I was just working on a video about how Bungie never did anything with the momento system and then boom, bungie just drops a new momento in the twid lmao

So we can get an all-black memento but not a shader. I see how it is bungie 😭
Isn't it kind of both? The memento is the tracker. Which then unlocks the shader

@@ThomasTheTankEngine22 honestly. It'd be cool if the mementos could be used on armor. They're technically shaders like you said, so it's odd that it's weapons only, but a lot of stuff Bungie does is odd to me lol.

@@meiky0o_aimit is a w. There are so many sparrows that look so much nicer and are much harder to get yet are still worse. That doesn’t make any sense lmao. I have always on time as well but this a good change.

Finally i can put this dogwater sparrow in the vault and can use cool sparrows instead.
Always On Time will still be the only one anyone uses because of Stealth Running and the improved dodge cooldown
You know I kinda wonder why the other Raid Sparrows didn’t have unique perks like AoT… I could see this if it happened:
Gouging Light - Passive Recovery Field
Retrocasualty - Ammo Factory
Osseain Earthcarver - Taken Resistance
Etc…
@Corruptinator Because Bungie is an indie dev and can't (don't) put effort into their content. Always on time came out back when they cared.
the always on time sparrow doesn’t really have anything unique except speed because the cooldown thing can roll on all sparrows and the “stealth” perk only gives a little bit more health (this has been tested)
The sparrow change is nice but makes me wonder if they’ll do anything about Always on Time since it’s locked behind raid currency
Bungie really trying to make me play Destiny 2 right around the time Spider-Man 2 drops…
i hope they can get the sense to make momentos from all important activities (duality momento, taken weapon momento, etc)
AND remove the limit of 1 unused memento. It's an embuggerance to have to keep going back to the Enclave when I'm on a hot streak in Gambit.
im putting that memento on all my crafted weapons
Wish they would bring back the season pass from season of the hunt
But they *are* bringing back the Seasonal Ornaments from past Seasons...

Sparrows a nice change. It has me wondering if they're changing the boost costs too.
Otherwise, no time will still be king.

Isn’t a memento only available for crafted weapons like the gambit or the nightfall memento? Or does he mean shader?
Just checked the TWID and it appears to be a memento, not a shader that drops from the event engrams.

there is a gambit momento you could get a while back. Have it but you can only use it on crafted weapon and it gives you added perks.(One of them is a shader)
That's what mementos are and the gambit one is still in the game its just a rare drop

What’s the difference between the all black momento shader for a gun and a regular all black shader for a gun?
Momentos can only go on crafted weapons and are rarer, but it usually has movement on the gun, gives it special titles and trackers, and is more consistent than finding a shader that does all black
Momentos at a certain level offer stat increases.

Shader should be separate from momentos. Once you get your first memento The associated shader should be unlocked. I shouldn't have to apply a memento to have access to a shader.
Reasons why I’ve never used my one and only trials memento because I’m probably never gonna get carried again

Unless its a guaranteed drop you just know the drop chance will be nothing, Forgot how long they've been in the game and ive never had one.
Pretty sure the trials one is guaranteed on flawless since Ive gotten one everytime Ive been flawless. And Ive gotten plenty of Gambit mementos. I have never done a GM so I've never gotten the Nightfall memento to speak on

This new memento is fine and all but people keep saying it should have been an all black shader. All black shaders are so overrated..

Emblem that barely anyone will use or care about instead of putting more effort into fixing their game: L
Imo sparrow change is an L, always on time was one of those things you’d grind for that actually felt worth it. If anything they shouldve just made it its own speed.
You still get the benefit of a shorter dodge cooldown, and less enemy agro.
The change is beneficial for every other sparrow in the game to actually be worth looking at, rather than insta-dismantling because gross-ass AoT was faster.

Nah, sparrow biggest W. Even people who have the sparrow are tired of not being able to change their look.
Nah sparrow change is amazing. Always on time looks boring. There are many other sparrows which are harder to get and look way nicer yet are not as good. Doesn’t make sense. Making all sparrows the same speed is good as it allows more variety
