I'm Hmong, and I can tell you that there is nothing Hmong about this video other than the Qeej (Lusheng). The food is not Hmong either, I guarantee you that. The staff don't even look Hmong. Honestly, it's probably a non-Hmong business man taking advantage of an opportunity he sees in that area (exploitation and cultural appropriation). Hmong people there are very very poor.
There are all kinds of Hmongs, you are honestly speaking as a Hmong American. These Hmongs are more closely related to their Chinese roots where as we who have lived in Laos and fled to the USA have mostly lost most of our traditions or have copied others, mostly Lao and Thai. You should probably do more deep research on your own people before spouting weird nonsense online.
My uncle-in-law is Hmong. But basically, the original Hmong cuisine is quite simple. In Bac Ha and Lao Cai, Mong people mainly eat ground corn, chicken, and pork prepared simply by boiling. Nowadays, their cooking method is mixed between Vietnamese and Chinese spices.
c'mon the hmongs are so spread out. you just can judge. chinese hmong/miao, vietnamese hmong, laos hmong, usa hmong, etc, they all share similar culture....i think they're all originated in the mountain regions of southeast asia near yunnan china. you ask the fresno, ca hmongs, they'd tell you you are crazy to label them as chinese miao/hmong, vietnamese hmong or laos hmong...we all know the OG hmong is the chinese miao, but they are like dispora all over.
Well after all Vietnamese, Lao and Thai still discriminate our Hmong people and label us as Meo (stray cats) barbarians country bumpkin. Even though we played an important crucial role during the rebellion against the French colonial rule in Indochina southeast Asia and the Vietnam war. We are underrated and underrepresented even though our beautiful medieval villages attracts tourists the most.
Thanks for Showing Hmong Vietnamese beauful Village, love the Fusion Viet and Hmong food.👍🏽
❤❤❤ I promise to come here someday. Perhaps my second trip to Vietnam.
Thanks for making this video ❤
Nice , đang chờ video Tà Năng

Nice video 🎉
Oh yeah. Y’all must come here. There’s a homestay here
Đi quá đi 😋
Anh dừng máy quay gì mà hình đẹp và chất lượng vậy ạ?
Lol. That's not a Hmong village. That's not Hmong food bro. You got scammed. Those are not even Hmong people. Except for the instrument. Disappointed.
👍👍👍👍
Sorry to spoil it to you, but there is nothing Hmong at all in this video other than the instrument.

One secret, it’s probably one of the villages Hmong people are stuck at.. Bc their not speaking Hmong at all 😬
I doubt those people are even Hmong because that definitely isn’t Hmong food.
Người Mông cũng có kinh và người Kinh cũng có mông.
ăn nữa rồi
Chu Nam chuan bi len song nhe
I’m pretty sure us Hmong people know that Hmong people who are in Vietnam were the ones captured after the Vietnam war… so uhhhh 🫢
Like most of the comments below, that's not a Hmong village. Hmong people don't fry rice.
Because Hmong people can't adapt? Not every Hmong are from Laos. Lol we love to eat Papaya salad, so why we can't make fry rice?
If it doesn't smell good don't put in mouth that's what i do or try bit
I am sure Hmong pucci doesn’t taste that bad.
IDK what this is, but I certainly know that it is definitely not hmoob other than the instrument.
Hahaha 😆
