- Just a quick vid showing the prep for the Žan vid using the Red wolf , this is before we pushed it right out . It’s only a quick vid , this is not the next part …don’t worry !
Gotta love these slugs big time . I was just making sure the Red wolf was dialled in and the Eaglevision was seeing the target ok. As said , this is not the next vid but a video showing me setting up . As it happens , the zan slugs were amazing and didn’t need anything , they just worked right off the bat. I keep saying this but these slugs are amazing in my guns , they just work !

What is ?
You could spend two years testing and trying everything twice and somehow get nowhere, then when you find it, it works every time. My go to are the Griffin 23 or 26 grain dish or cup base. Just lasers, and they work in all my guns and my friends Brococks. If there is ever an air gun movie, you could totally be the heavy, you crack me up.
That’s funny … made me laugh . I agree , I have shot she’s loads of different slugs and the massively odd thing is , one day they group under an inch easily at 100 … the next day it’s like a shotgun ! None of my guns shoot FX Hybrids , that’s of course until the weather is red hot and you leave them out in the sun to bake , once you do that they group really well. I am lucky that my guns love lots of slugs thank goodness, I. can switch between a bunch of them , well saying that , I mean good slugs , not the rubbish but I guess that’s the same for most. My Red Wolf really dislikes super heavy 22 slugs big time , odd thing is , it loved them at first ?
@@TripleGRogerLait lol, that's exactly what I'm talking about, you pick the gun up and never know what the hell it's going to do, until I tried the Griffins, every time thank God, day, night, wind, rain, before I found myself blaming things that really made no sense, but I needed an answer. I really think the inconsistencies of the other slugs, for me, was size related. my ART barrel likes .216 and no larger than .217, and only pure lead if it's .217, not the HN mix, they have to be resized smaller very size fussy, it's a polygon thing I think, they are unreasonably size fussy. big box slugs never measure what the tin says they are, and some tins would shoot great and others just horrible, but with that said, even on the best day, they would never hold a candle to the Griffin design, you'd same hole seven in a row and think your gun isn't working. I finally stopped blaming the gun.

What scope do you use roger ? I’m trying to find one for my Fac crown
I think he’s using GPO scopes, German Precision Optics.
If you have a chance, look through a Delta Javelin, absolute beauty of a scope, just my opinion though.
Thanks, It’s difficult as you need parallax adjustment and lots of elevation for airgun shooting. Traditional European scopes made for rifles don’t seem to work with air.

I was using the 4.5-27-50 GPO and the glass is insane. I have swapped that out now for the new Hawke Frontier 34 mm and that also is amazing to be honest . Defo worth a look . The Delta range is also incredible for sure !

I didn’t film that sadly , I turned off the camera and then shot that group. There are far far more groups in the next vid so stay tuned. 👍👍
