Watch the funniest Mock The Week moments here! We're uploading your favourite Mock The Week clips featuring Milton Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Stewart Francis, Hugh Dennis and more every week, hosted by Dara O'Briain.
Mock the Week is a British topical, satirical celebrity panel show, that was created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson.
“The best thing about Titanic is there couldn’t be a sequel.” There was, it was called Raise the Titanic. It’s just that it was made 17 years before James Cameron‘s Titanic, and almost nobody saw it.
Pretty boring film, Raise The Titanic, but John Barry's music score is achingly beautiful. The book is much more exciting.
Answer 1.84 billion. Question, according to Hugh Dennis, how many people are paying too much for their car insurance?
They could make a sequel to Titanic based around her sister ship Britannic, which sank in 1916. It could focus on Violet Jessop, the nurse who survived both sinkings. James Cameron could surely get another 3 hour boredom fest out of that.
My thoughts exactly, could also do a sideways leap to Lusitania.
How about a movie about the Japanese guy who survived getting nuked while he was in Hiroshima only to get nukes again in Nagasaki days later. I think he lived to 101 or something.
Don't give him any ideas
@@grahamstrouse1165 The Wolverine already exists.
There was a Titanic 2
03:33 had me cracking up.
3:16 too😆
Avatar 2 will be released when Frankie Boyle will return to Mock The Week...
UA-cam sticks ads in front of a clip from a BBC show. That's just wrong!
Avatar took 17 days to crack 1 billion, that was beaten by Star Wars: The Force Awakens with 12 days. Avengers Infinity War did it in 11 days, and Avengers Endgame did it its opening weekend. don't think any film will top that.
Too bad all three were absolute horrid shyte! (okay, okay, Infinity war was alright)
rapid inflation may make that possible. at present rates 1 billion could become 10 ticket sales
With inflation on the way, they'll get that in an hour soon.
It's a brave person who bets against an unseen James Cameron movie. Nevermind several of them
I wonder how long it took for those films to make 1 billion dollars of Avatar time money, adjusted for inflation
I was wondering where Sarah Millican was going with her Russell Brand comment...
Combine
The Smurfs
Dances With Wolves
Fern Gulley
And
TRON
When Mock the Week had decent comedians.
Southpark got it right avatar is actually dances with smurfs.
never saw the first one, no intention of seeing another one, but the jokes are still funny
Any chance of some content made in the last 10 years please
Maybe it's because they are marking the fact the show has ended with some classic moments?
Maybe there are copyright issues getting anything later than this?
@@ivaneames4354 the main copyright issue they have on this channel is showing photographs, which often have to be blurred out. The official BBC channel has been sharing more recent clips from new episodes though.
@@merman1974 As you said, that's the official BBC chanel so they don't have to worry about copyright.
@@merman1974 the show has ended?? Such a shame, that’s some of the best content ever to be shown on TV 😔
bring back mock the week. It was one of the few things those bloody excues for road kill the BBC had on.
