Those zig zag lines means that there is parking allowed on the side of the road and driver should go slow. We have uncut lines which says that lane changing is not allowed...same way. I am not a 100% sure but this is what I know
Beautiful stretch around Kanyakumari & Dhanuskodi.....been riding in those areas in Jan-2024.....I recommend riding hilly terrain: Varkala, Alappuzha, Thekeddy, Munnar, Coimbatore, Ooty, Mysore...all excellent locations ....and use village / side-roads not highways for these destinations....you will get real 'essence of India'....stay safe, ride safe
As per IRC code, zigzag line in centre of the road means there is zebra crossing ahead. This practice is obsolete nowadays but still followed is Southern India. As you can see at 8:18 zigzag ends and a zebra crossing is provided.

That family sickness is for real...ideal solo travel for family person is maximum 3-4 days ....after that family sickness creeps and solo ride feels more like job than enjoyment. Wonder how wanderda goes on solo trips for one month
