I made it through the whole video! I started around 3 weeks ago and have around 15 subs. It gets a bit discouraging at times but we just have to keep going. Thank you for the advice! I'm considering making a similar video once I'm 2 months in 😊🌟 Keep going girl, you'll get there!
Thanks for watching the entire thing😊. 15 subs in 3 weeks is a great start! I totally understand how it can feel discouraging, but you're right, we just have to keep pushing forward. Yeah, make a similar video! I'm glad it inspired you😊 We got this!💕
I love building my channel. I had a very set strategy for 2024 and now I’m exploring analytics for monetizing and what works. More than anything I love what I’m doing!
That's awesome! Yeah, sometimes we need to give the algorithm what it wants to boost our videos, but not all the time, just sometimes lol. Loving what you're doing definitely makes all the hard work worthwhile. Keep it up!
I'm at the beginning of my YT journey, still thinking and planning. I've been watching tons of small channels (til the end!) and learning a lot. Thanks for sharing the inside info. Just commenting to give you a little support! Keep going, and don't forget to enjoy the journey 😊
Thank you for the support, I truly appreciate it! 💕I recommend starting to batch some videos-it really helped me transition from planning to posting. When you batch videos, you’re creating content without the pressure of posting right away, so it doesn’t feel as intimidating, and you learn a lot with each video. For me, once I had 10 videos saved on UA-cam (as a draft) I FINALLY felt confident enough to start posting them, one each week. That really got the ball rolling! Just some advice, but I know your journey might be different, so you don’t have to listen to me, lol. Thanks again for the support and wishing you the best of luck on your channel!💕
the most challenging part of content creation is seeing little to no growth in my subscriber count, despite all the effort and time I put into creating and sharing my content. It can be discouraging when progress feels slow, but I know persistence is key
I started my channel two years ago and still have a long ways to go for watch hours. Doing shorts got me subscribers (I am over 2,000) but that did not translate into views for my long form. I am working now on long form posting more regularly, thanks for sharing your journey as I can relate to alot of the struggles.
Good for you and congratulations. I just started my channel and it's hard to be patient waiting for subscribers and views. I thank you for the good info.
Thank you so much! 😊 I totally understand-building a channel takes time and patience. Keep going, and the results will come. I’m glad the info was helpful! Wishing you all the best on your journey!
Still watched till the end. Always here to support small channels. You're doing great. I want to start a fresh new channel and keep watching/researching every small channels progress. Here's to a great new and successful year for you.
Aww, thanks for the kind words! ☺️ If you want to start making videos, you absolutely should! You can create them and save them as drafts on UA-cam if you're nervous about making them public. It’s a great way to learn! Once you feel more confident, you can start releasing them weekly. I batched 10 videos (saved as draft on youtube) before I felt ready to publish and make them public, and a little part of me felt obligated to release them because I wasn’t going to delete all that hard work. Just an idea. Wishing you all the best!!💕
I just found your video and I really like how you explain everything so easily! I'm subscribing to help you on this journey that I believe you will achieve your in 1 year (we all will right?) 💫 and I myself was struggling procrastination so making at least 1 video a week really helps to beat this bad habit.
Still watching 😅 You’re doing great…. The more people stick to a video makes later on contents get recommended the more, it’s my 2nd year on UA-cam, not that full time but am glad with the current results 🎉
Hi! 👋 Still here at the end. I just subscribed to your channel. I’m also a fairly new UA-camr, still trying to get those watch hours. 4,000 still feels so far away! I’ll go watch a few of your other videos. It’s nice to hear from others who are in the same boat.
Hey, we got started! That was hard enough, lol. It's awesome that you're enjoying the journey!💕 I remind myself all the time to enjoy the process and the learning along the way.
I'm only on week 2 of posting so only 1 long form video so far and it's amazing what you can learn in 1 week that's just available on UA-cam, this video being one of them. Thanks for sharing, and best of luck to all of us on this journey so far!
You’re right-there’s so much knowledge available on UA-cam, and I’m glad you’re taking advantage of it! Thanks for including me in that group☺️ I wish you all the best on your journey! 💕
I loved your 5a.m. routine video. 💫 And yes, the "2 months in" video, since you asked for people to subscribe, that was when I subscribed!😉 As ridiculous as it may seem, I think we as viewers forget to subscribe because we are SO into focusing on what is being said or shown. 😅 And yes, watching till the end! 💫💜
Yes, you're right-I guess I forget to subscribe sometimes too. I figure if I watch a video long enough, the algorithm will show me the UA-camr's next video anyway. I guess that's my mentality sometimes lol. Thanks for letting me know you liked the 5 AM video and for watching this entire video! 😊💕
Still here until the end!😂 As a brand new (like less than a month!) creator, so much of what you shared resonates with me! Thank you for this great content😊
Thank you so much for the video. I am currently procrastinating about restarting my channel, under a different name and with a different content approach. I watched the whole thing, and congratulate you for getting to where you and being so authentic. Good luck
Thank you for sharing. I can certainly relate to over editing and to wanting to post 2-3 videos weekly but posting one every 10 days. I’m working on it, as moms it’s not easy.
Good video! I've been posting once a week for the last five months. It does take a good amount of my time. But I enjoy it, specially the learning process. Keep posting, you're doing great!

Thanks for the encouragement 💕and 🎉 Happy early birthday! Turning your channel into a business is such a cool goal. I’m cheering you on to hit that monetization milestone this year!
Yes, I was here for all 9:40 of the video. Editing, you can keep tweaking to get them perfect, but you have to stop somewhere. I have the same problem with digital images, over edit. Thanks for the update.

Great video. I am new also and working to build subscribers but it is a slow process. I really like your sugestion of thanking subscribers rather than begging for new subs. A nicer way to remind new viewers to subscribe. A+
I'm excited for you and hope you do well. I'm in a similar position to you, just a little older. I have subscribed to your channel and will commit to watching all of your videos to the end. One thing you didn't discuss was thumbs up :) vs thumbs down :( - how is that going? I have a thought on your view time. While 4000 hours may see like a daunting milestone for now, I feel if you focus on shorter quality videos packed with solid information, you will get to the 4000 a lot quicker. Watching and wishing you the best!
It’s so great to hear from someone in a similar position! I’ve noticed that likes usually correlate with views-when my video gets more likes, it tends to get more views. I think the more likes I get, the more the algorithm promotes the video, which leads to even more views. The '2months in' video has 288 likes right now and all the other videos have less than 100. when it comes to thumbs down I don't really get that many, thankfully lol! 3 videos of mine have one thumbs down each. Thanks so much for the watch hour advice! I’m focusing on keeping my information concise and solid like you suggested. I often delete parts of my footage because I realize I’m being repetitive or giving too many examples, still working on that tho. I really appreciate you for helping this girl out!💕
I think you are doing perfectly well transferring the knowledge you have but retention is generally always (I think) a problem, people want answers in the first 10 seconds and drop off can be fast, even if the actual video is very good.
Thanks for the support! ☺️ But yeah, you're right. Even with my favorite UA-camrs, I don't watch all of their content. I guess that's why shorts are so popular nowadays.
I am interested. 😊 I’m trying to grow my small channel as well. It’s good to see that someone else is having the same fluctuation. The last few days have been slow, but I’m still so thankful for every person who joins my ‘Jeanie’ community. 😊
Thank you so much for sticking around! 😊 I really appreciate your support. I totally get the grind of building a new account-it’s definitely a journey, but we’ve got this!
LOL. I'm on the same yet a different journey. Subscribers: I was way behind you at about 55 but then had a viral video and in a single day went up to over 400. However, it's been a bit of a curse because now UA-cam thinks I should be doing well and doesn't promote my videos as much. So in the past month I've gained only about 10 subs 😭 So be warned! A viral video when your channel is small is not necessarily a good thing. Watch hours: I'm now at about 2500. My viral video was only 1m 12s long, so although it generated a massive number of hours, it only doubled my watch hours overall. One thing I notice is that the attention span of people seems to be rather short. I think the sweet spot for video length is about 8 to 10 minutes max. (Yes, I'm still here) CTR: I have them mostly between 1.5 and 9%. - just had a look and on the 1st of Jan one video got 37% (that's some kind of weird spike).
Thank you for sharing all this with me; I find it interesting to know what happens on other channels. Yes, I agree about the attention span-mine is becoming really short too. I find myself fast-forwarding through TV shows now, which I never used to do before. Good luck with your channel! 💕
1 year in uploading consistently once per week I have been seeing at least 1 sub per upload but my content is different and I am looking for ways to add more but related content this year
Congrats on hitting your one-year mark and uploading consistently-that's a great achievement!💕 I know, sometimes, we just have to give the algorithm what it wants and create videos we think will get more visibility, but not all the time-just once in a while, lol!
