The first Joker was so successful because of its punk masculinity, so why would they follow it up with a cringy musical? It's like they are making fun of us.
Idk but I just got home from watching the movie and I think that the acting is still on point compared from the first movie. I think they wanted to do something by putting gaga on there after the success of a star is born, but they're totally different kind of movies... I still think its not as awful as some people is portraying it. Definitely a downgrade in some narrative points but not a completely mess
