Glad this popped into my recommendation feed! Even though I don't enough about the game to follow it closely, I'm happy to see that it already has several elements that seem like they work especially well for multiplayer. Focusing on scoring rather than life totals means that the table gets to focus on blocking the leader, rather than having to protect the most vulnerable players, and having three locations to fight over means that you can have a lot more nuanced board states and clashes--totally fine to leave a temporary ally at one location while you swarm other locations. The mana system also seems interesting because it looks like there's a random element to it, but you also wind up discarding mana cards semi-frequently in order to do stuff.
I agree that scoring points at locations was an amazing way to facilitate multiplayer. I also love the unique feeling of recycling the runes as an additional resource. I've posted a second game with much better editing if you haven't seen it already.
Cassidy in 1:46 should have play 3 runes on her first turn instead of normal 2, as she was the last player. So she could actually start of with accelerating Legion Rearguard
More are on the way! I am taking a different approach to edit. So, hopefully the mistakes in this first video will be mitigated. I should have another gameplay video posted today or tomorrow.
Gonna watch this closely, i'm excited for this,.... This is going to be a HUGE thing to ask... But is it possible to add very card image on screen when it's played or something? So we can read it and check the stats and so on. I know, huge task, but that would be great ofr people ivnesting hard time on this. Please and Thanks!
It's something I've considered, and might be able to implement once I am more acquainted with the editing software. As of right now I barely survived editing this video. I do agree it would massively improve the video.
You are correct. After the audio got messed up and I had to do a second voice over I completely forgot to correct it. Let me see about throwing a message on screen when that happens.
Yea, it looks like the points for Jamison got botched when I had to recut for the second voice over. He should have been at 3 already. He had 1 conquer with his merchant, and a hold with his merchant. Then he conquers with the Brazer Buccaneer. This whole video was a shit show, but I will leave it up anyways, and just try to make the next one a massive improvement. Thanks for pointing this stuff out!

From my understanding you can only mulligan a max of 2 cards. I think, so that voli shouldn't have been able to mulligan 3

Glorious swarm... I mean, Evolution! :D
Also what's the deal with the points in the bottom left? He has 2 and then has 6? Shouldn't he have 5 since he can only gain a max of 3 per turn?

I mean why do you make a tgc if the cards are just the game splash arts??? Those cards are worse than the ugliest pokemom cards..
Just like any other TCG, the first edition/beta batch is the ugliest/lower quality, and the cards get better as the TCG matures.
looks like mtg commander im hyped to play this
