Thanks a lot. Your tutorial was very helpful for setting up the app and i was able to turn off the wifi signal on T-mobile gateway. One question i do have is what is Auto Refresh in the setting and should it be enabled. Thanks again for great tutorial.
No I don’t have a video like that but I think any WiFi 6 or 6e system except for Orbi or Dynalink would be fine. I haven’t had any issues using Tp Link or eero. Both had good speeds, good coverage, and easy setup. I run three nodes in my house all connected via a WiFi 6e backhaul. You’d probably be fine with two nodes if you were looking to save costs.
Yep or you can factory reset the modem and it will return to the factory default settings which would turn the WiFi back on and name it whatever it was named out of the box
The only gateway that allows you to turn the WiFi off in the firmware is the Nokia. If you have the Nokia there isn’t any difference other than you don’t have to dig through settings. For the Arcadyan and Sagemcom models you don’t have the ability to disable WiFi in the firmware so it’s either this method or the Nate’s Tater power shell script you can run. In my opinion this is just easier for most people.

Not required to have it on. User preference. You can manually refresh the app with the refresh button on the left hand side.
hello.. great video.. do you have a video which shows the best mesh wifi system to work on TMHI say for a 4 bedroom 3,000 2 story house. thanks

How do I turn the WiFi signals back on? Just toggle them back on using those same buttons in the app?

Thx for the video. What’s the difference in disable the T-Mobile gateway wifi from the 192. … page than the script you did in this video?

Can we get a test on the new router?
I’ve been trying to get it since it was released.
