Bhutan has been very successful in keeping monks away from politics. Monastic members are strictly prohibited from interfering politics in the country. Just like Bhutanese, Tibetan lay people do not need monks to tell us how to live our lives. People vote to elect prime minister and MPs. 2) HH the Dalai Lama is not a political head of Tibetan exile government any more. People elect sikyong by majority vote. Religion is a private matter and we do not need to mix politics and religion any more. Time has come to separate religion from politics. His Holiness has proudly left the politics and decided to use his energy to practice Buddhism and spread compassion for a world peace. A true Buddhists do not want to see angry monks like Gowo Lobsang Phendhe and khenpo kada Sonam. Unless you are blind and deaf, it is obvious that some of these monk Chithues bring full of negative air and energy in the parliament . They act like they are on a battle ground.
