It's Eastenders, not a Hollywood movie. I wouldn't expect too much from actors who are only making brief appearances.
Especially the mother - she seemed to be in a trance or high.
That woman played an writer who fancied Ken Barlow in coronation street about 22 years ago. She has aged fairly well, as she looks the exact same.

I remember the actress playing Debbie's mum. Her name is Nicola McAuliffe and she previously played a friend of Ken Barlow in Coronation Street. Her character was called Anita Scott and she fancied Ken much to the displeasure of Deirdre. She also played a judge in an episode of My Family where Susan was on trial for stealing a pair of sunglasses 🕶️ which she forgot to pay for due to memory loss caused by the menopause and Ben represented her in court despite not being a lawyer or a barrister.
@tomspence8506 Good memory 👍 I remember her in an ITV comedy years ago called Surgical Spirit, where she played a tyrannical surgeon called Sheila Sabatini.

Unfortunately I don't think I remember the show surgical spirit on ITV as it was probably before my time, but I was wondering what else she has been in. That's the beauty of internet movie database (IMDB) as it allows you to see all the acting credits an actor or actress has had and what they've been in.

Reiss really needs to tell Sonia or just someone in general that he murdered poor Debbie. I feel awful for Debbies poor parents. They dont know why or what happened to Debbie causing her death. If only Reiss would own up. Hes just building up one lie with another. Im also worried for Sonia. She doesnt know shes dating a murder. Hopefully Sonia and Debbies parents will be ok and Reiss better get what he deserves.

@sullysullivan1187 it does in a way given that he given off a strange demeanor since his character was first introduced. He uses his awkward but sweet and innocent act to disarm people. This is how he ended up moving in with Sonia in the first place. In fact I remember a lot of EE viewers commenting about how shifty and weird they found Reiss in the very beginning so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the direction the writers were taking with his character from the get-go.

hell back when he first arrived some fans were claiming he was an Incel even tho he didn't Display any misogynistic behaviours nor was he shown as part of any sort of online cult and he wasn't even single lol.
