Kelly, thank you for your tutorials, and your love and enthusiasm for beading. But, today, I just want to tell you, I love these red polka dot glasses! Plus your matching lipstick...you just brightened up a drab Monday!! Thank you.
Thank you for your tutorial on loom work. I have been staying away from it because I was too intimidated by it after my stroke. I’m confident I can do it again. 🥰
I just want to thank you. Your video on bead crochet and bead loom had me get it in no time flat. I've been trying both for months and still couldn't get it. Thank you so much. And I love your glasses
Thank you so much Kelly for your videos. I have learned so much from you over the years. I would like to know more about the easel you demonstrated in this video. That would be so helpful to me as looking down bothers my neck. Thank you in advance.♥
Hi, Kelly - If you use a Frixion pen to mark out your rows, when you are done you can iron the paper. It will erase the marks and you will have a brand new pattern for the next time.
You are such a great teacher..I've watched your for some years now..I want to make the weave bracelet but don't know how to measure for wrist to know how many rows of beads to use..Can you help?
Sorry.... LMAO... you held my interest when I noticed you carried out methods I teach, as I shared in Seed Beads and More Loom Event, last November. But let me ask not to suggest anyone use a thread burner, when cutting a weft. The odds of burning/cutting a warp are great. Scissors only 😆 Keeping tension down, if a warp was cut, helps to increase interest in the Bead Loom. Now... to continue watching.
Hi Kelly, Did you know that Meredith Roddy of Beadalon said in a Michael's class that you should take that rod out after you've secured your threads to give them a good tension? I remembered that as you were starting to put beads on your project and thought I would pass that info on to you. Love you and all your work.
HI Regina. Thanks for the tip/suggestion. I'm actually aware of this but to be 100% honest I end up making a bigger mess trying to get the bar out and then have to redo the threads again. I have two of these looms in my personal stash and trying to get the bar out once the string is on there is not an easy task. Meredith and Julianna make it look super easy but I've never had that easy of a time with it. I took a class at Bead and Button in 2019 using this loom. The teacher I had in the class told me the same thing about trying to get the bar out. This is the reason she used the painters tape to hold the tension. For me personally the tape tip works much better for me. Others may be able to get the bar out easily and not make a mess of their threads but I tend to create hot messes so I prefer the tape method :)
Kelly....running warps through rows of woven beads are never a good idea. It bulks out the bead rows, increasing the chance of breaking beads. Doing this causes "Fanning" of the last few rows, making the ladt few rows wider then most of the weave. Also, never make weft turns on the right side of your weave. Those thread turns show up in the weave... neat details are important in finishing. I see you having difficulty running through rows of beads, as you try to finalize the Warps. A HUGE NO NO. There is a technique called W.O.W. or Warp Over Warp, using the Wefts to hide the Warps. There are Five Jewelry Acceptable means of managing Warps. W.O.W. is one of them. I feel so passionate about giving positive vibes, on bead loom weaving, that I felt compelled to offer my experience. ❤️
Thanks Kelly for the very concise tutorial on basic loom work. I have done a lot of loom work in the past and found this video to be a great refresher course and I’m inspired to dig the loom out. I even learned a few new tips, who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks ! ☺️ Love those Terra Cast findings you used to finished off the piece’s. 💞✨🤗✨💞
Love love love your glasses! Sure adds to your UA-cam presence!! Also love your beading tutorials. I’ve followed you for years. Thanks for sharing your time and efforts!!!
Thank you! I have learned the right way to look with your jewel loom! It's so easy with this piece. I am having so much fun. You are so talented. I am so happy I found you!
Hi Kelly, love your positive attitude and your unique style. I've watched and loved all your videos for years. Thank you! Something you might try on your jewel loom next time...after you load your thread on and tie up or tape the ends to the back, try removing the rod down the middle. It helps to tighten everything up and you don't need to tape the back edges to get it tight. Also, you don't have to worry about accidentally feeding your needle under the rod. This works well for me. I think I learned this from a video made by the gal who designed the loom. Again, love you and hope this helps.
Lovely bracelet. I enjoyed your demo, but I’m totally confused about how and why you started in the middle. Is this pattern bundle still available? I don’t have a working printer. Would it be possible to get a preprinted pattern?
You can use it with or without the bar. Most have to take it out for tension but I'm a tight warper so sometimes i take it out and sometimes I don't. Julianna recommends to always take it out. You do what works best for you.
I just found you this evening looking for beaded loom tutorials. I am so impressed with the heart bracelet, and I had to buy it. I was totally thrilled to find out that I didn't just buy one pattern, but a whole pile of them. Thank you so much for being a brilliant youtuber, I will be watching many more. By the way, if I'm not making a lot of sense, I'm English, qnd my name is Lily-Maie.
Hi Kelly. Please give the link to Michael's for that contraction you've showed to help support the loom. I don't see it. My very first time using my bead loom I've had for 5 or more years. Thank you so much for teaching this technique.
Honestly, I might very well be biting off more than I can chew. But I love your work, just ordered your pattern, and I am anxious to get started. My loom is still in the box, but you have really inspired me to try. Thank you very much for your wonderful work and tutorial!
Hi Kelly, I really love your tutorials, your teaching is very easy to follow along with the videos. I would love to purchase one of your patterns " he is risen " I'm somewhat familiar with reading patterns can that loom bracelet be made in a size 8 ?
Beautiful work, really enjoy your tutorials. I would like to know how you finish up once you put the clasp. What kind of string or rope did you put after the clasp? Thanks and keep your beautiful work.

You will need to measure your wrist with a soft ruler then you can use the same measurement for the bracelet length.
❤❤

Yes, I’ve actually taken classes with Jewels/Julianna, the creator of the loom, and she says to take the rod out after you set up your loom.

Me trying over and over.
"Why is it difficult for me to hold them beads under the string"?
I am so awkward. 😂😢

It sure is! Shoot me an email either you contact info and I’ll sent you the info. My email is off_the_beaded_path@yahoo.com
So glad you read what I wrote. Hope it helps 😉
I thought on this particular loom, you had to remove the metal rod after you put on your warp threads for better tension. Am I wrong?
You can use it with or without the bar. Most have to take it out for tension but I'm a tight warper so sometimes i take it out and sometimes I don't. Julianna recommends to always take it out. You do what works best for you.
Hi Kelly! Love loom bracelets!

Hi Kelly, I really love your tutorials, your teaching is very easy to follow along with the videos. I would love to purchase one of your patterns " he is risen " I'm somewhat familiar with reading patterns can that loom bracelet be made in a size 8 ?
It sure can. The only thing is that the bracelet will be about 3-3 1/2 inches wide
Beautiful work, really enjoy your tutorials. I would like to know how you finish up once you put the clasp. What kind of string or rope did you put after the clasp? Thanks and keep your beautiful work.
Hi, this project was a bracelet so no string or rope was needed. I simply added my preferred clasp with a split ring or jump ring.
hello, im a kid from the east asia. i wonder what is the blue thing you put those strings on and start beading? and where can i find it?
The blue thing is the Jewel Loom. I sell them on my website but it can also be found at most craft stores.
❤
Plz share the name of different thread options that we can choose from (for beginners)
Please refer to my April 2nd, 2020 video called Needle & Thread 101 and it will explain the different types of thread.
