I love this album. "Just so you remember" is hypnotizing and riveting. There's an intensity and urgency to Pusha's tone and lyrical prowess throughout the album that makes you sit up and listen. One of the most refreshing aspects of his music is that it's so deliberate; there's little ambiguity in his message and he's not afraid to articulate his own narrative in the most compelling of ways. There's a grimy, thumping undercurrent of unease and malice, and I thought that the overall production behind the vocals represented Push's story in a truly captivating way.
I enjoy the Ye vs Pharrell version of the album more than the original. There is a large distinction between the Ye and Pharrell songs, listening to the Ye tracks first and then ending on the Pharrell bangers make listening this already great album even better.

Kanye’s “when daddy’s not home” verse has some real profundity to it. The rate of a child’s success (college graduation, criminal record, etc) within families who stick together versus families who separate are pretty damning as to the truth behind the verse. These are measured statistics that have been around for a long time. Divorced parents garner the children in the crossfire: a 16% increase in behavioural problems; a 1.5 to 2 times increase in likelyhood of ending up in poverty, and engage in risky sexual behavior as they get older; have an 8% lower probability of completing high school, a 12% lower probability of college attendance, and an 11% lower probability of college completion. Children living in intact, nuclear families are about *half* as likely than children in step, blended, or one-parent families to have a mental disorder or need psychological help…
Will not deny that two parents in a household is better than a single (in this economy at least) but i do not buy the narrative pushed by so many trad nerds that boil down social issues to “no father figure” and act like nuclear family is some sort of proven only major way to raise a family. Not saying that was your intent or that whats you’re pushing, i just hear this sort of issue presented maliciously like that a lot
This is the best album since . Tyler’s . I will give this one 9/10 . He manage to spread one subject matter over the entire album . That’s just brilliant.
This album changed so much when I heard Pusha say that Pharell said he made him keep on The Joker movie… to remain in an intimate character for the album. First listen was a lil disappointing? 4 weeks of listening? It’s almost sitting on the list of album of the year.
As a producer I got used to always look for new drum samples and everything, but seeing what Pharell can do with what is essentially a very small selection of samples yet still sound fresh and interesting really inspired me. Pusha T's consistency far outweighs any miss on this record for me. His beat selection, his word play and confidence is so infectious that I will continue looking forward to any material he releases. This man don't miss.
This album is on repeat for me since it came out. Amazing work, Pusha outdone himself and I'm saying this consistently with each of his album releases lol
I like that I listened to this album again after listening to the interview on Drink Champs.. Pusha said he played The Joker on repeat and Pharrell kept pushing the character. It’s the lil understanding that made this record sound the different.
scrape it off is probably one of my favorite tracks from the record but i think that’s just because i don’t listen to a lot of other don toliver so i’m not quite sick of it yet
I really fw Scrape It Off-it’s definitely not his greatest lyrical showcase, but it does showcase something that it seems this whole album is meant to do which is his range. The beat didn’t need some crazy bars or intricate flows; I think Push adapted to this beat perfectly to where it was unique while being catchy and memorable with the “my boy” refrain. Also like how Uzi kind of sang and rapped, really a throwback to some of his older stuff like Uzi Vs. The World. The ethereal yet simplistic Pharrell production gave a perfect vibe, easily the most replayable song other than Brambleton which also fucking smacks. The whole thing is mint but I just thought this track needed to be bigged up too.
IAD is my Hip hop Album of the year. Push raps perfectly. The features are perfectly placed. The beats are perfect. The song length is perfect. The album length is perfect. OPEN AIR instrumental? Perfect! 10/10
@@levimoore5376 since 2020? Yea that’s fair. It is a really good album. Kendrick coming May 13th. You probably gonna have another one to add to that list

Ngl Kanye really Dragged the album down this time, his mixes are hard to listen to sometimes, especially next to Pharrell's polish. He needs to get his act together, it's not the first time either.
Kanye’s production was trash on this album compared to Pharell. Pharell has call my bluff which is easily the best song on the album. The only thing Kanye has is Diet Coke and thats just borrowing an old instrumental with clipse days and giving it some drums.
Uzi's verse is so devoid of substance tho. I like his delivery on the track but there's absolutely nothing there lyrically, and god damn that last bar is so cringe. Don's chorus is fire tho
Dope album, probably one of the best ones out till now this year. Personally liked Daytona better, but iad is still not bad album by any means. Specially the Kanye produced tracks are dope af

@@ryanandring2688 There’s more evidence on these statistics being relevant
Will not deny that two parents in a household is better than a single (in this economy at least) but i do not buy the narrative pushed by so many trad nerds that boil down social issues to “no father figure” and act like nuclear family is some sort of proven only major way to raise a family. Not saying that was your intent or that whats you’re pushing, i just hear this sort of issue presented maliciously like that a lot
I really hope that in his next project he'll reach out to griselda or freddie gibbs it fits him way more than don toliver and lil uzi
That 18 wheeler track with benny the butcher is on rotation for me always
This is the best album since . Tyler’s . I will give this one 9/10 . He manage to spread one subject matter over the entire album . That’s just brilliant.
You're one of the most honest music reviewer on here , love how detailed you're
When are you going to review that new Pusha T album? I'm getting impatient
This album changed so much when I heard Pusha say that Pharell said he made him keep on The Joker movie… to remain in an intimate character for the album. First listen was a lil disappointing? 4 weeks of listening? It’s almost sitting on the list of album of the year.
One of the Best rap albums of the year
that sample from tokyo drift just hits
listened to the whole thing 7+ times. at first i was like 'nice' but goddamn it gets better with time. insanely good album
Let’s be honest. It’s 9/10
The uzi track was okay and could have been left off the album.
I agree but that track lowkey keeps growing on me every time I listen to it. Everything else was amazing even the sequencing
I might be one of the only people who heavily fucks with the uzi track
@@Bpinator I LOVE THIS SONG. i start floating when i hear don toliver sing his hook
My favorite album so far this year.
Lion camouflaging as yellow flannel after eating yellow flannel.
The video for "Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes" better be produced by Hype Williams.
Let the Cokers Coke the Coke is the best song on the record imo, just ahead of Coke Prays For You
This album is on repeat for me since it came out. Amazing work, Pusha outdone himself and I'm saying this consistently with each of his album releases lol
I like Cudi's chorus. It's unique and intresting. Rock n Roll is one of the best songs on the album.
It’s one of the weaker songs fs. Wanted to love it but cudis chorus is really annoying
@@michaellopez112 I felt that way at first but it's grown on me
YEAH IM SAYING SOMETHING THEY WANT IT THE OLD WAYYY
I like that I listened to this album again after listening to the interview on Drink Champs.. Pusha said he played The Joker on repeat and Pharrell kept pushing the character. It’s the lil understanding that made this record sound the different.
scrape it off is probably one of my favorite tracks from the record but i think that’s just because i don’t listen to a lot of other don toliver so i’m not quite sick of it yet
Don Toliver is one of the best new artists out there.
Almost Dry > Girl I'm a Lesbian
The Lamvin line lives rent free in my head. 😂
Are there any rappers out there more consistently great than Push? People can give him shit about only rapping about coke but he does it so well
Anthany Fanta man
Andre Nickatina raps better about coke
@@kuppakassi Andre nickatinas best songs are better than or on the level with anything Pusha T has made, imo, but that's only like 4 or 5 songs
I Pray For You killed me. The history of Clipse and his brother’s lyrics “I might whisper in his ear ‘Bury Them All’”
IAD is my Hip hop Album of the year. Push raps perfectly. The features are perfectly placed. The beats are perfect. The song length is perfect. The album length is perfect. OPEN AIR instrumental? Perfect! 10/10
idk if this is too far but it's one of my favorite albums of the decade so far
11/10
@@levimoore5376 since 2020? Yea that’s fair. It is a really good album. Kendrick coming May 13th. You probably gonna have another one to add to that list
Did u hear billy woods' Aethiopes yet?

Review Weiland’s new album called Vices 🖖🏻
I'm having a hard time deciding which album is better Daytona or Its Almost Dry. They are both so good its feels almost impossible to pick just one.
It's Almost Dry >
I'd give Daytona an 8.5 and Almost Dry an 8. Both great albums
Bro he killed both. Lol they just fire ass moments in time
same! i would say it's almost dry has higher highs and feels more satisfying while daytona has a imaculate tight flow between tracks, making it more a cohesive project for that. both albums have great replayability and are 9/10 for me.
pusha it's just incapable of missing at this point, dude has bars for days 🔥
It’s almost dry is his solo masterpiece
Ngl Kanye really Dragged the album down this time, his mixes are hard to listen to sometimes, especially next to Pharrell's polish. He needs to get his act together, it's not the first time either.
Kanye’s production was trash on this album compared to Pharell. Pharell has call my bluff which is easily the best song on the album. The only thing Kanye has is Diet Coke and thats just borrowing an old instrumental with clipse days and giving it some drums.
Idk why, but that Rock n Roll hook just HITS for me. I love it
tbf Cudi is known for his catchy hooks
Rock n roll was my fav on the album personally
This album and Daytona are both so good! Only time will tell which one I like more
At least 4-5 songs I heard that felt like instant classics
If Push was pushing p instead of T, it’d be a 10
“Is this how you do it guys?!”
I cant hate on "Scrap It Off". Its such a guilty pleasure with Don Toliver on the chorus and Uzi went of with the punchlines.
Uzi's verse is so devoid of substance tho. I like his delivery on the track but there's absolutely nothing there lyrically, and god damn that last bar is so cringe.
Don's chorus is fire tho
malice did his thing. fantastic closing verse
I would kill to see a Pusha T/Madlib collab album.
Dope album, probably one of the best ones out till now this year.
Personally liked Daytona better, but iad is still not bad album by any means. Specially the Kanye produced tracks are dope af
Glad to see me and Fantano finally agree on something
this record is absolutely stellar, pulled so many stank faces while listening. on par if not better than daytona and that's hard to top
I loved how the record felt nostalgic but still modern. Overall push and Pharrell can do no wrong. I am so happy to say that i was not disappointed and the album was well worth the wait as a push fan.
Push will invent a new cocaine one day
"Just so you remember" has these drums that sound like a movie scene that was done in a single shot like in "Good Fellas", it has a strange momentum to it.
Just So You Remember has me in a fearful trance every time I listen
The song sampled on dreaming of the past is the donny Hathaway cover of the song
call my bluff is my favorite track. idk why just the way he rhymes and the whole feel is really cool
Thank you. No one else talking about this one. First time I’ve ever heard Push using a different voice/persona
This is one of my favorite albums of the last couple yesrs
"I got that Fantano on deck, its a 10." - Pusha T
The beat production on this album is unmatched. Two legends with the resumé to prove it (Pharrell / Ye) 🔥
