Why would Alakazam use Barrier against a Charizard?! That makes no freaking sense. If he just had used psychic 2 times he would have defeated that Charizard... I don't know what Blue was thinking man...

Lastly, as much as possible never taught your Pokemon a moves that, recharged after your Pokemon attack (e.g., Hyper Beam), that recoil (e.g., Flare Blitz), that needs preparation before it launched your Pokemon's attack (e.g. Solar Beam, Dig, etc.)

Thunder and Blizzard are strong in rain and hail.
Fire Blast is usually only useful if you need the extra power to hit OHKO targets.
