In my opinion, celebrating 1st birthday in a grand manner with lots of guests is not necessary... All of the first birthdays I went to, the baby keeps crying coz of the grand clothes, sweat and crowd. It is the responsibility of the parent to make the kid understand at a later age. The child only feels inferior if the mother feels guilty about not celebrating. Being with family during birthdays is the most important... Be it at home or vacation. Not celebrating in a grand manner does not mean that you love the child any less. Kudos for your decision sunitha❤

Hi, for the pasta, you need to pour the tomato paste on top of the shells not on bottom. Try in this way it ll be more yummy.

Same like you we planned , not to celebrate but go on a trip and spend time together and capture memories... But that didnt work out because family and friends wanna be with the baby and wish and bless her... So we decided to celebrate the bday in a very simple way at home and to go on trip after she grows up may be next year... We are celebrating on july 6 ,

Whether you celebrate other birthdays or not but First Birthday is very important. Atleast celebrate with a smaller crowd at house level.
Please celebrate 1st birthday for chikoo within family atleast in a simple way please. He is a gift from God and deserves it. Please dont hesitate and regret for it later. Nothing to think twice about it. Just go fr it. He added the joy and blessing to our family, so fr it. You will feel the happiness in double measure

It’s not that way SUNi . You will feel guilty after few months for not celebrating Chikko’s birthday . If you preplan you can definitely cut his birthday cake in Eiffel Tower which I wished for my second kid but couldn’t. If you have international palm you can definitely try this . Even if it’s not on the same day you can still make it on some other day in the same month since it’s already time . Advance birthday wishes for all the July babies

@@divyalakshmi1287 s. I think that way. Bcas he s too young to know the place and enjoy the trip. Food and stay may or may not be OK with a small kid.lot of pre prep needed to try a trip with an infant. So that way staying and enjoying in an atmosphere where the kid is already adapted is a better way. By the way if u arrange a buffet party at hotel u need not worry of taking care of guest. They have already Celebrated 5th and 7th month baby shower like that. They can handle it easier
You can try vacation to Srilanka and stay in Airbandb homestay where you can make small meals since you have kids. They have lovely beaches and sea food is amazing.

Actually Sunitha sis, i want to tell you pls try to celebrate his birthday without fail. Because even we faced the same situation due to corona lockdown. We were very much interested in celebrating my son's 1st birthday. Because we celebrated my daughter's bd a bit grand but due to lockdown we were not able to do the same for my son. You believe it or not he is just 3 yrs old and whenever he sees his sister's birthday album he becomes so sad. We cannot compensate it with any other excuses. My daughter is just 1yr and 3 months elder than my son. It makes myself and my husband feel guilt always when we talk about it or when other person asks..
Similar situation. But I'm so happy that we did celebrate both of my sons birthday. Older one turned 8 on the 2nd of July and younger one turned 3 in February. Older ones was a bit more grand as younger ones birthday was during the lockdown. I did not want to celebrate 1st birthday of either kids because I thought it would not make a difference as they are small and it would be difficult. But since my in laws insisted, we celebrated their birthdays and I'm so so glad they did. Both of them are happy and feel loved equally. I thought these things don't matter but somehow they do. Please celebrate your son's first birthday as well. It does make a difference
