this song just brings me so much comfort. i have really bad anxiety and i don’t think any person or thing has ever made me feel as safe and understood as this song does. things aren’t really easy for me right now and i have a really hard time opening up to people because i’m scared of things coming out wrong. i always seem to mess things up when i try to share how i feel and when i finally gather the courage to talk to my friends and family it’s like i can never explain things properly for them to understand so i have taught myself throughout my childhood and as i’ve grown up to keep things to myself to try and avoid conflict. but what scares me even more than being misunderstood is that whenever someone comes into my life and they actually make me happy or seem to understand how im feeling even though im not great at explaining it, they always leave. they always walk out and im tired of taking so much out of myself to share something with someone and have them just leave me behind. i feel so alone a lot of the times. this song just makes me feel understood completely and it’s the most freeing feeling ever. it makes me feel less alone and it’s honestly bittersweet but i just want to thank you so much for putting this song out. i really need it and i’m sure that many other listeners feel the same. this is a true work of art ❤️
This was in my playlist on Spotify last 2017, and up until now I still put it in some of my playlists and come back to it. I just love the subtleties of this song. People use big, grandeur words to describe things, which I am rarely fond of, but the mundanity of things in this song made it so special, and real, and it makes me feel warm but also vulnerable in ways that is the same with what the character in the song is feeling (or so I think he's feeling). Ultimately, what I am saying is that this is one of my favorite songs, ever! It is one of the few songs that really reaches me. Love from the Philippines.
Listening to this songs make me wanna cry. It feels like someone is saying goodbye or I’m going somewhere far or I visit my hometown and everyone I know are not there anymore. All my friends moved to other cities. Every time I listen to this song I got those mixed up feelings. And ask myself for the reason to continue to exist and what’s the point when everyone we treasure is gonna leave anyway and do you live long enough you’d see yourself all alone. I have a happy family and a good life a good job. But this feeling of emptiness that eating me alive. Tearing me apart slowly. Its suck to have this feelings. You alive but you feel so dead. But yeah I love this song. It really touch my heart. Sorry for being dramatic couldn’t just help it.
