@@jaydee1738it is true.. If dru and Diana didn’t make it seem like tariq was going to take over, then when noma first asked did tariq get him green cards he could’ve simply said yes. The only reason he didn’t say yes was because right after tariq did that, noma tried to clip him over what the tejada family children came crying to her about, to make it even more unlucky for tariq, effie switched too which made what the tejadas saying more credible. Noma was like oh hell no he tried monet and they say he after my daughter? He outta there.. but again without dru and Diana, all this could’ve went right under her nose. Tariq wouldn’t have had to act go after her daughter none of that
Obi was murdered not because of Diana & Dru but because he found another way to get green cards so Noma no longer had the control she had over him before they got to New York & since she couldn't control him she had no use for him he also let Tariq get away & tricked Noma into taking Tariq's deal not to kill him even though he went after Anya
@uzzy1 Noma doesn't care about Monet she doesn't care about who shot her or why Noma wanted Tariq dead because Effie told her Tariq was after Anya so he could control what happens with Noma when he wanted out the game them lying on Tariq about Monet just gave her more ammunition to kill Tariq but it wasn't about them it was about Anya

Likewise, but let's be honest Emeka, the Igbo, excluding the part Obi called Noma a devil, was horrible. The only real Igbo, concerning the tone/pronunciations, that was spoken in this past episode was by Obi’s brother, Kene.
I was even surprised that Michael Ely pronounced Okeke correctly, which, in its syllable form “O-kay-kay”, compared to the incorrect form “O-key-key”.

I was disappointed in the Obi didn't;t have much character development in this show. However I was glad that Obi help Tariq and Brayden when he was helped with the green cards for his family. It was sad to see him get killed by Noma due to Dru's lies. I think it would be cool idea is if there is a hallucination of Obi taunting along with warning Noma for being reckless and irresponsible and keep reminding her that he was loyal where he even helped protect her from being caught by law enforcement. It would be a cool if a hallucination of Obi would say to Noma and Dru surprise motherfucker just like Doakes from Dexter

OBI fucked his own self up, i get it he doesnt live in america so he doesnt know the laws, but when he said obi was free to go obi was free to go and should have left, period. also commited no crimes so he could not be detained anyway. Getting green cards is not a crime. so this whole little story line felt badly rushed/written. felt obi would been way smarter than that and would have had at least basic understanding of usa laws.
What I can't figure out is why Noma never got those green cards for Obi's family? Why did it take Tariq to do so?
Obi was on a tight leash to Noma without the green cards Noma was tightening that leash with the cards Obi still had a bit of freedom... Dru just put a giant fuckin target on him and Noma with that move...
