DO NOT ENTER THE TRANSFER PORTAL WITHOUT A PLAN!!!! In other words, know where you are going before you hit the portal. The most savvy players have used the inquiry period wisely where they can contact the desired colleges themselves. Also, these players frequently use "back channels" (ie their AAU coaches or private coaches) to contact the desired college coaches where they may want to play. These contacts are fishing around to gauge the desired colleges' level of interest. It is very tricky. The portal really exposes how delusional some of these players are about their athletic abilities. They assume they will be a hot commodity in the transfer portal, but all they get are "crickets." A lot of times, these players end up going to a lower level college (i.e. lower level Division I or Division II). Quita is right that a lot of players in the transfer portal do not get pickup up. Gotta do your homework!

@@takishabaker7520 This is happening because of the dissolution of the Pac - 12. Oregon State will become a member of the WCC. The WCC is a smaller conference that doesn't get the recognition of major conferences like the Pac - 12. Nationally, almost nobody watches WCC games outside of WCC teams. Players want to be seen by the entire country as much as possible for better name recognition, and that won't happen in the WCC.
The transfer portal as it is in sports is a darn mess... We have all the bozos cry about players being empowered and getting what they deserve 🙄being utterly ignorant to the fact majority of the players don't even get picked up, loose scholarships who are worth a ton of money, loose their chance for a degree as well if they can't continue their studies and even if they are picked up.. Plenty don't get much NIL at all and might have to trade down to a lower division. You ain't guaranteed anything truly at the new school. It also ignores that portals are used to get rid of players! Telling them to enter the portal. And ignoring the havoc and chaos it can bring to rosters and programs especially of lower tier schools... It's a mad circus especially in bigger sports
Exactly! Iowa has three solid starters, with Addy O’Grady showing she can play defense against Angel. One thing Iowa has that no other team in the country has is America’s heart and attention. Yes, losing Caitlin will hurt, but people had time to learn about Lisa's blunder and the rest of the team. The Big ten usually sends 7/8 teams to the tourney.
I know you gotta do what you think is best for you but it's sad that they just want to skip the grind. The parity of this sport should continue coz domination and super teams in any sport is boring asf! It might bring back the WCBB to its normal obscurity where nobody cares bcoz it is expected who will win. 😒
It's pretty bad and unwise honestly. Majority of these kids need a good education and degree plus connections at their school more than some short term money (if they get any) and won't make it professionally
Yes if LSU get the right pieces to complement the team that they have. We still have Flaujae, Morrow, and MKW so we don’t need much. Just some ppl who can enhance what we already have. We need a bomb ass point guard. She doesn’t even have to be a scorer, just someone who can alternate with Poa and distribute the ball. I still think we could’ve won the chip with a healthy Indiya Rogers of A&M. I remember when she entered the portal I was praying LSU got her😢
The way Mulkey sat most of her team, I dont know if players really wanna take that risk. Plus the way she put Van Lith on an island by herself to get cooked by Clark, I dunno....
Sounds unnecessary to grovel. Anyone can apply to any college and go there if accepted. Why do student athletes need to be treated differently than other students.
Seeing Chloe Kitts play with a worse supporting cast would be interesting. I got one for you…wonder what Paige Beckers would look like playing for DePaul. 😂
So Mckenzie Holmes Indiana is having knee surgery and entering the draft...maybe she knows someone is taking her first early 2nd round? I dunno who, there's only 12 slots but hey the sky got 13...lol...I ain't Adam Schefter and this ain't football, but Quita did say the Sky have a forward or two that are long in the tooth...ok, players not to rebuild with😊 and if they take Angel @8 who will they they take at 13??
Holmes may get drafted but she will probably have to go overseas to play once she has healed. Look at Monica L. from Iowa, she never made a roster in the WNBA.

@@QuitaLovesSports I was looking forward to them running it back but understand the position the players were put in now.
No more PAC 12 NETWORK?
Rest in peace PAC 12 Network. Well, technically they'll be around til the end of June but after that, no more.
South Carolina needs a new center
I think it's Watkins
Haily van lit should go to IOWA. She can make a difference there if they want her!
That's a joke, right?
@@mplou699 I would if I want my draft rating to go up. LIke van lit. does
Petty shouldve stayed at Kentucky & Kent shouldve stayed at LSU.
Yall rem Lexi from LSU transferred 3 or 4 times.
Aneesah Chloe will never happen. Aneesah had an opportunity to play with Chloe. She canceled the visit.
THIS SH*T CRAZY ...AZZI FUDD IN DA PORTAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember when people went to colleges for an education. Good Times....
My Lady Vols néed help!
UConn Women is gonna win National next season.
Possible... but only if they add to their back court (Jana, Ice and Ayanna is not enough) ...
No they are not, you've been saying that since 2017.
No
@@feck1582 You mean "front court", I know its back a**ard.
M'excuse... my bad...
Hope Beers goes to Utah
I know you gotta do what you think is best for you but it's sad that they just want to skip the grind. The parity of this sport should continue coz domination and super teams in any sport is boring asf! It might bring back the WCBB to its normal obscurity where nobody cares bcoz it is expected who will win. 😒
These girls wanna win. But it should not take almost 4 years to realize there current team is not championship material.
There’s lots of overrated players in the portal too. Look at LSU’s prize from last year for the best example.
Morrow from DePaul is solid.
NOOOOOOOOOOO! Not Hannah!
No, Hannah Hidalgo is NOT in the portal.
It sounds like education and your degree really doesn’t matter since you just pick up and go. 🤔
It's pretty bad and unwise honestly. Majority of these kids need a good education and degree plus connections at their school more than some short term money (if they get any) and won't make it professionally
Can LSU regroup via the portal?
Yes if LSU get the right pieces to complement the team that they have. We still have Flaujae, Morrow, and MKW so we don’t need much. Just some ppl who can enhance what we already have. We need a bomb ass point guard. She doesn’t even have to be a scorer, just someone who can alternate with Poa and distribute the ball. I still think we could’ve won the chip with a healthy Indiya Rogers of A&M. I remember when she entered the portal I was praying LSU got her😢
They better hope so, because their incoming recruiting class is nothing to brag about.
The way Mulkey sat most of her team, I dont know if players really wanna take that risk. Plus the way she put Van Lith on an island by herself to get cooked by Clark, I dunno....
@@gradeafun Yea that Mulkey move made no sense to me, I've never coached but even I know better than to assign defending Caitlin to a 5'6" HVL.
@@VincentBaker-j1bIndeed, so yea, that is what made me wonder about their portal plans.
Who do yall think is going to win next year?
Right now its looking like South Carolina, but we will see...
Sounds unnecessary to grovel. Anyone can apply to any college and go there if accepted. Why do student athletes need to be treated differently than other students.
Because they bring more visibility to the schools and make $$ for the schools.
Seeing Chloe Kitts play with a worse supporting cast would be interesting. I got one for you…wonder what Paige Beckers would look like playing for DePaul. 😂
Kitts is a fundamentally sound baller...👌🏾💯
HVL should go D2 where she belongs talent wise
@@mplou699 I think Holmes has a better chance of making a team than Monika Czinano.
Beers to Iowa
That would be a great place for her!
Maybe Iowa can come up with the $$ they couldn't come up with last year to get a top portal post.
Their sport career could be over AND their scholarship is gone.
You talk to slow..
Oh ok, try watching in 2x speed
Just when I think you’re unbiased, I see a clickbait title like this. Sahnya Jah entered the portal almost a month ago. That’s not news.
This isn’t a breaking news video talking about brand new portal entries. This video is an informative video about the portal and who is in it, and Jah is in the portal so I don’t know what’s the problem
Not sure 🤔 how this this clickbait, it’s factual
?? Whew... what can I say....😂😂😂😂
So if you declare and don't say where you are going, questions still remain, and the fact you declared is then ongoing news on a list with those who are transfering too.
Silly comment. Maybe if you had some constructive criticism...
You're grasping at straws.
@@QuitaLovesSports Serious question. When you made the title of the video, you didn’t think(maybe even a little) that HVL, Kelly and Jah’s names might spark a bit of sensationalism? Get people to click on the video? I get HVL & Kelly because people are talking about them. Truthfully, no one outside of Gamecock Nation is checking for Jah. However, I could be reading too much into it. If so, I stand corrected.
Also, I’m not saying the video is not factual. It’s very good info. Just not much mentioned about Jah and not until an hour and 38 minutes into the video. That makes the title a bit misleading. IMHO
This CHANNELL IS BIAS AND YOU ONLYNWANNA TALK ABOUT PLAYERS YOURE IBSESSED WITH! ITS OLAYERS OUT HEAR THAT WILL MAKE THEM BIG NAMES UNOBSSESED WITH LOOK LIKE FOOLS! U A HYPE BEAST
