That blue velvet is gorgeous, Diane. Really cool wrapping paper, AND FREE!😊 I used to have a couple Humpty Dumpty magazines. I need to go on a hunt. Some neat magazines. Your commentary on the hats made me laugh. Loved the bedtime book and the playing cards. Great haul❤
Some people collect just the unusual jokers from old card decks. I have a few and would buy just those if you ever sell them. They’re very cool! ❤ I love the calendars, too. I’ve finally started to use them in projects; no point hanging onto stuff.
Fun haul! My faves were the Smiley Face cards (I collect vintage smiley/happy faces) and the Armstrong Music House paper. Our daughter married an Armstrong and their three daughters play piano which makes their house an Armstrong Music House! 😊
Oh I love to buy a magazine for my retro journal. They are hard to find in Fl. I am in the NC mountains right now going to go antiquing. I did find a 1904 Cosmopolitan! And I found a couple of different vintage Wizard of Oz books to do as well. You really find great stuff.❤
Maybe you could make a game night journal and use the game boxes for ephemera. The blue velvet is beautiful! I remember the metal buttons, very cool. Favorites are the magazines, just don't find any in our area. Also, all the vintage cards are amazing. I love watching your haul videos. Happy Crafting
Magazines !!! I'm absolutely wild about 60's and older ads and fashion! I've been gone a quick minute ... trying to catch up. I wanted "one last puppy" lol. Some days I second guess myself. "Bert" is an adorable brown and white Boston Terrier. I haven't had a puppy since my kids were little. How quickly we forget. It's like having an infant/todder - with teeth. Happy to be back. I"ve missed watching your videos.
The vintage magazines were a steal! We always see National Geographic, Life and Ideals but your selection is great. Looked on eBay and worst case scenario, you should be able to sell them at quite a profit. Great flea market finds! Did your husband flea market with you? My husband drives me but just reads while I’m there. So much fun.
I just tried something you might be interested in. I love Eric Carle. I found one of his books that I didn’t have but someone had written their name on it in permanent marker. I used a little hand sanitizer on a soft microfiber cloth & it came right off! I immediately thought about you. I hope it will help you in the future. Sorry, if you already know about this. I didn’t & was excited to save a beloved book.
Good finds as always Diane! Please save the 1959 catalog page April and May for me if you only can (my birthday May and April is my hubby). Did you have time to watch my flea market haul video (it took me three days to upload)? Hugs!
You found some great stuff again Diane! Love everything. Those old calendars are really neat.
I loved it all! You find the most interesting and vintage items. Hopefully one day I will find vendors that have cool stuff like this.
❤❤❤😊

My favorites are the calendars, playing cards and magazines in that order. Love your flea market haul. Someday I’d love to go shopping with you.
I like the calendars too and the patchwork piece.
I loved the calendars! But everything was great.

Love the old magazines. FYI the Cosmo story illustrator Louise Fitzhugh wrote and illustrated Harriet the Spy.

I'm glad you're back! Enjoy that puppy. My sister just got a puppy, after years without a dog, and it is time consuming!
We loved to play password when I was a kid.
I have the same contact game. I peeled the paper from the cardboard.
Fantastic finds!!!
Thanks, Jovi!

I had never heard of that. I'll try to remember it. Thank you!
