Otherwise there will be skyscrapers everywhere but no water, no electricity, roads will be choked with traffic, in short life will be miserable.

Banks concerned are headed by politicians who demand their cuts and don't disburse timely loans. How does one account for these under the table payments in Society balance sheet? Secondly buyers prefer to buy flats from reputed Developers and not from unknown entities. Societies don't have marketing experience in real estate.
It is very simple to say 8.5% loan can be taken from recommendation bank however how to and who will pay the interest ...is society ix competent to pay crore of loan to bank?
