the tire chains would do much more good on the tires instead of hanging on the ripper, also a V-plow would do a better job. Let us hear that grader motor and snow moving please. thanks for posting.
What makes these people who put their video's on UA-cam feel compelled to put very BAD music into their video's. The REAL sound present during the making of these video's would be just fine instead of trashy music.
Thanks for the great video! I plow on the side with a loader tractor, but while watching your video I was thinking the whole time how much I would like ride along with a grader.
At 3.29 where he is pushing a lot of snow & a bank is down on his left side , stay all the way to the right, angle the front plow left & as he did at one point just push to the left to gain someplace for the snow to go , making a couple passes to put it all over the bank , since the snow seems to be blowing down the hill , doing the final cleanup on the return trip You can not just push snow strait forward & expect to keep going , angle the front plow left , to clear a path , & use the wing on the right & push some out there , for clearance for the right rear tires , use the side shift on the main blade to add a little width on the left side off the machine to keep your back wheels out of the snow, & go full throttle! , with the tallest gear you can , make that diesel scream & blow black smoke . I used to be wing man on the county back roads snow plow , Ford with a 478 gas single axle poi-track 5 ton , slusher one way plow 12ft I think & 10ft wing , when we came to @n area where the snow drifted in , as we went around the point of the hill the one way slusher would clear the most road as you turned to the right , so I would lift the wing & Bill would crowd right , so we did not clear so much road , putting it all up against the hill , catch it on the return . That particular place the road would actually move sideways about 4ft in the course of the winter , because there was no place for the snow to go on that right hand side .
My family had large Mall snow removal contracts, every since i could reach the pedals i've plowed snow, tractors to bobcats to back hoes to ten wheelers and loaders, all before i was sixteen..I was about this young mans age (6/7) when it all started for me..
Nice job in the snow it's obvious you are experienced and don't listen to all the armchair grader operators on techniques. I read your comments and they always surface with what they think might be a better way. Until they are in your seat and under your conditions and environment, they should shut up and learn.
Great video, thanks. But hafta say, my JD grader doesn't do well in bare tires when pushing big drifts. Even with your AWD machine, I'd listen to the old Continental Airlines motto- "If you got it, flaunt it", meaning those tire chains wasting away hanging on the back ripper... Now that would make a great video, no backing up required with snow pushing over into the windshield.
I would have liked the Champion I used to be a 6x6 , but I did not have to do the whole road , just high bank & bust out turn arounds. Those chains hanging on the back would have been better mounted on a pair of the tandems and the front wheels
Enjoyed the video. The music didn't bother me because I wasn't watching it for the music. When I want good music, I almost never go to "motor graders plowing snow." UA-cam probably has better sources than equipment videos...probably.
Simon Richard , you don't angle the front tires , you tilt the front wheels that way they ride up onto the edges , gives a smaller surface, which cuts in more , & slightly lift front plow giving more weight to help effect the turn
The sound of the machine is always better than the new wave, disco, techno, whatever music. Just mute the sound and make your own engine sounds and its a great video.

"My Dad's a doctor"; "My dad's a lawyer"; My dad's a fireman".........."My dad drives a grader". All the other kids, " Wow! That's cool!!"
Needs a v plow or take it down in layers, I do it every winter when it’s that deep layer it down, also grader needs chains
Grader had chains, conveniently located on the hangers at the back of the grader. Got chains? Put them on.
@@brandonlindstrom975 I agree 100%. They would save on the tires and no beating on the machine.
Needs a Walter Snow Fighter ((-:
To dam lazy to hang iron, would fight and abuse that machine your fired !!! Get out of my patrol !
I liked the soundtrack. The boys will never forget that day.
Me too that soundtrack was awesome!
Cool music. Thanks for the video. Just ignore all the keyboard operators.

Turn the volume down and play your own sound track, it's pretty easy to do although it does mean some effort.
You missed the point. Lets hear that grader's engine working and the sound of snow remove. @@TheHighKirk
You are so right. Luckily I'm at work atm so I muted the sound. And seems like I would have muted it anyway. :-)
Just the actual sounds of the plows would be great.
@@danr1920 Could not agree more.No need for the music
And in the end.......we all knew the little boy was driving.............
Thanks for the great video! I plow on the side with a loader tractor, but while watching your video I was thinking the whole time how much I would like ride along with a grader.
I can see that your little one is going to be an operator someday.
good vid but still thumbs down for the lame music
Lame? I got naked and danced my ass off to this😀
Unfortunately I can only give 1 thumbs down...

Супер позитивный ролик! Очень жаль, что можно поставить только один лайк!
memorable for this kid!
wow horrible music
deerkiller6666 I'm not going to watch it.40
Great shots of the grader working and the little fellow seemed really excited to have gone along on the ride too.
great video
would tire chains not helpful for this amount of snow?
ran a 570 with one way plow on front then a 770 jd for few years liked both would love to have time on this for a while!!
My family had large Mall snow removal contracts, every since i could reach the pedals i've plowed snow, tractors to bobcats to back hoes to ten wheelers and loaders, all before i was sixteen..I was about this young mans age (6/7) when it all started for me..
Having an apprentice is one thing but making memories with the Little tikes is completely stellar
Ruined video with blaring music. You may find people who enjoy watching heavy equipment at work would much rather listen to the equipment run.
Love it! now if all the experts would put up videos on how it is done right my day would be made
Looks like it was take your dad to work day... glad the little blade man was there to supervise
😆😅🤣👎👎👎привет и РФ.
Not bad for first day on job.

Watching the grade it was cool but I gave it a thumbs down because that stupid music
Look on the bright side. It could have been rap, or Norwegian Death Metal. It really wasn't that bad.
👍👍👍
Snow chains would be a good idea.
chains
just imagine how much better the machine would have performed chained up??!!!
Да у нас у трактористаф сложная работа но мы её любим
The grader chains work better on the tires...
Great mechanical video of the grader in action. The music.....where on earth do you find this and what does it have to do with CAT graders?
Not a dang thing to do with CAT graders..... it's a John Deere
Great video, thanks.
But hafta say, my JD grader doesn't do well in bare tires when pushing big drifts.

I was kind of thinking the same thing how it would not necessarily be fun having to put them on in deep snow while you're stuck.
Even the big boys need chains - that guy back there must believe in God now!
Great video! Enjoy the music.
Hello. Where and when ? Good video.thanks
Nice Gay music
Класс, да

I would like to see this grader, in the city where the snow is: tightly crumpled by the wheels of passing cars
Love the trucks windshield; you know it’s a county boys!
Where ever this is they did not plan for snow with trees growing along side the road
I never heard a grader engine that sounded like this one. Can the dumb music.
Cool Video but man you need to use the wing once you open the road up. Shelf wing it first the all the way down.
Enjoyed the video. The music didn't bother me because I wasn't watching it for the music. When I want good music, I almost never go to "motor graders plowing snow." UA-cam probably has better sources than equipment videos...probably.
SUPER MUSIQUE
SUPER!
Music.... I give up !!!
Should have chains on all 6 tires. Terrible music.
have decided that these people never get a lot of snow or they get paid by the hour and don't care....can do more with a vplow then a one way
The best part is the passenger. Teach em young.
Chains
looks like fun
I did the same thing with my dad 50 years ago. You couldn't pull me out of the cab.
At least the chains hanging on back are safe😊
Yes a V plow would have been better, like the other video.
I think I would rather hear the machine
Need to use the chains you have hanging on the back daddy-o. clear a path for the machine, then use the wing and scrapper blades to make a wider path.
watchthe1369 chains shake the shit out of the grader more than he is
you have chains, why not use them.?
No chains and 6WD is an epic failure
Big difference when it’s drifted in
Nothing worse than a stuck grader.
Or a crappy operator
With chains hanging on back
Simon Richard , you don't angle the front tires , you tilt the front wheels that way they ride up onto the edges , gives a smaller surface, which cuts in more , & slightly lift front plow giving more weight to help effect the turn

What a workout.Son will remember this a long time, and tell his friends what my dad can do.👍🗣 7:50
One word.... Chains
Bad music
Angle the front tires
I’ve always loved watching heavy machinery, but to be honest…the music is fantabulous!
انا ساءق الة التسوية
Nice heavy grader
Why this music?
V blade and half the HP and weight, if you have access to one.
V for the punch thru.... mold board and wing to finish
Equinox end , I agree , memory for a life time , for the daddy's boy ,make a real man out of him.
I will get to see this for real one day. You must know the road layout to do this work. I love the music. ❄️👍
WOW!
I bet the engine would have sounded better than the music
💪👍🇫🇮🇸🇪🇺🇦❤️😊
Give us the machine sounds not the dumb music
This guy is not a grader operator, he drives one.
Not bad, better use the natural sounds
Smile at end says it all.
Сколько кушает топлива на такой работе?
If your gonna play music, play some Christmas music..........
where is this
why put music to videos?
Nice video, the music / noise should be deleted.
I turned of the volume and you can to.
Music ruined a great video
Wherever you are what a beautiful place! Skills with getting that grader unstuck! Bet that boy had the time of his life!
Despite the shitty music, he made out ok. For a Canadian boy!
How are the grader operator training sessions going.....cuz you need em !!!!!!!!
Don’t think this is his first run fred
agreed with the others... i would much rather listen to the machine working than the overly loud music
Can do with out the music
First time I've seen an articulated grader.
What have you been doing the last 50 years?
Music was horrible. But great content!
Chains on 6 wheels in those conditions sir
And why are we clearing a road in middle of nowhere?
