason I want to get it. But the game looks boring for single player, the character selection just irritates me because it's UMvC3 to me, and overall those reasons just ruin any and all interest for me.

Now Max, you just have to buy the rights for this specific game from capcom and start a kickstarter to fund a graphic update so that the characters don't look like plastic and players can choose between 2 or 3 characters in a team, like in Skullgirls.
It'll be such a bold and unexpected move that the game will be accepted at E3 next year. Then you add X-Men characters in the roster without Marvel consent. Marvel sues and it backlashes so violently that the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe becomes despised and scorned and collapses and suddenly, we can have good movies in theatres again. :p

Trust Sam No it wont. Nothing can fix the abysmal roster. It probably isnt even Capcoms fault as Marvel fucking refuses to license out certain characters. I own this game but after FighterZ launched, have not touched Infinite since...no one plays this game. No X-Men, no Vergil...plasticy look of the characters...pretty fundemental issues. Id love to be wrong and a Ultimate version is released but I doubt it.

I think the only chance this game has is if a season 2 of dlc comes out with a massive patch, and a graphics update, this game could make a comeback, they’ve gotta throw in Wolverine and Magneto in, and that is possible now because of the Fox deal.

My favorite MvC game is UMvC3 or MvC1, I still have a hard time choosing since I love MvC1's spritework, but UMvC3 has a roster I prefer and is the most fun I've ever had with the series. My favorite probably would have been MvC2 if Abyss didn't suck and the AI didn't block everytime you fought it on arcade lol.
Still holding onto the hope of a "Ultimate" version with update UI, improved character models, better returning characters and more new characters and maybe some better single player stuff, just look at Mortal Kombat/Injustice and do that, easy money.

This is a comment I left on your Marvel Super Heroes video a few days ago.) ...People can say what they want, but I like Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, and I really hope Capcom gives the game another chance. For me, gameplay wise... I like it better than Dragon Ball FighterZ. And now that Marvel has the movie rights to the X-Men, FF, Deadpool, and others, they can remake the game like they did with SF5 and put the characters in that everyone wanted from the start. They can even make a 100% Marvel vs Capcom collection this time. Starting from X-Men Children of the Atom all the way to Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on one disc. There doing it with Street Fighter, so they can do it with Marvel as well. If they do that they will make a lot of people happy. Me being one of them.

The X-Men should have been the highlight of this game. Excluding them was asinine.
I think X's wind-saw projectile failed every time Max tried to use it. Looks like it didn't whiff only once, and the combo still dropped. Even the super version whiffed completely on DHC!
There is no DHC in this game, but yeah that super has very precise timing and the enemy has to be in the right position for it to land

This game should’ve had Scarlet Witch, Vision, & Loki in it. Scarlet Witch because she’s hot, cool asf, & would fit will with this art style IMO, Loki because he should’ve been in the roster since UMVC3 & wields an Infinity Stone, & Vision because the whole INFINITY STONE gimmick would’ve fit well with him because he kinda has the Mind Stone IN HIS HEAD.
SInce loki is the trickster god and can make illusions, imagine if he could transform to other characters and use their moves

Sure , I would love to see Loki or Hela in this game , it would be interesting.
Now , I wouldn't put Scarlet Witch , she would be somewhat similar to Dc Strange. I think it would be better to put Nico Minoru from The Runaways , as she would be an inverted Phoenix Wright.
