Really a great video! I think you should include this type of instruction once a week. First cover the unique types of races, as you did with this one (Low-Level). By building up a series of these types of videos, this will make a great playlist + a weekly comeback to watch for the younger players like myself. Fully enjoying your channel - keep the videos coming!🙂

@@thinkjon thanks for the input! I’ll consider it heavily but as you can imagine, every race has such a different dynamic with the number of runners, track conditions, style of runners (front, closers, etc)… I mean they say certain races can be run 10x and you get 10 different winners so I’ll have to find an angle that is consistent. Definitely food for thought and I really appreciate the feedback. I’ll see what I can do around those lines. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@mondaymorninghandicapping I don’t think you need to find a consistent type of race to review, just find elements within races that others could have been overlooked in their handicapping. Alongside your review and discussion, THAT’s what could make these sort of videos into an interesting series (playlist).
For example, you mentioned the drop in price when you first noticed it was a red flag to you. It wasn’t until AFTER the race and you took a second look and realized it was a positive factor for the winning horse. That type of detail is what could make the series. This type of knowledge is what young handicappers (like myself) can benefit and grow their skills. Combined with your presentation and experience delivers both education and entertainment. Food for thought - title could be something like... Second Look
Thanks for the channel - good stuff!

@ point taken. I guess with something like that, my first thought would be to cycle through my old forms and look at those lower-level races and get a percentage of the winners that were dropping and how much they were dropping. Going from $50k to $8k might be more of a red-flag than say $12,500 to $8,000 might be more of what the horse needs to win in terms of class relief. Thanks for the input and I’ll definitely put that in the queue. I have no real set schedule with what I put out next (aside from the current playlist “Betting on Horse Racing”)… it just tends to be upcoming races or other angles that occur to me… and what you’ve brought to me attention certainly does. Thank you and stay tuned! Feedback is much appreciated!

@@ArmandoGarcia-pd5bh much appreciate that comment. I’m really trying to target an audience that is new(er) to horse racing and curious about the game. The game needs new fans and I’ve had little success getting my sports-gambling friends to dive in so I figure this channel casts a wider net. Not sure how to market horse racing to newer folks but I figure this is a good way to start. Thanks for watching, please share with anyone that might be interested, and thanks for the feedback. If there’s any other topics you’d like me to try and cover I’d be happy to.
