Thank you for this video. Recently in a home group we were given this book. I read the first chapter and I KNEW this wasn’t right!
I was told the reason why I struggle in an area is because I need to go to the courts of heaven and shut doors and then would I be free in that area.

I have been involved in several "Courts of Heaven" meetings with a small house church I was going to during COVID. The people are true lovers of Jesus and the Word, but I think it is so easy for us to want to find a formula to fix a problem that isn't going away. This podcast was really helpful to me because it never seemed right in my spirit either.

I think that's the problem. I believe that sometimes God will lead us to pray in a _"creative"_ way, but the problem is when it _"works"_ and you start teaching that others need to also do it that way. Ditto for the leading of the Holy Spirit in certain areas of our lives, then trying to teach that everyone else needs to do the same.

Ah, so good to hear Ken Fish again. He wouldn't know it, but many years ago at the Anaheim Vineyard, something he said almost as an aside in his description of an event changed the whole course of my life. It established my calling.
Oh, he remembers, and they're is a restraining order 😏
I had a ministry pray over me using the Courts of Heaven process and the next day I got the Flu for about 10 days, and my business meeting was cancelled without notice. Even though the ministry was generous, this is no joke. This is a spiritual transaction I won’t be taking part in again. The Bible clearly tells us not to add or remove teachings to the word.
I was seriously concerned about Robert Henderson's book. It did not sit right with my spirit. I reached out to some very knowledgeable people who agreed. I threw the book away. I am at peace with it. Ken Fish has it right!
I had a similar experience as well.
I am so grateful that there are Pentecostal charismatic people out there calling out and warning about dangerous and heretical doctrine of charismatics.

I think that these are some of the best episodes. I am but a child in Christianity and these false doctrines tend to capture new Christians attention. God has really protected me from a lot of dangerous doctrine. I had heard this doctrine and then quickly forgot about it. The Holy Spirit really helps you hold on to the important things and dismiss the false. Let us all stay grounded in Christ and Christ alone. Its not about us, but the One who died to save us from the darkness. We have made the Gospel about us and not the One who saves us. When we truly die to self, we recognize who is the star of this show and it is by no means us. Thank you for calling the crazy stuff! It is beneficial for newly saved people. Dont ever stop calling out the incorrect doctrines. Also, remember where our eyes were focused when we got saved. The Holy Spirit convicted me and showed me who Jesus truly was.
Amen! Such bondage being created in the courts of heaven teaching. I personally felt the weight of this when I was a baby Christian in circles that taught this. Something was very "off putting" to me then. So very grateful to this ministry as I've been listening to much content lately that has been so liberating in the face of that group I attended!

So incredibly helpful. I’m didn’t feel quite right about this teaching and noticed it didn’t quite measure up with scripture, but was definitely still confused and not sure what to think of it.
Very thankful for this podcast as I have had huge questions, and have not been bearing witness to this courts of heaven doctrine.

Well done! I like that it was done with the right attitude. This teaching seems to me to be structured in a way that reminds me of Scientology.
Praying in the natural will always fall short. This is why we must pray in the spirit. The SPIRIT of GOD praying through us. The SPIRIT will pray the WILL of GOD perfectly, legally and righteously. And on top of that, we have CHRIST JESUS as our HIGH PRIEST who interceeds on our behave. Robert Henderson's teaching brings the law of bondage. There is no perfection on our own without CHRIST and the SPIRIT OF GOD.
The entire concept as taught in Courts of Heaven is inspired by an angel of light, where most if not all error comes from. It leads away from the simplicity of Christ.

Gnostisism is always a seduction for the prophetic person. You're really having the expiences, but you don't test it with the word of God. Because of a pridefull heart you believe that it has to be the Holy Spirit. He is giving this secret knowlegde to me because I'm special. Or because I'm a prophet, and other people don't get it because they are not. Please people, guard your heart

The only other person I've heard address these issues is John Crowder. I'm glad Ken is talking about it too. We need a bigger conversation about these issues because there's a lot of confusing waters to navigate through. Especially if you're a young person.

I can relate to this very much. Those who are going through trouble and come across such teaching , because they want to go out of their problems, they pick these ideas and try those teaching to improve their situation. What I understood with these kind of teaching is, they sound so much like hidden treasure people take it hand to hand. But what about the loose of time and emotions ? Satan is really very crafty.

Doesn’t the Bible say the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us because we don’t always know how we should pray? This teaching sounds legalistic to me.
Thank you for this sharing with Ken! Please also research into Ian Clayton, Nancy Cohen, Mike Parsons, Dr. O, Justin P. Abraham… those who speak about no coming anti-christ, no tribulation, but now we are coming to the end of Church Age and the beginning of Kingdom Age, Ascension and Sonships… etc. Their teachings of eschatology really confuse me, I really like to know what other fellow Christians are thinking.
The idea of a tribulation and literal antichrist has only been taught for something over a hundred years or so. Before that, Christians didn't believe in such things. A second coming, yes. A literal seven year Tribulation? No. So when approaching this topic, one must understand that eschatology (end times theology) has been varied and not nailed down (not codified into declarations of absolute truth) simply because prophesy is often symbolic and the future is obscure. The only not obscure part is the second coming.
Having said that, I only recognize one name on your list. Are these professing Christians? Ken himself labels Ian Clayton a false teacher and Gnostic. I have reasons why I agree.
Sounds like we have some theological issues with this book by Robert. I appreciated the charitable manner that you handled this analysis. In fairness to Robert and his book, I'd like to look at some other videos reviewing it and may even read it to get a better understanding. After that, I'll come back to make a more extensive comment. Thanks for addressing this as we certainly don't need more convoluted and Gnostic theologies added to the mix that is out there. Great work! Keep it up!!! There is a big difference between a "legal right" and a "hole in the armor" or vulnerability.
Rapists don't have legal rights to rape women, and burglars don't have legal rights to enter houses.

We have every legal right to stop a rapist or a burglar.
But it's also a good idea to do something about the areas of vulnerability!

My wife is so into this Courts of Heaven stuff hat she basically is trapped in a cult like theology and refuses the listen to sound doctrine. I fear for her salvation. She says she has been told that someone needs to act as a spirit guide for her and take her mystically to heaven so she can plead her case.
After years of following the generational curses cutting off rituals and self deliverance stuff and following people like Kat Kerr and God TV that she is now completely looney tunes and more like a charismatic jihadi.

Lead her to other sources. Don’t tell her you’re trying to lead her away from that though. Just say, “hey I found someone else you might like” and recommend her to people with more sound doctrine. I recommend you send her lectures and books by Tim Mackey and John Walton. They just have a way of making you hunger for more sound doctrine. The Bible project is also good because it is very simple but well explained videos with visually stunning animation. Trust me. Just gently lead her. I hate saying this, but maybe lead her by the hand, rather than smacking her with a stick.
Do not fear for her salvation. She is a child of God. But ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing are leading her astray by false teaching. Pray for the Lord to open her eyes and to seek Him through His Word with the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
I generally like The Remnant Radio, but this time they seemed to completely misunderstand Robert Hendersons book. Their arguments seemed to all focus on their own misinterpretations. So I hope your dislike of the Courts of Heaven isn't based on very poorly studied videos like this.

You mention the leaders and others teaching this but I also noticed these titles on Rabbi Curtis Landry. But also mentions Dutch Sheets when seeking more information on the book. I also agree I feel at the end of the book it just dumps you out there without knowing what else to do. It feels like more "works" to have to do and makes me feel like I am gambling my life if that makes any sense.

I had a friend recommend his books a couple of years ago and i went as far as going on his website and ordered the first book and some videos that went along with the series. However something never set right with me and I never read the book. I've searched for a review of these teachings and couldn't find anything until now.
You should have read the book. This video completely misinterprets Robert Hendersons book. If you don't agree with his books that's fine, but they only argue against your own misinterpretations of his book. Stating his book teaches that God's hands are bound until we release God in the courts of heaven, is one example. You could use the same misguided arguments about prayer in general. In 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul tells us that God has given Christians the ability to quench/restrict what the Holy Spirit does in our lives or in the church. Robert Hendersons book doesn't say anything more controversial than what Paul said in 1 Thessalonians.

First time I heard it I got concerned, then I then looked at the fruit, several people I met that claimed to have read the book or attended some of his meetings. 1) First person said "I've taken 400 warlocks to the courts of heaven", but when pressed on the matter of what happened next was very unclear and convoluted, and the 2nd one, claimed that he had "special knowledge" that the church was not ready for, and based on that removed himself from church and from fellowship. And on that same trip he claimed that some lady spoke at the conference and was surfing around in an aeroplane 35,000 ft up in the air. A lot of of also seems as though it's gnostic teaching (I have special knowledge, which is outside the bible, so therefore I must be more enlightened than you all).
Spiritual things are easy to comprehend when perceived by the spirit. People who tend to want to be too spiritual, leads to a perversion of the spiritual matters. Which makes them strange in the natural.
The court of St. James is at St. James's Palace, not at Buckingham Palace. The queen doesn't live there, she resides at either Windsor Castle or Balmoral in Scotland. The reason God answered Daniel's prayer is because he was greatly beloved by God. Now was he greatly beloved because of his prayer and fasting or was he greatly beloved because he had a heart for God? Likely the praying and fasting originated from a heart solely devoted to and in love with God. Can praying and fasting originate from a religious performance based heart also? I think so.

Thank you. Someone recommended "Courts of Heaven" teaching or method of praying to me. I wanted to know what critics thought of it. I have learnt enough from this presentation to know that "Courts of Heaven" is unbiblical and unsafe. In fact the closing chapter of the bible curses those who add to the bible's teachings or take away from them. I guess because tampering with biblical doctrine is dangerous and can cause a lot of harm.

My family and I have had a lot of experience related to spiritual warfare. We are keenly aware of the counterfeit, and had seen many people saved from it. We have had many experiences related to the courts of heaven. The fruits of theses experiences can be easily seen drawing people to Jesus. How about we let God, through His Word, instruct us and lead us? The problem is people reading too much teaching of other people’s ideas and too little study of the Word.

While I never taught it, never wrote about it, and never practiced it, I did think of something that *SOUNDS* similar. It was basically the idea of writing out a prayer in the form of a _”court motion”._
Not that I thought it was *NECESSARY,* per se, but I had the notion that if I could cite Scriptures in support of my _”motion”,_ maybe that format would *HELP ME* to have more _”faith”_ that God would answer _(in the way I wanted Him to, of course)_ and that might sway the outcome …
It shows you your view of God. You see Him as a judge and legalist and not a loving Father who answers His children. Most Christians struggle with this, myself included, which I suspect is why the courts of heaven thing has so much traction.
The Charismatic movement needs a hard reset in my opinion. I've been around it my whole life and they've always been gullible and unvigilliant in the what they're willing to believe.
I fully agree with their conclusions on this subject. But in the interest of not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, we must remember Prov25:2, in which God tells us he has hidden knowledge in His Word that is there for the kings and priests (us) to search out. I don't know of any preachers who want to come outside their safe box to seek and speak out those gems.

And in this particular episode, which is the only episode I’ve ever ever seen, the two regular hosts continuously state that they are being gracious to who they are actually trying to analyze/challenge, but it comes off as disingenuous.

@theremnantradio, would you describe Jonathan Cahn as a "Gnostic teacher?" I tend to reject his teachings and books out of hand as it seems to me he's just making things up. But, I'm thinking, based on your conversation in this video, that Cahn might be a "Gnostic teacher" who sees "mysteries" in scriptures that one would otherwise not see. Its possible this approach could bring encouragement, but it hardly seems scriptural to me and should be suspect unless it proves itself after the fact. Thoughts?
Jonathan Cahn is a rabbi and he might see things in Scripture we don't see as he is Jewish. His book on the Return of the gods is really excellent and eye opening and very much relevant to deliverance ministry. But I know nothing about his other teachings.

This is not what I got from his books and videos. Granted, I haven't read all of them, but have got the gist. I've studied gnosticism as well. My understanding is that when you are stuck, when something is continually coming against you, ask God if something is holding up the answer. When I did spiritual warfare, addressed some things from my past, especially some things my parents were involved in, I got breakthrough. I wouldn't have gotten the knowledge to pray the way I did had I not looked into this courtroom teaching. I didn't sense that I had to do all the things you addressed. Just in prayer, asking God what the hold up was. There are many testimonials of people getting breakthrough from this approach. I think this was misrepresented in this video IMO. The people I know that follow this line of prayer are not gnostics and especiallyare not necromancers. I don't remember any of this focus on secret stuff. Maybe he's changed. Maybe it has developed further. But years ago, just the basic thought of asking God what is holding up an answer was the main point I was seeing in his teachings. Based on several passages like Daniel not getting an answer right away. I haven't read or heard the cloud of witnesses part. Must be a newer teaching. I am grateful that you guys do discuss things like this but wish someone was here to post the other side and bring more clarity.
These are all my thoughts exactly! I just started studying the courts of heaven, and have found Henderson‘s interpretations to be quite biblical. I mean, ultimately God is just, and always acts in ultimate justice! I mean, salvation was a legal transaction!
Robert Henderson is a very nice man, but, he came out of the "Toronto Blessing". He started in error, so it makes sense he has error. I don't follow the teaching, I read the book and threw it away. In 47 years, God has answered my prayers without going to "the courts of heaven!"

I read the book Healing in the Courts of Heaven. I found it really complicated to even understand how to receive healing. You would need a Seer to tell you what is preventing your healing and plead your case as to why you deserve healing. He believes that Job is the perfect example as to why we're allowed to cursed with sickness with the approval of God. It was pretty depressing to think that the devil could lie to God and God would believe it and then allow us to get sick because of a lie that the Devil told. I hope I'm remembering it correctly and not misquoting his premise.

HE IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA THE INFINITE ONE I don’t know of I would go as far as calling the teaching heresy. For him it’s only used when healing hasn’t come. I will say that he is one of the Few teachers that give a reason as to why someone isn’t getting healed. That’s why I read the book. Most teachers will just say we have to be okay with the mister as to why we’re not healed. Again for him it’s just a last resort when praying for healing.

We didn’t call him a heretic. We did say he flirts with heresy. And we are not making up a category of heresy on our own. the early church called gnostic teachings heresy, we are only agreeing with defined categories that are 1500+ years old.
And we never said that Anderson was a gnostic because he does not hold most gnostic teachers. For example he would deny the playroma or Marcianism and other essential teachings be considered Gnostic by the most thorough of deffinitions, witch i would call a heretical standard.

I don't in any sense or regard follow the court of heaven prayer mindset but when listening to the portion 16:14 to about 17:35, I was thinking of how it might be connected to how some believe we are saved being, "free will choice of faith for salvation". This being similar because us choosing him is kind of like us allowing him to save us, in a way.
And I can see some might associate God saving someone against their will as being unjust, and equating this to mean God "can't" do this because of his self holding just character, he is bound by upholding his own just and perfect nature in the way he can't commit sin because it is opposite from who he IS. (though this isn't sound because saving someone who doesn't want to be saved isn't necessarily unjust?) But just how it might apply to God's nature of upholding perfect justice and them misinterpreting/exploiting what exactly that could mean in how heaven works..
This just to say, I can see how this teaching can understandably convince people. But at the root of it, the bible seems to more so disprove it than ever supporting.
There is a heavenly court where God determines decrees, but I agree that the nature of this is not like our courtroom. God decides everything and if there are rules to how he decides them- the bible doesn't tell us them therefore it is up to God and does NOT concern us. For we don't need anymore than what he has reviewed to us because the bible is profitable for teaching and instruction into ALL godliness. It's God breathed.

The Pharisees were lawyers, the Sanhedrin was a religious and legal body. Aaron's 2 sons did not follow the safety protocol the first time they went in and got burned up to a crisp, Buzzi reached out and touched the Ark and got fried as well. I don’t think I’m gnostic I try to only draw conclusions only from what I can clearly depict from scripture.
I don’t think Paul’s background with the Parasitical law is why he did not consider it permit-able for him to explain what he heard/saw, it seemed clear that he was just revealed things that were too great for us.
I don’t see how the nature of us having electrical make up would have anything to do anything, (though it is potentially cool concept) especially doesn’t help to disprove the courts of heaven teachings.
If anything the electricity stuff sounds closer to gnosticism than providing clarity, as sure there is some hints to it biblically maybe, but its not revealed from God as being any concern of ours the electric nature of our bodies.. especially not if we start making conclusions from that.
Totally agree we were given laws and decrees, often times for our own good and safety. Also totally agree that God is outside of his own creation, and he does not HAVE to consider or try to abide by any law.

The Sheriff is the enforcer in the courtroom, and he carries out the judgements and he arrests those in violation, when he receives a judgement. Your prayers or petitions get arrested or blocked for outstanding judgements or warrants against you, or me. You can have your prayers blocked for unforgiveness or for being in turmoil with your wife. It's not hidden it's clearly stated, and there are many examples given, but if you don't see it that's fine with me. I learned a long time ago not to waste time trying to persuade anybody of anything. I have experienced many things with the Most High God and His only Twice Begotten Son. It doesn't say, His Only Son, it says His only Begotten Son, He is the creator of many Sons and Daughters, but only One was Begotten and then Begotten again. His Will is always Good to Us and for Us, He Loves none of us more than the others but His Intimacy with Us does vary, based on how hard we pursue Him on His Terms. The more intimate we are with Him, more of Himself He will reveal to us, as we mature and show that we can be trusted with the responsibility that goes with whatever He trusts us with. He obviously could trust Paul. Jesus wanted to share a lot more with the disciples but He said that they weren't able to bear it yet, so He did not reveal it yet. Gnosticism is not hidden knowledge. There are many things in scripture that we miss. How many times have you heard people talk about the 144,000 Jews that serve the Lord in the end times, its spoken of in Revelation 7, well it's not 144,000 Jews. It's 144,000 Israelites. There's only 12,000 from the tribe of Judah, the tribes of Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulon, Joseph and Benjamin also have 12,000 each. NOT 144,000 JEWS. My point is that in our haste we make and assume a lot of incorrect "truth". The truth shall set you free. It doesn't say that. It says You shall know the truth , and the truth that you know shall set you free. What is implied is that You have to be a doer of the truth and not a hearer only.

I read the series of the Courts of Heaven, they plan on writing more to the series. I found them to be upsetting, grieving, allarming, corrupt, still 1 John 4 the spirit of truth with the spirit of error. There needs to be going through this series with a fine tooth comb, so nothing is missed, to say exactly what it is. When you pass it off as gnostic its too broad, its more to it than that. In the series, he reveals his plans, and where he believes God is leading the church. Its those plans that are allarming. Also when people read books like these that are questionable, upsetting beyond measure, however there is a correction in there, that makes you also question and come into correction. Its His plan he wants to do that is very, very, very disturbing. It makes me say to the church WAKE UP. It makes me say to the Watchmen, WAKE UP, it makes me say to the men, that are leading in the church and meant to be also protecting the church along with Humanity, WAKE UP. I know what true prayer is, but this is still the issue I had in 2003, is the selfish, self serving, vain prayers, that makes people, focus on themselves, and not care about others. Or they only focus on God and themselves, and everyone else, we don't care about you, we are all for ourselves. When I finish this prayer book, I close this and never want to open it again, and it leaves me absolutely upset, grieved because its soul destroying and devastating, that it makes me weep, where is the love and where is the care for others...where is the love of other members of the body of Christ where is the together. My soul can't stop crying with grief. WAKE UP. And don't just wake up take action, because these plans are world wide domination and take over to rule and take over the word and earth. I love the Courts of heaven and there is nothing you can say against it that will change my mind and heart about it. There are too many scriptures and people who are genuinely being set free. For me it's a lifeline after so many years of bondage as christians.

@@billhildebrand5053 except we are still here on earth, a fallen world, and none of us are sinless. Every single day we must die to ourselves, therefore every single day, we risk being placed back into bondage if we're not always on the best behavior. That is the point of this. Regardless of how righteous you and I try to be, we will still sin over and over again, and every day need to repent and ask for forgiveness. Bondage is placed on us the moment we sin and the moment we struggle with things throughout our days. We open the door for satan to have his way with us. This is why Satan tried to convince Jesus to sin-- to cause Him to fall and have his way with Him.
Yes, the Son sets us free, but when we've repented for all sins. Perpetual sin doesn't set one free and the sins of our fathers can still be upon us. Recognizing what sin does to us and what Jesus needs to do for us every day, is what brings freedom. But it's not, once save always saved. Nope. There are things we don't even know that we've done, and don't know things that our family has done, giving us generational curses. The Bible speaks of this. It's all fine and good to go to church and think that you just say, "father forgive me", and think that fixes things, but it's not the case.
we need to really recognize what is going on, and how to be lifted up and out of these curses and generational diseases, and cycles and know how to not repeat them and allow the holy spirit to guide us. And that comes from daily time with God. But how many of us can do this all day every day? Many of us are trapped in our own bondage of work, commitments, and other worldly things. Bondage is getting into this mindset that as long as you play it safe and keep thing simple, you're safe. But No. Churches that present this type of "safe" ministry, is neither bold or safe. The moment something comes along that rattles the cage, people in these churches don't know what to do.
Many churches today preach love and messages that everyone wants to hear-- love and being set free. How does the church deal with congregations being set free when someone's grown female child is claiming to be a boy, and then tries commiting suicide while transitioning? Or when one may become a heroin addict despite growing up in the church? Or couple cheats on one another, or becomes an atheist?... etc etc etc. These churches don't share a larger picture, nor discuss why these things may happen and how to deal with it by turning to God Himself, as opposed to a licensed psychologist instead.
I read some of this Henderson book, and I'm sorry, but I don't think it is as off the track as everyone is speculating. Every book that's not the Bible, needs to be followed with some discernment, but not every book that's not the Bible should be thought of as demonic trash either.

The court of heaven is closed for those who knows that Resurrection took care of it that’s why God showed John that the accuser (the prosecutor) is cast down. But if a Christian don’t know that, then the devil will still use his authority to kill, still and destroy. Ressurection dismisses our case. Court adjourn. Case closed. Amen, hallelujah to the Lamb and Lion. We are free if we understand Resurrection.
I'm gonna cut to the chase...the teaching you're discussing sounds absolutely nuts. Secret voices? Have to know what your specific plan is...but only by direct revelation? Judged on a book written about your life by God that YOU don't know about but need to beg to know what's in the pages...and more important than scripture? I'm going with doctrine of demons.
