I understand what you mean though, about the shag rug looking more casual than the low pile/oriental rugs. Your home is beautiful all around! I love the tile backsplash in the kitchen. I also like that you used different stone on the LR and FR fireplaces. Too many lovely details to list. We have similar tastes, but I think I would have been so overwhelmed with all of the options. And I got the the movie theater a lot 💗💗😂😂 and it’s finally warm in Connecticut it’s warm all week thank god. I watched a quiet place as well with my friend and I was scared to watch it but it wasn’t scary at all! I’m a Star Wars and Marvel lover cause of my brother

If you're eating a lot of those, Ken, try cutting them out for awhile and see if you start losing again. Same with artificial sweeteners like flavored waters or diet sodas.

I believe Ken or Candi had said in one of their building videos that they put in counters that you could cut on and didn't need a cutting board. That's why they liked them.
Because they have granite and or counter tops that won't scratch
