As with many bargain robot vacuums, the only way to zone it is to put heavy objects and or rolled throw rugs as barriers. This is necessary when mopping as you don't want it to mop the carpets. I do find that the proximity sensors don't detect dark objects so it tends to hit dark furniture at full speed and this model does speed up when it thinks it's in the clear. I think this model spends a lot more time following the edges of rooms and furniture than bouncing across the open. A couple of times, it didn't recharge fully so I've taken to doing a rip-off charge after it has finished charging and often before I use it. It tends to get stuck, literally wedged in under the dining room chairs. As it doesn't have a roller brush, I've relegated it to the hardwood of the sunken family room and got an Eufy for the carpeted living room, dining room and tiled kitchen and hallway. Occasionally, I bring the iLife out of the family room to mop. The spinner brushes tends to tangle up the power cord to the docking station so you have to raise the cable off the floor or place it behind obstructions. Yes, I know I could've just bought a smarter robot vacuum that can be zoned but I really don't see the need for most of the bells and whistles above a base unit and the price really goes up. Note the Eufy picks up way more dirt than the iLife. The mud mats that you put under your boots and shoes are the bane of these bargain robot vacuums but fortunately they can usually struggle off them.
The Machine is dead less than 3 months after purchase from amazon, seller not responding & customer care is not bothered to respond. Avoid this machine unless you want to burn your money.

Nobody in these kinds of reviews talks about the ROTATING and LATERAL WEEL. That information is VERY VERY important!. Nobody else think about that. My house floor is laminated bambu, it is really delicate. I would like to know about the material of the weels, because those could damage my floor scratching it while vacuuming. I wait for information thanks!

Keep in mind that it just shuts off it's vacuum and wanders around till it stumbles into the capture area of the docking station so it leaves a lot of runtime just to find home. I find it really only runs for between 45 minutes to maybe just over an hour before stumbling for home but it does run a few minutes longer than the Eufy 11s. I have had it run for less probably due to an incomplete charge cycle so I've taken to occasionally tapping it's button to restart the charge cycle to top it off. Note, this model isn't real responsive to the remote, a bit frustrating if you're trying to guide it home. It also avoids the docking station capture area when cleaning as if the infrared beacons was a virtual wall, other robot vacs such as the Eufy 11s doesn't do that. I wish they put a holder for the cleaning brush under that pop up lid but I can't complain, most of the robot vacs don't give you a storage spot for the brushes or remote and you also have the mop holder and water tank to store with this one.

Just so you know, there are companies on Facebook using portions of this video to scam people into buying vacuums that they don’t have. They advertised this and sent me some $20 novelty vacuum that takes AA batteries
Possibly nothing but, they did use YOUR video to promote it. What you do with that info is entirely up to you. If you don't care that they stole your footage then you do nothing. If it irritates you that they stole it, then there's steps to take with UA-cam that go against that sort of thing.
I just received it yesterday🌼 and it is running this morning and is doing an amazing job! I love it so far!
