Quick enough for today's driving and impressive on fuel. I've had my mk 8 GTD for 6 months which replaced my Mk7 GTD. Overall if you can forgive the interior it is an improvement over the Mk7.
I am driving the 2013 golf 7 gtd of my dad with 300k km. It is still going so smooth. Enjoy the car.

You should test out the Alltrack cause it has the same powertrain as this GTD.
Der Golf 8 gtd hat halt eine extreme Tacho Voreilung 250 sind echte ca 235 gps. Erreicht habe ich damals 253 waren 238 gps ein Kollege hat es auf gps 240 geschafft aber er hat ewig gebraucht die gesamte gerade vom Testgelände!

Ich finde er hört sich sogar cool an für einen Diesel (ja ich weiß, der Sound ist künstlich 😅). Da würde mich Mal ein Vergleich gegen den Ceed GT interessieren, quasi Benziner gegen Diesel.
