    The only thing a pedestal washer really offers, is a way to wash a few items that aren't worthy of a larger load, while simultaneouslly washing a load of heavier items in the top washer (such as pants/jeans, etc...). Technically, washing 1 large & 1 mini load of clothes, at the same time, would save some time but only "if" there were also 2 dryers available. The only other place I cold see a pressing need for these, would be in a camper or motorhome, where space is at a premium(?) Other then that, I don't see much need for these, especially given how much they cost =0

    Without the warm water button, is it mean hot water or cold water? What is the best setting for microfiber towels? I know the microfiber towels cannot be washed with hot water.

    Set the child lock by selecting your wash cycle, press the start pause
    button to begin the wash cycle and slide the drawer closed. Once
    closed, hold down the extra rinse button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock.

    • @LGUSA
      @LGUSA  Місяць тому

      Hi, there! The LG SideKick™ Pedestal Washer is designed to be used as a companion to an LG front-load washer, specifically as part of the LG TWINWash™ system. This system allows you to wash two loads simultaneously - one in the main washer and one in the SideKick Pedestal Washer. -Cazz

    Anyone know how much liquid the measuring cup holds? I lost mine and it costs way too much to buy a replacement : ) Is there just the 1 top marking - max 10g - on it? I never understood why it was g (grams?) and not ml.

    • @LGUSA
      @LGUSA  4 місяці тому

      Hi there! Detergent measuring cups typically hold around 1 ounce or 30 milliliters of liquid detergent. Feel free to send us a private message on social media (@LGUSSupport)! We'd be happy to help you get a replacement! ^Chris

    I want to add liquid bleach to my white clothes for the wash cycle. How do I add liquid bleach to the LG SideKick washer?

    • @LGUSA
      @LGUSA  7 місяців тому

      Hi there! Please note do not use liquid chlorine bleach or powdered bleach in the SideKick pedestal washer. Use bleach with the full size washer only and follow the instructions in the owner’s manual for that machine. To disable or enable the fabric softener repeated chime alerts:
      - Turn on the unit.
      - Press and hold the Warm Water and Extra Rinse buttons at the same time for 3 seconds prior to washing your load.
      - The chime alert indicator sound will notify you if it is on or off.

    So I just saw one of these at lowes and was surprised such a thing exists. What is its purpose? I mean, you can't put much more than one outfit (shirt, pants, sox). I mean, why not just set your regular washer to low water level and use it. Very rarely would you not have a couple more items to throw in and make worth doing a small load. I'm being serious- are people really doing these tiny laundry loads?

    • @Psycho-zj3ic
      @Psycho-zj3ic 3 роки тому +1

      Its like the add on option bro first you have to buy the main washer for this side kick washer ..... It doesn't come separately... It comes but its of no use..... It should be taken with main washer ao that if your main washer is full you can use this side kick washer for 5-6 clothes may be.

    • @thecityman1910
      @thecityman1910 3 роки тому +1

      @@Psycho-zj3ic Thanks for answer but I respectively am still not convinced. It the first load is full it seems like it wouldn't be hard to just wait and do a small load after. I guess its possible if you only have 5-6 items like you said then it wouldn't be worth setting water on low and doing a small load, but I can't imagine ever not being able to throw in a few towels or SOMETHING else in the house that could finish out a small load. Even if you waste some space and do an incomplete small load, you'd have to do that hundreds of times to cover the cost of buying this tiny little secondary washer. And just so you know, the ones I saw were being sold separately, though I understood you were just saying that you feel they should be sold along with a full sized machine.

      Some people have to wash just their work clothes due to request of work place and covid. They have to be washed alone and each shift. That would make it convenient -

      I find this add on really helpful since I can wash one big load and one small load at the same time without the need of having 2 washing machines.

    • @thecityman1910
      @thecityman1910 2 роки тому

      @@Arturo-hc9pl Thanks. Believe it or not, I'm still looking at them and thinking maybe they would be worth while. The ones I see are usually in scratch and dent, so they are very cheap. Maybe I'll consider it!
