I hid THREE Nightmarionne plushies in this video! Be sure to look out for them, and if you see any, drop a comment or let me know on Twitter! Happy hunting!
orange guy is the father of one of the Missing children, In ultimate custom night toy Chica narrates the events as Afton " I will have him by the end of the day, If he doesn't open the door then I will go thru the window, In the end hell be all mine", The footprints outside are not Freddy's nor foxy, they are spring trap's.
I honestly agree green does not always mean Charlie sure it can be used as supporting evidence if there is other solid evidence though and green in general has more so been Elizabeth color since she has green eyes and Charlie has only been associated with green once
Very Nice Video! My biggest problem with color theory is that sometimes its used in a way to keep a theory together in its weaker points. With Security Breach being such a big game we're able to get so much more details in characters then ever before. In more modern FNAF lore if your going to use details make sure you go all the way with them.
Ennard has bule eyes and could have been in circus baby Funtime Freddy has blue eyes and circus baby has blue eyes before she possessed by Elizabeth Afton then green eyes.
As a brilliant mind (myself) once said: "If someone likes Foxy, it doesn't mean anything. If someone bullies his brother with Foxy, that is definitely referencing Fnaf 4." - DTimeTyp after 10 minutes of struggling to make a good sounding quote. Though seriously, stuff only is noteworthy, if it isn't something as basic as the color green. In a specific context it could mean something, but that context has to be meaningful in some shape or form. E.g.: A random headless staffbot is way less important, compared to the one sitting at the staffton table. And green eyes are not specific enough to mean that it is Elizabeth. Otherwise my profile picture would be the next version of Circus Baby, ... which is obviously true. Something about the video though: while I enjoyed the editing (very well done, one of your best vids yet) I didn't like the captions that much. I checked twice if I accidently turned the closed captions of youtube on. You can keep them obviously, but personally I would prefer the video without them. They feel very distracting.
@@Chaotic_Overlord What does that have to do with anything lol, he isn't even, he's talking to him in pre-recorded phone call throughout fnaf 1.. Anything that I've missed?
@@s.k_animations4978 Being entirely honest; I made this comment 10 months ago; It made sense to me back then. Might have to rewatch this video and then get back to you.
@@Chaotic_Overlord Oh, I totally couldn't realize that haha.. 😅 and if rewatching a video from the past just to keep company with a current reply sounds good enough to bother then alright, I'll wait. 😂😄 Edit: P.S you don't have to tho.
@@s.k_animations4978 Not even halfway truh the video (yes, I was actually rewatching it) but I think I remember what I meant; think it was about what the person said about:"Someone liking foxy doesnot mean anything". We know Phone guy likes Foxy, so I attempted to connect him to Foxy bro cause of that fact; even thoug It doesn't make sense. Making fun of these types of theories that the video talks about. While the 'joke' (let's be honest, it's not funny lol) makes sense; it comes so out of left field since it's not really related to anything in the video; and It could have used a bit more explaining.
Although I agree with you on this, I do think the fact that the man at Freddy Junior's in Midnight Motorist is green indicates that it is Henry, Charlie's father.
Thank god someone said this, green doesn't represent charlie but there is other evidence that could imply she's still around. Like all the Nightmarionne plushies and the striped wires around the pizzaplex, and the nightmarionne staff bots too. I think she's definitely around but green does not represent her nor does it alone represent elizabeth, green typically represents the force of good or nature and like you said computer code. But that doesn't imply a specific character, like roxy being green in the ar world probably just represents to us that she's good and kind towards cassie not that charlie or some other spirit is protecting her. Great video ozone :)
I have a theory that Charlie was having some influence on GlamRock Freddy and by the time we chose to fight the mimic, she already now had full possession/control over him.
@@adammartinez8061 Except we really have no evidence of any Glamrocks being possessed. The "I am not Me" line IS strange, but doesnt mean "i'm a spooky gohst greggory, i'm a fuckin dead kid" exactly...
Happy that you are talking about this, feel like it needs to be said and it's good to see more and more theorists saying something about stuff like this. There is too much focus on stuff like colors when there is so much else that could be looked at and it just feels like tunnel visioning when it's bought up.
The fact it has to be said just shows how much theory crafting has regressed. I miss the days we were examining Freddy’s face and finding what looked like handprints, couple that with the Don’t touch Freddy rule implies that the culprit of the Bite of 87 was actually Freddy and not Foxy.
Technically, Worldbuilding was something that theorists used to rely on, from the pixel games to the newspaper hallucinations in the first game to the checks that you can recieve by beating the games, etcetera, etcetera. It's just that Steel Wool is kind of being incredibly disorganized with how they want to carry on FNAF. They want to carry on stuff that Scott had previously tried to finish.
i think steel wool wants to make environmental storytelling a cornerstone of the modern lore, but since they’re so disorganized, it’s hard to tell what details in the environment are important and which are there just to add flavor to the environment
Even about the tear streaks, we can even apply that if a character's streaks aren't purple, then there ain't no Charlie in them, because those tear streaks represent the purple guy's murder (Which is why they're purple), which is even more beautiful that when Charlie (and with it, that suffering) is gone, the purple streaks disappear. So, Charlie doesn't equal green, she equals the purple tear streaks on a Puppet. And with that, I can assume she's gone.
I generally agree with this, though I do believe Roxanne's green additions in AR are a paralell or reference to the original security-puppet minigame, as it not only has connections with the color green used on an animatronic, but it it one of the few animatronics in the games, along with the security puppet that acts as a sort of guardian or protector for a child, and also the fact AR is generally represented with purplish-magenta colors in RUIN. Beyond that, purely using it as evidence on its own doesn't really work, I just felt the security-puppet roxy connection wasnt completely unfounded- regardless of how strong this connection may actually be
To me, Charlie is gone, Henry made sure that the puppet was sealed inside of Lefty so the green color theory is out. That being said, there is something or someone fighting against the influence of the Pizzaplex but it only relates to the puppet not Charlie. My theory is Henry is the new guardian although i don't know what form has or if it's even related to puppet's influence that keeps spawning inside of the building.
I absolutely understand and certainly agree post ruin, but will defend the fact that theories like John's Charlie theory only added green representing Charlie after certain details In the ruin teases had implications of green vs purple, after having evidence of Charlie in the pizzaplex, most likely the post it note room. It's a kind of detail or evidence point that absolutely can be stretched and extrapolated into theories that don't fit but is a kind of detail that fits the story telling we know with fnaf even during the current help wanted-ongoing time period. Having details in modern games that are pointing back at sometimes inconspicuous details isn't something I'd completely write off unless it's connected to things that have no proper evidence OTHER than the color to back them up. Roxy really has no narrative or proper lore reason to be connected to Charlie or the puppet, so the green AR shell probably just represents being separate from the other animatronics current state for one reason or another. At the end of the day though I really respect and appreciate this kind of video, we don't want misconceptions lingering anymore in this already convoluted franchise....right?
Also Happy Frog in FNAF 6, Montgomery in SB, Rockstar Foxy’s Parrot in UCN, Phantom Animatronics in FNAF 3, PlushTrap, That Green Balloon in FNAF 3 happiest day, The Greenroom’s in SB and Alien Bots in SB:
Mangle isn't green; in fnaf world there's an enemy, that looks like mangle, called Tangle and she is green. We know from the files of SB ruin that the Blob's official name is Tangle; and would you look at that; It has a puppet mask on it's body. Charlie is the Blob; and It was all forshadowed since fnaf world.
If there has to be some color connection Charlie would mean blue due to the puppet park in the blob not having the blue tears the puppet normally does and Elizabeth is definitely green due to her changing baby’s eye color
Yeah I completely agree. Green connected Charlie and Security Puppet in ONE minigame. Connecting green to Charlie means that you could say that Fazbear Frights is possessed by Charlie because of the green colour palette, or that Monty is actually Charlie because he’s green. It doesn’t make sense.
Im so sick of theorists trying to force characters like Charlie, Cassidy and Elizabeth back into the narrative with extreme logical leaps. Just let them rest!
Only one of them I could see being in the new canon rn is cassidy being princess from princess quest but only and only in a case where Glitchtrap is not the mimic but Afton himself
@@ikowski2947 The Princess Sprite was Originally called Cassidy before a patch changed it,but that was more then likely a red harring knowing what we know now
Funny enough the two characters who are associated with green. Also, have strong connections to each other in the original novel trilogy. And both make strange appearances in SB and ruin. Does that mean anything? Green also, symbolizes life and rebirth something the puppet absolutely represents.
Charlie is at Peace. I'll not accept any other outcome, even if the Powers that Be bring her back in the games/books with evidence. As far as I'm concerned, the tear streaks are gone on the Puppet Mask and that means that Charlie is gone. Her gravestone is underneath the tree overlooking the others and she never has to go through anymore Afton based pain ever again. That's what she deserves and that's what she has. Henry's Fire worked in the way that he wanted the most.
Good video, some theories really do seem to be going off the rails lately, but I wonder how much of that is we just expect things to fly in out of left field now. Bit of a random question here, but at 1:26 you say Charlie was William's first murder. That makes sense with what Henry says (not with Chica though, but I digress). Why would the security puppet exist if other events haven't happened yet? The security puppet exists specifically to protect Charlie, but if William hasn't murdered anyone yet then the puppet is protecting her from.... what?
>Why would the security puppet exist if other events haven't happened yet? The security puppet exists specifically to protect Charlie, but if William hasn't murdered anyone yet then the puppet is protecting her from.... what? Honestly, this one's a case of "Murder Tunnelvision" Let's say that Midnight Motorist happens Later That Night... William is Orange, Charlie's death just occurred, Couch Guy is Henry, and Runaway is Michael. William's been put into a much more unstable state after the death of CC/BV, and while he's at work, he asks Henry to watch his beloathed son in mourning. With this being a semi-regular babysitting, Henry creates the Puppet to ensure Charlie stays safe/has someone watching her, incase William/the Staff arent watching her at an important moment while he's away. Thus he can watch over Michael knowing his daughter's absolutely safe and wont get in any trouble. One night, William is pulling out from work when he spots her. The Puppet's been trapped, and she's been locked outside, not in the best mental state (though he certainly wasnt to begin with), he strikes on impulse, and kills her. He dumps the body in the Alleyway and speeds off after his hot-blooded Murder. Midnight Motorist occurs, William gets home, Henry tells him to go easy on the kid, etc etc. Charlie remains the "First Wound", the Puppet serves a more mundane purpose (Which it failed), and Henry isnt there when his daughter is locked out and dies. >not with Chica though, but I digress From the MCI PoV, Chica likely WAS "the first". The first death or the first Possession is still a bit vague, but for that batch she was The First. Followed by Four More children being murdered...
I want to also put my two cents into this, because it goes further than just color association. To put it simply: why would these characters come back? In the case of the Puppet, I can sort of understand why. Maybe Charlie comes back cause "Oh no, now there's a new evil threatening kids in Freddy's locations, I still need to protect them" but even then, there's not a WHOLE lot in the games to suggest that's a possibility. Sure, you have Puppet-esque imagery in the Pizzaplex (the black-and-white striped lights in one of the arcades, the corrupted Staff Bots in the basement, and the hidden Nightmarrione plushies throughout the building) but who's to say those aren't just callbacks to a character from an earlier part of the series? There's plushies of Toy Freddy and Funtime Foxy laying around too, but you don't hear people hyping up their return. In the case of Baby/Elizabeth, it's the same thing: why would she come back? You hear everyone going on about how she wants to "make her daddy proud" and how she's going to be the next big villain in the series, but honestly there would be no point. William isn't around anymore (that we know of) so she wouldn't have anything to prove to anyone because no one would be there to be made proud. It also conflicts with another issue: A good amount of people were PISSED at the idea of William coming back in the form of Burntrap. It overshadows the plot of Glitchtrap/Vanny as his new apprentice, and it feels like Burntrap was semi-retconned into becoming The Mimic, which feels like a more interesting direction for the series to take. It wouldn't make sense for them to go back and replace the concept of William coming back due to fan feedback, only to THEN turn around and insert Charlie and Elizabeth back into the narrative. This comment turned into a small rant, that's my bad. But hopefully people see where I'm coming from.
I like this comment, but feel it's necessary to point out that The Mimic isn't a retcon. The Mimic's first appearance was being written at the same time that Help Wanted was being developed.
@@300bottles2 Im sorry but literally everything in the games contradicts this: from Princess quest 1’s ending and the location of Burntrap to what we know of Early SB and burntraps character alongside stuff like burntraps design pulling heavily from the unearthed Springbonnie suit instead of the mimic. and also the fact that… well… security breach was still in active development and blatantly had its entire story gutted before release. If the mimic did exist in 2019 i highly doubt it had any ties to burntrap (not like it does have anything you can point to for that in ruin anyways)
Thanks for sharing some interesting thoughts with us, Ozone! The color symbolism in FNaF can certainly get confusing at times, especially when it comes to the colors green and purple. For example, if Glitchtrap's green is just the green of computer code, are the purple eyes a sign of William's presence? I also find it odd that Glitchtrap has glowing purple eyes and the Glitchtrap plush has green eyes. It's hard to tell if it's intentional symbolism or a casual design choice. If I had to assign colors to the characters, I suppose Charlie would be blue, Elizabeth would be green, and Circus Baby would be red. Charlie's sprite wears blue in the Take Cake to the Children minigame, and the end of the graphic novel story shows what appears to be robot Charlie with a blue jacket. Elizabeth's presence somehow turns Baby's eyes green to match hers. Graphic novel Baby wears a red dress in her Charlie and animatronic forms.
Even though I haven't kept in touch with Five Nights at Freddy's for a while now I kind of agree with you just because something is green does it mean it's tied to a one certain character. Plus is like just because someone where is green doesn't that is their favorite color
Thank you! i remember when i joked around on the absurdity of color connections. As like... 'green guy in MM is CharlieBot number 5(Male Edition)" and you did mention him as one of the things that are green, cool. I think color connections could be like... cherries on top to a theory? (i feel like i said this to a lot of things...oof)
Honestly, if people said green mean Elizabeth I would be more understanding. Girl changed the mechanical components of BABY by possesing her. Charlie and her wrist band makes no sense
And im really happy your uploading your videos are nice same with your voice even though that may sound weird but your voice makes your videos better sorta since it's a nice voice to listen to in your videos if this makes sense and I hope this doesn't sound weird
This video is SO important for current day fnaf theorising; it's really starting to bother me when I hear a major theorist using colours as the be-all end-all for forming a theory. There are a finite number of colours, and they become even more finite when you start using different colours next to each other, if you have a red/purple then a green is the opposite complimentary colour, so that's what you use to make your visual media look nice.
We all know Green means Monty, as Monty is green. In all seriousness the different colored eyes in the Tiger Rock illustration are probably effects of Mimic1 or an eye had to be swapped out for a spare.
Thanks so much for this video. The Green = Charlie (or rather, Charlotte because thats what Cassette guy calls her) just doesn't work when you consider how colour is used in the series. I actually wrote a post myself recently on the meaning of purple in the series, debunking Green in the process so its nice to see others doing the same. I'm in the camp of thinking that colour has a symbolic meaning in the latter half of the series (SL onwards especially) and it allows us to apply attributes to the animatronics instead. It tells us something about the characters. This makes the way purple is featured on multiple characters (inc. Rockstar Chica, Ballora and Puppet who have no obvious ties to characters) more meaningful. If you're curious, its on my tumblr/website with the same name.
Yup, all very smart and sensible. I think it's wise to test theories by thinking about what the theory would communicate, and then thinking "If I were setting out to communicate this, is this how I would do it?" Obviously people can tell stories in unique ways, but if I wanted everyone to know that green = Charlie, I'd have to make pretty sure that I didn't use green in really any other situation; or make it a really specific shade of green that I never use for anything else. But tbh, it would make a lot more sense to just use something more specific that I could easily avoid using accidentally - like the tears on the mask. It's a shame because the Elizabeth > Baby clue is great. It's one of my favourite kinds of clue in a mystery - the kind that you can easily mistake for... well, a mistake.
Yeah I mostly agree but I don't believe Charlie possessed the nightmarionne staff bots I agree that there a puppet connection but why nightmarionne the nightmare twisted version of the puppet and in turn Charlie
I always thought there's something about Green=Charlie is kinda off, Sure, Charlie's jacket is green in the books and her bracelet is green and Puppet's eyes are green in the midnight motorist, but sometimes its just not it., The colors in the lore means multiple things.
Yeah I think the some colors do mean multiple things something you know symbols things and all and the fredbear ending Gregory had a look little red on ice cream Vanessa look like she had a green on her ice cream to me and Helpi had a green and blue mixed together pn ice cream That's what I seen in the fredbear ending in ruin you know who has ice cream mean Elizabeth and Vanessa last name starts with a ? Afton Abby if vanessa and Gregory have red and green icecream who do you think that represents circus baby also helpi has bule and orange eyes and when helpi eyes change to Orange and there a purple glitchtrap burntrap William veins at the side of helpi head when Cassie put the vanni mask on.
I guess we are ignoring that Steel Wool Studies themselves went out of their way to point out the contrast between the colours purple and green by having 2 of their logos next to each other with each coloured with one of those colours. And then eventually the thought process went to purple representing William Afton (Since he has been represented with the color purple in the recent games). Following that logic Charlie was brought up as an opposing force William and since her presence was seemingly hinted by the presence of Nightmarionne, it was checked if Charlie was ever reprinted by the color green. It's not confirmed that Charlie represents the colour green (or Afton purple), however they were the most likely candidates to be what those colours represented in these games. But yes, the colours green and purple in the Steel Wool era games has driven me crazy before so I rather not focus on that. Instead I like focus on the connections between Mimic, Baby, Eclipse/Moon/Sun and Ella/Charlotte. Since they have been heavily associated together. Eclipse has been tied to mimic due to his teeth and Jester themed clothing (shoes in particular being poulaines/crakows that are very much associated with Jesters), while Eclipse is associates with Baby due to the shoes again and due to both characters being associated with Help Wanted 2 (Pax Booth has Eclipse animatronic and Baby head is pretty close by). And the ties between Baby, Charlotte/Ella and Mimic have a lot more to explain, but to put it simply in Silver Eye trilogy Baby is literally one of the Charlotte robots and Ella just like the Mimic had Agony poured into it. And lastly Baby Jester shoes to Mimic's Jester costume and their connection to Charlotte AND they both lure their respective victims into a trap (Baby luring Michael, Mimic luring Cassie).
>just like the Mimic had Agony poured into it. It's important to note actually: Charlie's DEFINITELY a different case here. In particular, Henry poured both Agony *and* Love into that Ella doll, which would've created a more complete Soul, rather than just Pure negative emotion.
@@higueraft571 This is what I get for not reading books. But still the fact toy/playmate had agony poured into them by inventor making them similar. (And hell the argument that Mimic is evil version Charlie/Ella thematically speaking would make sense)
I think what's worse is that most theories that use this kind of stuff as "proof" don't even need to. It's just padding to make it seem like a theory has more supporting evidence than it has. That's part of why the lore seems so convoluted when it's really not that bad. Theories are just so full of clutter that it encourages people to overthink when they don't really need to.
Okay, I made this comemnt originally on a Sire Squaks video and then on a DMuted video, but heck, it feels appropriate here, and just in case someone watches this but not the other two for whatever reason. It especially fits here though because I kinda said something similar to your video: One thing I've always found frustrating about FNAF lore discussion is... basically, I'm not sure what the "rules" are. This is actually something I recall Matpat mentioning as well. In your video though, you bring up the part where Phone Guy says "singing those same songs for twenty years." But... does that really establish a timeline? Its a dude on a phone making a general statement. He's just a fellow employee--and despite what the internet tends to think, being employed by a company does not mean you know the minutiae of their history (how many McDonalds employees ever heard of Mayor McCheese?) It would be like if I said "sixty years ago, Batman was the hottest thing on TV." That's just me making a guess at how long ago it was, a guess that could easily be wrong (and in that example, definitely is). So you wouldn't take my statement as definitive when establishing a timeline. So why should I take some number a doofus on a phone mentions? I recall this bothering me with the FNAF4 TV thing which established a year. Its meant to establish the game took place in 1983, but... if you really saw a program that gave an exact year like that, it would likely be a documentary retrospective on the franchise. When I watched He-Man as a kid, I don't recall it ever flashing a big screen that said "He-Man 1983." And yes, I understand that you sometimes have to make concessions for the sake of a game... the problem is that all the "Evidence" FNAF delivers is stuff that really should not work or make a lick of sense. In essence, if this were a courtroom, debunking all of it would be Phoenix Wright's easiest courtroom victory ever.
I do really agree with what is said here. I think this is a huge problem in the fnaf theorist community. Theres way too loose logic for so many theories out there. HOWEVER, there does seem to be a color to character going on. Purple is often used in the context of glitchtrap. And gold or yellow is almost always present in the context of the princess.
orange guy is the father of one of the Missing children, In ultimate custom night toy Chica narrates the events as Afton " I will have him by the end of the day, If he doesn't open the door then I will go thru the window, In the end hell be all mine", The footprints outside are not Freddy's nor foxy, they are spring trap's.
i feel like green just symbolizes innocence or the loss of it, or its just a god damn color. if Charlie wore a purple wrist band people would say she's the villain or whatever.
i remember a theorist (i believe it was matpat) said Tigerrock’s eyes represent green for Charlie and BLUE for elizabeth bc blue is elizabeths color. SINCE WHEN?! green and pink and even red would come way before blue being elizabeth’s “designated” color. i was truly dumbfounded at the connection of blue to elizabeth when that has never been true
From what i understood TigerRock represent the Mimic right? I know in this video you just said to not just jump on Color Association but TigerRock has 1 Green Eye & 1 Blue Eye The Puppet had Green Eyes when it was programmed to protect Charlie but got the Blue Marks after being possessed by Charlie The Mimic was created to mimic the Child (that may be an analog of Charlie) So in this chase: TigerRock's Green Eye = The Puppet Green Eye (Protecting/Copying Charlie) TigerRock's Blue Eye = The Puppet Blue Marks (Being Possessed/Mimicking Charlie) So Green + Blue Mixed Eyes = Mimic? What do you think?
At 0:24, I don't think censoring that was the best call. It took me way too long to realize that was a mosaic blurred corpse hand rather than something else.
Amused that you pulled a GTLIVE on Tales 8's cover. XD I'll also mention the Puppet likely wasn't Charlie initially (Save HIM) and therefore not the green connection. And as NotRealName NotAtAll said in her videos, the Puppet hadn't really any ties to Charlie outside of FNAF 6 (and moreso felt a name drop to advertise the novels seeing as she's Cassette Man's nameless daughter at minimum with her dad deduced as Henry so therefore she's Charlie) . Puppet's had very little prominence after 6 - including books - whereas Baby is still making rounds. I will note another character with mismatched eyes: Pig Patch, and they're even blue and green albeit on opposite sides. The name Tiger Rock is even similar with animal first as opposed to the other Mediocres. As for Charlie or anyone returning at all, I'd say that kicked off from Princess Quest having "I ALWAYS COME BACK" that had us believe Glitchtrap truly is William due to the line from FNAF 6 (a game now called to question via Monty Within). Then there's Frights' way with drawing parallels to solve old lore, and the Freddy spaghetti of Security Breach and everyone's debated for return: Gregory looks like the Crying Child, Vanessa has similarities to Elizabeth, Michael gets considered in Freddy, ya got Peepaw, Cassidy's name once in Princess Quest, and the of lit up faceplates minus Baby and Puppet suggesting Elizabeth and Charlie significance.
Wait but if tear streaks = Charlie is present then that means all the ghosts of the missing children incident including the soul of the crying child care protected by Charlie and and all the bodies (in the fnaf 1,2 mini games) are also Charlie possessed or present unless that argument only applies to the puppet anyway I think this is a very good theory but there really some flaws like the ones that I mentioned before
I think Green would be more representative of the puppet if anyone and since the colours are not important that much anymore It's would probably at most be representative of good and blue evil
Thank you for having common sense like I don’t understand this nonsense with colors representing characters that have nothing to do with the current story of the series
Honestly this was always the one Matpat thing where I was like, eh, I really don't see it. Maybe if there was SOME other instance of Charlie=green elsewhere it could be more of a connection but it's just not a very relevant character detail to her. The dumb thing too is I don't even think Matpat needed this connection for his theories. The Mimic story already feels VERY MUCH like it's mirroring the Silver Eyes. If you want to connect stuff to Charlie, that's a WAY stronger angle than a green bracelet in one minigame.
I greatly appreciate this video. The Charlie, Baby and Elizabeth obsession in the fandom lately has been nothing but frustrating to watch. Also I don't think you need to do all of the prefacing that you do with civility towards other theorists. It's a bit silly since you're not exactly talking about heavy topics here. If anything I'd be a little harsher towards certain theorists and how their theories and how they understand the story; they do active harm to the discourse around the series and are part of the reason people doubt that the books are within the game's timeline.
>and are part of the reason people doubt that the books are within the game's timeline. It's more the books have enough errors it'd be like saying the Encyclopedia is Game-accurate and we can trust what it says, hoping it's not a fuckup on the writer's part :V There's also the question of, say: "How does Spider-Mimic go from a Pink-and-Green Jester Springlock to Burntrap", if that's the supposed route, or "where did the costumes and such go"
@@higueraft571 Don't get me wrong, the books are FULL of inconsistencies and problems in relation to how perfectly they connect with the games. However I think it's undeniable at this point that the books are meant to share a timeline with the games despite these mistakes. There's all kinds of square pegs fans try to fit into round holes when it comes to just the lore in the games, it's not fair to throw away the books just because there's some rough edges that prevent a seamless connection.
No it's because when Freddy says you look different about Gregory when he has Roxanne's eyes and Gregory hesitates to say his name why would he hesitate to say his own name and the mimic says the same thing I'm Gregory just like the real Gregory also Gregory is homeless but Cassie is not she has a dad because it stated in the game.
FNAF Theories: Green means Charlie. Montgomery Gator, Rockstar Foxy’s Parrot, The Alien Bots in SB, The Greenrooms in SB, that one green balloon in happiest day in FNAF 3, those kids from the circus baby MiniGame, PlushTrap:
To be fair, while still out there, FuhNaff's theory about the green lights on the chip representing Charlie doesn't hinge entirely on the chip light color, that is more of circumstantial evidence. The Charlie virus thing comes from a mix of how CharlieBot4/Hot Charlie was stolen by Afton to make Baby in the Trilogy and the David/Mimic being a Tales analogue for Charlie. He is saying: If: Baby was made by Afton out of CharlieBot4 AND Mimic = CharlieBots Then: Baby's [and possibly all the Funtimes'] base programming is based on Mimic1 which is the Program that the CharlieBots used. So when Charliebot/Baby eats Elizabeth, there are 2 personalities in it: 1> CharlieMimic [the one that leads you through Sister Location and escapes on said disk, since it is just code at the end of the day] 2> Elizabeth's Remnant/Agony, normally suppressed by the Charlie/Mimic program, but left alone after said program is removed and uploaded to HandUnit This is to explain why after Scooping, Baby switches to Elizabeth's voice and goes from rebellious and crafty to daddy's girl. He isn't [or at least doesn't seem to be] saying that the Chip is possessed by the Agony/Remnant of Charlie, only that it contains Baby's original OS, which [conflating 4th Closet and Tales] is some combination of the Mimic1 program and the CharlieBot4 OS [which FuhNaff seems to think are one and the same]
@adammartinez8061 I'm beginning to think the Steel Wool version of the timeline is going with the old books/games are fanfiction/FazPropaganda for what actually happened, which is their games ans the Tales books. So Afton and Henry are standins for (actual killer) and Edwin. Under this the mimic is replicating what it saw in the games and in-universe books to create the glitchtrap, nightmarrionne and burntrap personas. The hole in this is the Blob/Tangle and similarities between the underground Pizzaria and FNaF6/Sister Location. The confirmation or refutation will come in Help Wanted 2. If the sister Location bunker (and possibly FNaF6) is real world or in-universe fane will make or break this
@@Lightman0359 ...we know for a fact FNAF 6 actually exists in reality. You can literally SEE the stage that you'd have ingame. It's also hinted to be built out of/over Fredbear's, and we also have signs for that location too.
@@higueraft571 The location, yes, and the burners to do the deed, but the complete events still [unfortunately] have a slim chance of being retconned in HW2 as just a game. It is possible that only half of FNaF6 is in HW2 [if at all, it might actually be a real person going into a real faz bunker], like how parts of FNaF 1-4 were missing [the 8-bit Mini Games], if HW2 continues the video game tester explanation, then UCN and the night sections of FNaF6 [the parts that make sense in VR] will be there, without the Pizza Sim sections [since those are not VR friendly, and are not lore relevant to a cover-up] My proposal isn't that the events of the games didn't happen, but like WW2 video games, they didn't happen as shown in the games re-made in HW, as they are presented there. So someone did commit murder using a mascot suit, and there was an incident involving a car and the creator's child [since those parts of the story exist in all 4 sub continuities]. The precise nature of the characters can be easily retconned as in-universe propaganda. The evidence for the 1st person parts of FNaF6, and the Afton Family stuff in SL [as well as the Fazbear Frights books] being in-universe propaganda is as follows: -Plushtrap and Scrap Baby have physical merch -Plushtrap, Scraptrap, and Fetch have arcade games in the Pizzaplex. The final confirmation or denial will be if say a Silver Eyes book or Twisted Animatronic shows up as an Easter egg [implying the names of the Afton and Emily families are the in-universe fiction], or if a Tales from the Pizzaplex book or Bobbiedot plush show up, we can be confident that the Edwin part of the story is the cover-up. Since Fetch has in-universe merch [an arcade game] it is safe to assume that the Fazbear Frights books are in-universe, and the Fazbear's Fright [FNaF3 location] was a tie-in to it, with in-universe FNaF3 being an in-universe licensed game. It is also possible that the location did not actually exist and was just an in-universe Cameo name to promote the books [like how the real-world books are a play on the name of the FNaF3 location].

Very Nice Video! My biggest problem with color theory is that sometimes its used in a way to keep a theory together in its weaker points. With Security Breach being such a big game we're able to get so much more details in characters then ever before. In more modern FNAF lore if your going to use details make sure you go all the way with them.
Then theres matpat “BLUE MEANS ELIZABETH” i have no clue where he got that seeing as baby’s eyes turned green when she got possessed
The source? Himself obviously.

As a brilliant mind (myself) once said:
"If someone likes Foxy, it doesn't mean anything.
Thank you for addressing this. Somebody should have said it.
The fact it has to be said just shows how much theory crafting has regressed. I miss the days we were examining Freddy’s face and finding what looked like handprints, couple that with the Don’t touch Freddy rule implies that the culprit of the Bite of 87 was actually Freddy and not Foxy.
@@kyubbikcat2281 I miss old FNAF days to
Technically, Worldbuilding was something that theorists used to rely on, from the pixel games to the newspaper hallucinations in the first game to the checks that you can recieve by beating the games, etcetera, etcetera.
Beyond that, purely using it as evidence on its own doesn't really work, I just felt the security-puppet roxy connection wasnt completely unfounded- regardless of how strong this connection may actually be
I love how Ozone draws the line at FNAF AR but not at linking Charlie to grass 😂
Anyways, great video!
The word green was said so many times in this video that it doesn't even sound like a word to me anymore
Only time I ever link color to anything in this franchise is whenever they change Bonnie's shade of Bluish-Purple

Thank you for clarifying this topic. I definitely think it needed to be discussed as it has been bothering me for ages.

The security puppet exists specifically to protect Charlie, but if William hasn't murdered anyone yet then the puppet is protecting her from.... what?
Honestly, this one's a case of "Murder Tunnelvision"
Let's say that Midnight Motorist happens Later That Night...
Charlie remains the "First Wound", the Puppet serves a more mundane purpose (Which it failed), and Henry isnt there when his daughter is locked out and dies.
>not with Chica though, but I digress
From the MCI PoV, Chica likely WAS "the first".
@@300bottles2 Im sorry but literally everything in the games contradicts this:
from Princess quest 1’s ending and the location of Burntrap to what we know of Early SB and burntraps character alongside stuff like burntraps design pulling heavily from the unearthed Springbonnie suit instead of the mimic.
and also the fact that… well… security breach was still in active development and blatantly had its entire story gutted before release.
If the mimic did exist in 2019 i highly doubt it had any ties to burntrap (not like it does have anything you can point to for that in ruin anyways)
@@300bottles2 In addition, Glitchtrap outright mimics "hello? can you hear me?" in the select screen. Glitchtrap has been the Mimic from day one.
WONDERFUL TOPIC, and amazing video, Ozone! Your quality grows so much and it's awesome!
This just proves that the fandom shouldn't overthink too much.
Finally, someone has addressed this
"Green means Charlie"
Literally Game Theory's logo:
Even though I haven't kept in touch with Five Nights at Freddy's for a while now I kind of agree with you just because something is green does it mean it's tied to a one certain character. Plus is like just because someone where is green doesn't that is their favorite color

This has now become the "Oops, all Charlie" meme
An ozone upload..LETS GO. 🔥
We all know Green means Monty, as Monty is green. In all seriousness the different colored eyes in the Tiger Rock illustration are probably effects of Mimic1 or an eye had to be swapped out for a spare.
Sometimes the curtains are just blue...........
It is like every single time I think I'm done with Five Nights at Freddy's there is something that always brings me back for some reason.

It's important to note actually:
Charlie's DEFINITELY a different case here.
In particular, Henry poured both Agony *and* Love into that Ella doll, which would've created a more complete Soul, rather than just Pure negative emotion.

But still the fact toy/playmate had agony poured into them by inventor making them similar. (And hell the argument that Mimic is evil version Charlie/Ella thematically speaking would make sense)

@@higueraft571 He's probably Andrew's dad or the dad of some other MCI victim
I think what's worse is that most theories that use this kind of stuff as "proof" don't even need to. It's just padding to make it seem like a theory has more supporting evidence than it has. That's part of why the lore seems so convoluted when it's really not that bad. Theories are just so full of clutter that it encourages people to overthink when they don't really need to.
Green does not mean Charlie!

Damn it! XD
Thus, Elizabeth and Charlie are the same person
Okay, I made this comemnt originally on a Sire Squaks video and then on a DMuted video, but heck, it feels appropriate here, and just in case someone watches this but not the other two for whatever reason. It especially fits here though because I kinda said something similar to your video:
One thing I've always found frustrating about FNAF lore discussion is... basically, I'm not sure what the "rules" are. This is actually something I recall Matpat mentioning as well.
In your video though, you bring up the part where Phone Guy says "singing those same songs for twenty years." But... does that really establish a timeline? Its a dude on a phone making a general statement. He's just a fellow employee--and despite what the internet tends to think, being employed by a company does not mean you know the minutiae of their history (how many McDonalds employees ever heard of Mayor McCheese?)
It would be like if I said "sixty years ago, Batman was the hottest thing on TV." That's just me making a guess at how long ago it was, a guess that could easily be wrong (and in that example, definitely is).
When I watched He-Man as a kid, I don't recall it ever flashing a big screen that said "He-Man 1983."
And yes, I understand that you sometimes have to make concessions for the sake of a game... the problem is that all the "Evidence" FNAF delivers is stuff that really should not work or make a lick of sense.
Can we just take a time to appreciate this man’s editing? 😌✨

6:51 Maybe scott wanted to stop The color Theory S*it with Orange Guy. Orange guy is William. (Maybe)
i remember a theorist (i believe it was matpat) said Tigerrock’s eyes represent green for Charlie and BLUE for elizabeth bc blue is elizabeths color. SINCE WHEN?! green and pink and even red would come way before blue being elizabeth’s “designated” color. i was truly dumbfounded at the connection of blue to elizabeth when that has never been true
From what i understood TigerRock represent the Mimic right?
I know in this video you just said to not just jump on Color Association but
TigerRock has 1 Green Eye & 1 Blue Eye
The Puppet had Green Eyes when it was programmed to protect Charlie
but got the Blue Marks after being possessed by Charlie
The Mimic was created to mimic the Child (that may be an analog of Charlie)
So in this chase:
TigerRock's Green Eye = The Puppet Green Eye (Protecting/Copying Charlie)
TigerRock's Blue Eye = The Puppet Blue Marks (Being Possessed/Mimicking Charlie)
So Green + Blue Mixed Eyes = Mimic?
What do you think?
At 0:24, I don't think censoring that was the best call. It took me way too long to realize that was a mosaic blurred corpse hand rather than something else.
News flash THERE CAN BE MORE THAN ONE OF GREEN GIVE IN TAKE IN ACCOUNT AFTON AND MICHAEL BEING PURPLE JUST DIFFERENT SHADES LIKE WHAT
oh my god👼I have green eyes👁💚 am I PoSsEsEd by ChArLiE☠😨💥
Amused that you pulled a GTLIVE on Tales 8's cover. XD
I'll also mention the Puppet likely wasn't Charlie initially (Save HIM) and therefore not the green connection.
" FNAF 6 (a game now called to question via Monty Within)" How so, I thought that was some kind of VR story?
I LOVE this video a LOT.
bro censored the lil feet in the cover of the new tales books 💀💀
“🤓uhm actually Cassie’s nails are green so she has to have some relation to Charlie too”
Honestly this was always the one Matpat thing where I was like, eh, I really don't see it.
Oh my god we've all turned into high school English teachers
I greatly appreciate this video. The Charlie, Baby and Elizabeth obsession in the fandom lately has been nothing but frustrating to watch. Also I don't think you need to do all of the prefacing that you do with civility towards other theorists. It's a bit silly since you're not exactly talking about heavy topics here. If anything I'd be a little harsher towards certain theorists and how their theories and how they understand the story; they do active harm to the discourse around the series and are part of the reason people doubt that the books are within the game's timeline.
>and are part of the reason people doubt that the books are within the game's timeline.
It's more the books have enough errors it'd be like saying the Encyclopedia is Game-accurate and we can trust what it says, hoping it's not a fuckup on the writer's part :V
There's also the question of, say: "How does Spider-Mimic go from a Pink-and-Green Jester Springlock to Burntrap", if that's the supposed route, or "where did the costumes and such go"
@@higueraft571 Don't get me wrong, the books are FULL of inconsistencies and problems in relation to how perfectly they connect with the games.
2:09 Thank You!!
So is that why ppl think Gregory is a robot cuz he has streams down his face like the puppet so he must be a robot?
No it's because when Freddy says you look different about Gregory when he has Roxanne's eyes and Gregory hesitates to say his name why would he hesitate to say his own name and the mimic says the same thing I'm Gregory just like the real Gregory also Gregory is homeless but Cassie is not she has a dad because it stated in the game.
Bro censored the feet.
Fnaf children, take notes.
He is saying:
If: Baby was made by Afton out of CharlieBot4
AND
Mimic = CharlieBots
Then: Baby's [and possibly all the Funtimes'] base programming is based on Mimic1 which is the Program that the CharlieBots used.
So when Charliebot/Baby eats Elizabeth, there are 2 personalities in it:
1> CharlieMimic [the one that leads you through Sister Location and escapes on said disk, since it is just code at the end of the day]
2> Elizabeth's Remnant/Agony, normally suppressed by the Charlie/Mimic program, but left alone after said program is removed and uploaded to HandUnit
This is to explain why after Scooping, Baby switches to Elizabeth's voice and goes from rebellious and crafty to daddy's girl.
He isn't [or at least doesn't seem to be] saying that the Chip is possessed by the Agony/Remnant of Charlie, only that it contains Baby's original OS, which [conflating 4th Closet and Tales] is some combination of the Mimic1 program and the CharlieBot4 OS [which FuhNaff seems to think are one and the same]
Well, I am in on the whole Charlie virus theory, but I think it’s the opposite of the Mimic Virus.
It is possible that only half of FNaF6 is in HW2 [if at all, it might actually be a real person going into a real faz bunker], like how parts of FNaF 1-4 were missing [the 8-bit Mini Games], if HW2 continues the video game tester explanation, then UCN and the night sections of FNaF6 [the parts that make sense in VR] will be there, without the Pizza Sim sections [since those are not VR friendly, and are not lore relevant to a cover-up]
My proposal isn't that the events of the games didn't happen, but like WW2 video games, they didn't happen as shown in the games re-made in HW, as they are presented there.
So someone did commit murder using a mascot suit, and there was an incident involving a car and the creator's child [since those parts of the story exist in all 4 sub continuities]. The precise nature of the characters can be easily retconned as in-universe propaganda.
The evidence for the 1st person parts of FNaF6, and the Afton Family stuff in SL [as well as the Fazbear Frights books] being in-universe propaganda is as follows:
-Plushtrap and Scrap Baby have physical merch
-Plushtrap, Scraptrap, and Fetch have arcade games in the Pizzaplex.
I thought you were going to say “Consistency isn’t consistent” 😜
