Thank you pastors it was really nice sitting down and listen to you speaking on the judgement I pray that we are will be ready for that day day may God continue to bless you 3abn we're looking forward for that great and wonderful day.
Please announce the verse & then wait a little a little while so that non-pastors have time to get to that verse so we can be in step with you. It drives me crazy because your commentary is over before I get to the verse & I miss it!
The righteous are are judged according to their works..but what works?? That is where you are missing the point! Paul says in 1cor3:11-12"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;" 13 "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. " These are works of faith...matt7:24"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice(B) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” The rain and streams and the winds are a form of judgment to ones faith....if you've built nit in a literal way but spiritually your house on a sand expect a great fall...all the false teaching and doctrines upon which some of us have attempted to form a relation with God ..God will crush them and we will be shamed and embarrassed when they ate all burnt and done away with but we ourselves will be saved " yet so as by fire " Dont you understand this??
Hello Isaac, Something fascinating about the new covenant … Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” God wants to write His law on our hearts. We are saved by grace. No one has ever been saved by their works. God has only and always had one way to save mankind "the everlasting gospel" Do we still have sin in the world today? How does the Bible define sin? It says sin is lawlessness, breaking God's law. 1 John 3:4 It's clear from the Bible, Matthew 1:21 that Jesus came to save us from sin and he intends to, with our cooperation remove sin from our lives. He intends to give us victory over every sin that besets us. He will not leave us in the same mess He found us in. It's unbiblical to think God saves us and then leaves us to stay in bondage to sin. So if I know that stealing is a sin and I refuse to stop where does that leave me? In rebellion. Rev. 3:5 is clear, "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life…" A true saving relationship with Christ leads to a life of obedience to His commands and that includes His Ten Commandments. This is evidence of walking with Christ, not something we do to earn salvation. The Sabbath is a gift of resting in Christ, and the Bible gives us abundant evidence to pin point that day. The Scripture is also clear, there is another power that has attempted to change that day of rest and it will lead to a final choice for mankind in the end. Worship God according to His Commandments or Worship the beast on the day he has chosen. I hope that helps. Thanks for your kind response however i feel that you misunderstood me when i spoke about the works....i was not talking about the physical works of the law but the faith of Jesus Christ by which we are all saved..Paul is saying that the true gospel that should form the basis of our faith is the one that lifts up Christ..how do we lift uo Christ one may ask..we lift him up when we observe the gift of salvation apart from the works of the law.... You on the other side are mixing grace and law..you are saying that God wrote the ten commandments in our hearts...but that is wrong...the ten commandments are very much part of the entire law of moses..they are thee covenant..and the letters written in stones...2cor7..tells us that a letter kills but a spirit gives life...Jesus is that spirit which gives life..he is our faith and salvation..he is the quickening spirit..the law even the ten commandments is not of faith according to the bible...it kills it is a ministry of death written in stones.. It was a tutor bringing us to Christ...but after that faith has come and christ has been revealed there tutor is no longer needed.....for the spirit of Christ takes over our lives..in titus we read that grace enables us to say No to ungodliness and worldly passions..clearly the spirit law is superior to the natural law...a person who keeps the ten commandments cannot not depend on the grace of God to save them because they are already saving themselves by making sure that every letter in the ten is kept to avoid sinning..but the Just shall live by faith..Christ is our righteousness. .. You say that Christ came to save us from sin and with our cooperation he intends to remove it from our lives..i think that is unscriptural. ...here is what the bible teaches john6:44 "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." Joh 6:65 "And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father" So it cannot be true that God requires our cooperation to remove sin from our lives..if that were true them we could not be saved by grace alone through faith... In phillipians2:13 "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." the law was done away with in order to exclude our cooperation and efforts when christ saved. Our cooperation would have meant that we were saved by works. .no where in the scriptures is Christ asking us to respond by keeping the ten commandments in order to make it possible for him to save us...the work of saving of souls entirely depends on him alone...man is not even capable of responding except God drags him to Christ. ...the SABBATH LAW...is nolonger a requirement to those who live by faith..the sabbath was a shadow of Christ. .

Thank you for this wonderful study. You are all truly blessed.
Very true, the judgment is important and it is good news for the righteous too.
And it good news for the wicked too fir it is for such that the messiah came down..he came to sick and to find that which was lost.
I enjoyed this study.. thank you and God Bless
To whom should we confess our sins?
