Really? I kind of hated those things. They looked old an tacky. I especially hated it when someone like Natsu used them. His magic looks more natural and flowing when it comes directly from his body, for example his fire dragon roar.
The problem that compares it with the strength of Erza, Natsu and Gray who are practically gods because of how strong they are, it is obvious that Lucy has the worst part, I do not know what Mashima was thinking when creating those power unevennesses in the group principal.

I would have preferred that Lucy have all the Heavenly Keys, instead of sharing them with Yukino, I think Lucy would be able to use them in a better way (although I like Yukino I think she is inferior to Lucy as a celestial magician), my problem is the need of Mashima making her lose always makes her look like the weakest target in the main group, although Gray and Wendy also have losses, we have rarely seen Natsu and Erza lose, which is very repetitive. Her battle with Flare was something that broke me inside, she would have made a great change if Lucy had won that time, she would give the first victory to Fairy Tail but that role returned to Erza again and they gave us a Lucy crying, also their confrontation with Minerva Why is Lucy always the main target? It's like throwing all your growth in the trash, at least I get a little better with the Tartaros Arch.
@@m.o.l.a6812 the problem isn't her powers, the spirti dress was a really strong power up bc as a celestial mage she cant defend her self she counts only on her invocation when she developed that power she can actually fight along side her spirtis, the big problem is the author only making her the weak one who needs rescue all the time, even when she was bad ass af or when she did something really great or showed how strong she was some way or another she end ups in the floor or needing to be rescue, that's the only rol the author gave her. Imagine her summoning 3 golden key spirtis, aquarius, sagitarius and virgo, and using spirit dress, she can adopt sagitaruis form an attack from a far then aquarios to attack mid range and if needed take virgo's form who is a tank and is strong AF to attack melee all of that while ther other 3 spirtis are attacking as well but that never happened the author never allowed her to be strong like erza or mira

Lucy actually defeated mard geer. As Seireou King was used as her "weapon" against the demons. She is able to summon many spirits at once and mastered the s class spell of the ancient heaven magic. She was able to convince Spirit King to let Loki return to the Spirit world and was able ultimately to rewrite the book of E.N.D. Why some people says still she is weak? if she is a summoner, her power is counted on the spirit and attacks they use on the enemy. Summoning Spirit King speaks vollumes about this "weakness"
