- Krystal has anemia ( cause dizziness, shortness of breath, headaches, feeling tired, feeling weak because she has red blood cells than normal people ) but she's really hardworking , she tries her best and keep smiling even if she couldn't get up after the performance . That was the reason why i love Krystal .

I know how it feels. I have the same illness as them for several years now. I can tell it's awful ! You're suddenly feeling dizzy, then you heart accelerates and then you just faint on the floor, as if your body is leaving you. It doesn't sound like that, but everything is happenning very fast, actually. There is nothing you can do. 😕 All you need is a LOT of sleep.
And i think we all know that all of the idols mostly don't have the time to sleep enough. :( +WafflePeach0

For being someone who faints a lot, I can relate to how she must feel and honestly, if I was on stage, I don't know what I would do. You can feel it coming but it always comes down to "is it really happening?" or "when is it going to happen? In 30 seconds or in 2 minutes?" I always think I can manage but I end up on the floor :p
Eden Zak Same here, being in choir and dance was tough. There were several events where I fainted on stage, Krystal is really strong to be able to manage long enough to get off stage first where there's a less chance of her getting injured.
I am the same , I can clearly know how she feels. it is something you can't manage , you think you can handle it but you end up fainting ,and I can't do anything about it , it's something I was born with it .
It's scary too, like everytime I thought I was fine and could handle it and next thing I know I'm in the choir room with a bunch of people around me

Those idols works all day without eat. Krystal has annemia, she can't stay all day without a meal. In a recent fansign a fan ask her what she eat in breakfast. She said she had no breakfast or any meal that thay. The fansign was 7pm. They work a lot, can't sleep more than 4 hours per day and all this with just one meal in the stomach or even this.
The most painful part isn't when she faints, it's watching her trying her level best to just pull through.
You can seen her taking deep breaths and quivering, just trying to make it. The poor lil thing...
It's terrible they work her so hard even though she's very anemic. She's even more so than Jessica or Yoona (obviously since they still overwork Yoona like crazy) and yet they have her do physically exhausting activities sch as the ice dancing.

From what I've heard, I have no backup sources. Just when people talk about Jessica not dancing full out they compare her to Yoona saying that Yoona is also anemic and dances much harder (I don't know the severity of either though)

But knowing she was anemic whether she worked harder or not I think she was right to do what she did, she took care of her health and that's what extremely important... Even idols need to take care of their bodies even more so especially with all hat work

You shouldn't love her for that you should scold her for it. It's extremely dangerous. If you know you're gonna faint why would you keep standing and dancing? She could risk falling off stage it hitting her head. She could get seriously hurt and it is absolutely not healthy to keep standing/moving if you feel like fainting. I think it's idiotic that she keeps standing, she should absolutely get off stage immediately. Problem is that she's forced to sing by the company so they're literally working her (and most of their employees) to death.
+Emilie F She's not really forced, we all have the choice. She signed a contract et agreed to work like this, I don't think SM will kill her or her family if she get out of stage to faint.
+shitaro matsumoto all idols sign these contracts because they want to follow their dream. That doesn't mean that the things they are put through and the things they endure are ok. There are plenty of musicians in the rest of the world that shows that it is not necessary. It's just because that is how things work in Korea and because fame can come fast that way. So yes she signed a contract but the contract is crap and I still think it's stupid of her to keep dancing. What I mean by her being forced is that SM makes the artists perform even if they are injured or sick, which means they can never really heal. That's why Tao, Kris and Luhan left EXO. They were overworked and they knew that they could probably get a career in China. Krystal was probably not feeling well that day but because of SM she had to perform anyway which is dangerous considering her illness.

For anyone saying she should eat and rest more: it doesn't matter how much you eat or rest, when you feel like fainting, it's still going to happen. Sometimes, you could be having a good day, and then just boom, out of nowhere, you can suddenly don't feel good.

I think this is one of the reasons why SM Entertainment doesn't allow f(x) to have their own concert or to have major events because Krystal and the other members feel exhausted easily.
sx yanglay I wouldn't say the other members get exhausted easily, just Krystal because of her condition. But you're right, this might be a big reason for them having shorter promotions than other groups.
sx yanglay What you say could be true but they also give them (and Krystal in particular) a crapload of schedules to build income. There really isn't much money in selling albums. Touring and concerts is where the money is which is why they really should give them a concert. It'll help them make money faster, please fans and then perhaps they could give them a break to recover their strength instead of constantly making them work hard for peanuts.
Keep in mind that both Krystal and Jessica are anaemic so that is probably why Krystal faints a lot and why Jessica was considered GG's laziest performer, but I think she was taking easy so she didn't end up fainting, but she still did the moves

Real reason is SM hates all their female artists. SNSD only lasted for longer because their success was absurd, but once they started "flopping" they were disposed.

It hurts to see her work herself out. Sometimes I just want her to take a break. Krystal has been my rolemodel for years. Not just for fashion, but her passion and hard work for everything. She ignores all the hates and stay true to herself. I know she has anemia but until the song ends, she tries to control herself and push herself to the limit. Krystal, what can I say...she is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside.

This is probably on of the major reasons why f(x) took 6 years to have their solo concert. SM was probably observing bby Jung's stamina and her limits. If this is why they don't usually hold concerts or events for long periods of time then it's fine with me, as long as the members get their rests especially soojung-ah...

Having anemia sucks ass, and SM continue to overwork their talent regardless of their condition.
Of course it's not entirely their fault, the talent signed up for this.
And yet the blame gets placed entirely on the management for the tightly packed schedules.

I'm anemic. Severely so, but I've never fainted. If I was the agency managing her, I would be ashamed. They need to make sure ALL their artists are eating properly and getting enough sleep, but especially the ones with conditions like this.
As someone who has a heart condition that means I faint fairly frequently, I can't even imagine that happening on stage, it's awful enough at home or on the street but to have it seen by thousands of people must be horrifying. Krystal fighting!

Does SM not have her on iron supplements to stop this from happening? Because I have anemia and I have to take some everyday so that stuff like this isn't a regular thing. They should really pay more attention to Krystal's health instead of keeping her on an insane schedule or else it'll end up even worse for her and them if she needs to take a longer period of time to recover.

omg fam I got anemia too, doesn't help that I'm vegetarian, so I can't do too much....I know that iron supplements make your stomach pretty upset if you don't eat enough, so that could be causing something else as well, or maybe she's on her period at those times, which makes you EVEN more lightheaded. Sucks though, SM is not helping.

As a fellow anemic, I completely understand how she feels. When ever I bend over for too long I get this feeling of fainting. So dancing, would be impossible for me. I'm always proud of Krystal. It's okay to faint because its inevitable.
I also get shortness of breath, I know how suffocating it feels. She must have felt really helpless and scared. She's a tough one to keep trying.

I honestly have so much respect for her, to do what she does while having anemia is hard. I've had anemia since I was 13 and the constant pills you have to take on a daily basis is a burden and sometimes blood transfusion is necessary. I use to faint all the time when I did martial arts, its a serious illness that is scary because you feel fine one minute and then the next minute every starts spinning and you feel your body growing numb.

Anemia is not having enough red blood cells. The description of the video describes it better.
Krystal doesn't eat well when she's on Tour performing and she gets anemic and is susceptible to fainting. I have a picture of Jessica and Krystal when they were losing weight and they both look thinner then Yoona at her thinnest. I love the way Krystal looks now, but she doesn't always eat well when she's modeling or performing.

Based from the video, it shows that Luna was supposed to cover for Amber's parts because Amber had an ankle injury that's why she's not there when they performed it. So the ''playback'' is really needed especially in cases like this when a certain group is not complete. But still, it doesn't matter anymore if they sing it or not bc krystal already fainted fhs. You guys have to understand that this is Krystal's job. So when she has to perform she has to perform. SM can't just remove her unless it's really serious. Lots of people like to blame SM but they are a company and Krystal works for that company and signed a contract. With normal jobs you can't just take time of whenever you want to so why would it be different for this job?

Everybody's bashing SM for "not taking care of their artists" and "giving her an insane schedule" when it's not necessarily their fault. Krystal has to be able to say no and take care of herself. She's the one overworking herself. And before you yell at me I'm not blaming her. It's not her fault she has anemia. What I'm saying is she needs to know her own limits and she can't work too hard. I use to pass out a lot and the feeling is just so fucking terrible. SHe's a real fighter going through all this while knowing she could possibly pass out easily when ever her body wants it too.

This is really scary for me because I'm anemic too. I get episodes like this where my whole body is shaking, I feel incredibly weak, and my stomach is doing some weird things you just can't explain. Usually whenever this happens I crawl to the kitchen to either drink juice, or eat something that has has sugar in it. After lying down for 15-30 minutes my body usually calms down. I've never passed out from this but that's because I don't do anything particularly strenuous like Krystal and Jessica do, and I also am never in a position where I can't get myself some sugar asap. I'm not sure why sugar helps me out, but it does.

i have anemia and ive found over the years that water is the solution. Drink 3 littles of water a day. Sometimes im able to but sometimes i only manage 1 and a half or 2, If i drink less then 1 thats when my animia kicks in. Oh and dont forget to drink your multi vitamin tablets
I think this should be kept up to bring awareness to SM treating its idols more like money making cattle than human beings. Even if she does have anemia, she can't help it and they should work around that.
