However, he was stolen by Dr. Wily who then uses the same schematics of Time Man to reprogram him into combat. With this, Chrono Man possesses the ability to slow or fast forward time (similar to Time Slow); and is able to freeze time using Time Stasis. He set up base on the clock tower where he had trapped all of London in stasis using a time-stopping device he had created. (Boss encounter) Chrono Man: Egads! Shouldn't you be in stasis by now like the rest of them down there? Mega Man: I'm here to destroy the time-stopping device you created. No more time-freezing! Chrono Man: Time flies, young man. Time should be used, not wasted. Now it's time I destroy you! (Battle start) Chrono Man: Time to get to work! (Chrono Man defeated) Chrono Man: My time…is up.
