In ODI wc 2023 held in India and pitches were prepared batting friendly where 400 runs were scored , not a single pitch where India played was spin friendly . Stop playing this victim card and being cry babies . We all remember 2008 series and 1990s series where everything used to be in favour of Australia , including umpiring , icc managements , match referees . We all remember Muralidharan incident . India were average in the field as we normally are, Pant also dint have a good day. But that over 12 to 15 spell by Axar and Kuldeep won India the game. But the difference was Rohit. Head was awesome but he made 76 in 43 which is still 15 short of Rohit. Rohit innings was surreal.
And we took every catch that came our way in that passage of play

@@JackBlackSM I m not. India has 3-4 bad fielders (e.g. our quick bowlers). In this game Jadeja and Pant dropped in the last game Virat and Pant and before that someone else. We used to be really bad in 80’s till late 90’s. Now we are decent but not as good as many opponents

Bumrah has been a brilliant bowler in Australia in red ball cricket as well and was part of the team that won the last 2 series wins for India.
We might have lost 2 finals against Australia in recent past but I'm glad we are raised to face defeats and move on unlike these people who start whining and blaming everything after a loss

I think you are right in icc tournaments the record is 20-11 for India, however we have lost the crutial knockouts hence the shortage of championships.

There is nothing wrong with the format. Australia did not play well and they lost. Don't blame on anything else.
Aussies are very professional team and have won many titles, but they are a boring team to watch. I love cricket, and I enjoy the passion of Indians and Afghans and are more watchable. Aussie treats cricket as just a sport and means to make money, but they lack character and charm, and hence, it makes them not very watchable like few other teams..
when you see two drubbings in a row, you cannot pass it along as two bad days in a row. That is mythical fall of a dynasty. Other teams have just gone past Australia in art of playing Cricket. Australia needs to become a learner again. I mean dismantling by hands of Afghanistan, whose annual Cricket budget is 1/100 of Australia, should be a national embarrassment for Australia.

Ageee. Aussies are brilliant. Even their u/19 won the World Cup recently showing there is another generation of talented youngsters in the pipeline. There is JFM, Ellis, Spencer Johnson, Bartlett, Green, Matthew Short already knocking around and players like Head, Zampa, Cummins, Hazlewood, David, Marsh, stoinis who have few years to go. Feel Starc should not play T20, wade/warner to retire.
They're not that invested in results, and that's why they don't feel the same pressure in big games.
