Most fun thing to do in 2042. Also fun to deploy with ammo crate as Casper ,and have a friend strap c5 on your drone and tell them when to detonate and they have infinite c5. No kills for the drone flyer, but hearing your friend laugh their ass off is worth it. Quite honestly hunting down clumps of enemies while your friend is giggling is possibly more fun.
Funniest thing is that the C5 Drone isnt a new concept; Star Wars Battlefront 2004 had it as part of the sniper loadout, with the balance being that the drone had a limited range/depleting health as a countermeasure to stop it from being overpowered. Best thing they could do is balance it with a flashing LED and limiting its range, and add some sort of drone countermeasures like a placeable jammer.
A campers nightmare?! Its a camper's dream, no longer must we sit and wait for someone to come to us! Now we can go to them without being seen and at no risk to our body and our kdr 😎 long live the c5 drones

@@arzatres how is it broken when a tank can kill like 10 ppl just sitting up on a mountain? I don’t want vehicles needed at all but ways to deal with them need to stay.
@@rainy3527 i agree that ways of dealing with the tanks need to stay but there is a difference between this method and the others. You see when someone wants to destroy your tank without the drone C5 than the player needs to get close and C5 you which is balanced because you can take out the player but you can’t take out the drone when you are in the tank. And the player is safe somewhere far.

It takes 4 m5 rockets to kill a tank, you are probably a tank player, would you just sit back and let someone shoot 4 rockets at you? I think it takes around 30 whole seconds of straight reload time, in that time you are 1) moving in the tank, 2) hiding and repairing, 3) or shooting at the rocketeer. It is insanely difficult for infantry to actually kill a tank. Especially the tiny ones. C5 drone makes it so that tanks have some type of fear when entering only infantry zones. I’ve seen tanks get so many kills in one sitting (sitting on a hill) where it is almost impossible to kill them because if you try C5 your most likely just going to get blown up before you get even close. Now do I think tanks should be nerfed? No. But if they don’t buff rocket launchers to deal more damage or reload faster or disable easier then keep this option in the game.
Was wondering why every rush sever had drone disable deposited being a nice xp farm. It's not because it this it's because it should be patched *right?* but that you can ride the drone. This lil guy can't stay outta trouble and he's my fav specialist
I noticed the same thing. I believe it was patched. The more C5 you put on it the slower it gets and 1 is pretty much tolerable or it gets shot down quick.
I dare you if videos like this will get it nerfed.. Its the only way to contantly counter those overpowered ground vehicles that dont need any skill to be used at all
C4 is a bit weak in my opinion. I can’t count how many times you get five or six guys bunched up in a corner and you can’t even kill them with three sticks of C4. When you put the drone in the elevator it should’ve killed every last one of them.
No one pays attention to them compared to older BF games like the UAV or MAV. So far the only way you can get shot down is if someone notices you up close or if there is an active turret or robo dog around but with skill you can maneuver around their shots.

7 months later and it still works, i got a double tank kill with 1 Drone attack today

You have to place them in a way where its facing towards them, or just place the explosives under the drone and drop down below.
I have once haven't shot one of the drones down yet it's so small
