  • The first time I hoisted my skis to my shoulders and began hiking uphill at a ski resort I seriously regretted my decision. This quick carry would have been ok for a few minutes but my hike ahead would take over 15 and become some of the most uncomfortable of my life.
The Mountain Goat Ski Tote solves this problem with a lightweight solution that fits in your jacket pocket, ready when you need it and out of the way when you don't.
Initially I thought this strap system was too gimmicky, but I quickly changed my mind after trying it for the first time. Consisting of interconnected and color coded webbing and integrated hook and loop closures, the attachment system couldn't be easier. You'll find a version to fit both skis and snowboards and it also works great for kids. No more balancing multiple sets of skis and poles while wading through the snow and ice or trying to board a bus to the ski hill.

Do you still use the tote?

You bet. My younger kids usually do and if I have a longer hike to at the resort I'll usually put it in my pocket to use that day.
