A few weeks ago, I finally acquired a copy of Muraganda Petroglyphs. I was quite pleased, and I finally rolled my Ruxa brew off the assembly line. Gigantosaurus also made it in, along with Colossus Hammer, Belt of Giant Strength, and Colossification.
I would like to propose "Ruxpin" (as in Teddy Ruxpin) as the official nickname for Ruxa and add it to the ranks of nicknamed cards like Gary, Steve, and Skittles.
O have this commander since Day 1of its release. Its aewsome how such a cheap commander can be so powerfull, so simple, but with so much potential for complex plays.
Another card I really like (that is still under $1) Sandwurm Convergence, get a vanilla token, AND since we likely have a weakness against flying creatures, since flying is an ability, it stops them from attacking us.
I just built this commander like 2 days ago for my kid and he’s excited! Like 90 cards are bulk or basic lands but because those cost me nothing I spent a little extra on other cards like unnatural growth. Not looking forward to him beating me to death while I’m trying to teach him -.-
I'd like to see a pushed Ruxa for nontokens only. Tokens are not that exciting for me as they are already a common archetype but Ruxa really isn't good enough to really push your Swordwise Centaurs enough. I'd like to see the colour pie expanded to Naya too as Selesnya and Gruul both have above rate vanilla creatures and Naya is the shard most associated with the undeveloped wilds.
EARLY AGAIN LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Also, love to see a Ruxa deck. Threw this card in the Exit From Exile precon along with some other cards and sheeeeeeeeesh does it pack a punch.
Here's a few cards to consider: Herd Baloth + Ivy Lane Denizen for a controllable Infinite combo of vanilla tokens that is cheap to get. Gigantosaurus for a hard hitting Vanilla. *Enter Obligatory Blame Eddie Comment*
I'm having trouble understanding the assigning damage as if there were no blockers -- that's not unblockable ot trample -- but instead they recieve damage from blockers but their damage skips the blocker and hits the player?
I'd love to play this, but in my meta it'd never stand a chance... wrath/overload, goodbye... There's just no possible way to play these fun decks around here and I'm quite sad about it ngl... 😢

2:07 First up, as it should be 😊
9:50 jojo reference? And its a super cool video. Thanks for doing this Mitch
the artist who did Ruxia specified that Wizard cut off the sigils the bear was making, which is a copy of the muraganda petroglyphs.
Whaaat, so lame that would have been a cool easteregg
Ruxa is one of my favorite commanders. Been using him since he first showed up.

Bear Force One, Ready For Take Off.

I have had this deck sense the card came out, I love it so much. I named the deck "Vanilla Bear".

I played this commander for a while. It was a good teach people how to play commander deck.
I put roxa in my Titania deck feels good to swing with a horde of elemental tokens
I made a Ruxa deck a while ago and called it "The Bear Necessities". I am currently trying to revamp it by focusing more on green devotion.

Don't forget Scurry Oak! That's the other half to the Squirrel Twin combo deck
I also suggest a card i just added to my ruxa deck: Miming slime. Take your biggest creature, make a copy that is 1 bigger... profit.

Yep that's pretty much it
Does Ruxa work with ETB creature effects? For example Reclamation Sage?
Do really cool flavor texts count as an ability though?🤔
This is my kind of deck
Wouldn’t a green morph tribal work well with Ruxa?
Can you do a Jasmine Boreal of the Seven commander?
Kari Shores
Crist Trail
Can we get a full Ruxa commander deck ? Like not a cheapy 1$ deck tech =[
NHL, I thought the Golden Pig of the deck might be Crytolith Rites(i didn't know it was a $10+ card). It would help this deck a lot though
Wouldn't that give them an ability and shut down the commander?
Fadel Turnpike
Hudson Cliff
Fun
Maudie Tunnel
Penelope Streets
Woo
Alec Spring
Bahringer Drives
Mellie Pass
I'd love to play this, but in my meta it'd never stand a chance... wrath/overload, goodbye... There's just no possible way to play these fun decks around here and I'm quite sad about it ngl... 😢

Anyone building this please splurge for a Gigantosaurus. He needs a rompy stompy home.
The checkout link will lead to a 1077$ cart 🤯 haha tcg having some issues

I love ruxa because no one is interested in taking your vanilla creatures. You have to watch out for enchantments messing with your commander though.
