You should try "durian kuning", which is yellow durian, it has a much brighter yellow colour, sometimes bright orange and red too. You should try "durian kuning", which is yellow durian, it has a much brighter yellow colour, sometimes bright orange and red too. It does have a smell but not too strong, it is much sweeter and less fizzy (?) then the durian that you usually can find in a supermarket. But this type of durian only grows on Borneo island. So any country in borneo island grows both of these durian.
I think the one thing with this fruit being sold in the US. Its picked green, table ripened instead of tree ripened and then placed in the freezer then shipped and sold to the us markets
"this durian cost 100$"
Me who lives in Malaysia and the durians are 5$ or more than that but it's cheap : 👁️👄👁️ thank God I live in Malaysia-
be wise, harvest it and sell them abroad 😄
Me who lives in the Philippines who can just get this fruit for free: 😎
@@zhen5556 lol we too there are some many trees in front of my house
I think she overpaid a bit for this one... but then again import costs
@@ceecee9911 you need to taste it for yourself XD
Never had durian, but I've listened to Duran Duran, so it's the same.
HELP I WAS JUST LISTENING-
Yeah, Simon la bon, more like Simon la wrong. Am I right?
Pantheon icon and Duran Duran, you are like super cool :D
In an ordinary world durian would make me hungry like the wolf
😅🤣😂
I got a durian at a little Asian market and it only cost about $20. Made me a smoothie and loved it
This straight up bussin, respectfully
the smell of durian doesn’t bother me because I grew up around it in the Philippines but I don’t particularly like the taste of it but i will still eat it if given to me
Yo i didn't know you grew up in the Philippines i always see you in the comment section and i thought you were an American channel or something
I thought you grew up in sandwich land
@@LynchtheFinch if he grew up in sandwich land he wouldn't be lonely
Why didn't you salute me last time???
Dude the durian candies tho, personally I don't like the taste but other people say it's good
5 hearty durians gives you 21 extra temporary hearts. You’re on the right track
Love the Zelda reference 🤣
🐐 comment
😂 not the Zelda reference
Ah nice a fellow LOZ player!
I was thinking that the entire video
I heard their accent and language and immediately recognized they were Vietnamese lol-
Durian: you either love it or hate it haha 😂
Imagine plopping a piece of fruit in your cart and get to the register and it's $100?! 😳
bro i can buy a whole cart of fruits
with 100
The one she bought is probably the “better” ones here in indonesia i can get them for cheap but the more expensive ones taste better
The clerk was like “btw this is $15.99 a pound” as he was scanning stuff and I guess it didn’t really register until I saw the total jump
@@LisaNguyen I can get them for like 15 to 20 bucks. That's insane!
Eh pretty common in vietnam
I was so scared that she will say “the taste and the smell feel like it’s missing some spice” proceeds to put red chilies on top of Durian.
But it's really good though
Malaysians literally do this🤣
@@nurkhairah8172 really?
@@nurkhairah8172 as a Malaysian, I don't even have a clue

I let out a yell when she said the price. 😂 The cheap side of me just won’t go away.

"It turned out to be 100 dollars"
Me with two trees of durian:
.....oh well thats expensive-
sell it, free money
I’ll be your first customer 😁
@@tehbucketmaster shipping tho
@@tehbucketmaster takes at least 10 years for the tree to grow and bear fruit.. Seling for a quick buck isnt worth it
@@whosfnw wth?, 3 dollar are you kidding me, in Indonesia The price Isn't three dollar, I went to the supermarket and saw a durian that cost more than 20 dollars, how and where can you buy a durian for 3 dollar??
Imagine the first person who saw this on a tree and thought "that's what I'll eat today"
Same with a lot of foods - Japanese with sea urchin or puffer fish...
Cheese
Still a wise choice the person made 🤤
How about someone who was desperate 1 day and was starving decided to pick a durian because no other stuff and somehow thought it was delicious despite needing a shower and a toothbrush
Fun fact the tigers eat durian, so it must be like people running at the tiger and stealing the durian.
Love your parents great job on trying new things
I’m rly sensitive towards smells and that’s the only thing idk if I could get passed while eating Durian. I want to try it though, bc there’s people who swear by how great it is, but if it stinks as bad as other folks say-Idk if I could lower my guard to eat it.
I love durian like nothing else. Smells like a gas leak, tastes like heaven.
Gas leak? I've also heard it smells like sweaty feet.
@@gringoamigo8146 well, some people apparently like those too...
