Just happened today. Husband came home, tells me, had a group from work go to lunch. He's sitting there, eating, minding his business, listening to all the "noise" at table. They start discussing generations 😂. Young guy turns to him & ask "your the only one we don't really know your age, so what generation are you?" Hubby "gen x". Young guy, "wait, who's that, i don't know about them". Hubby" good exactly how we like it" goes back to eating. Young guy can't let it go. Keeps asking questions. Hubby "look kid, gen x are the forgotten, latch-key kids, survivors & we don't GAF" went right back to eating, while the rest of table sat silent dumbfounded. Finally, young guy scratching his head..."that explains a lot"😂
