Don’t keep your wipes wet, it increases the chance of growth of mold. Spray clean water on the wipes as you use them. Simple and clean. Cut up receiving blankets, they have enough texture to grab the dirty and clean well. Thrift stores: 25 cents a receiving blanket; 1 blanket = 16 wipes.
I personally just use wipes with water from a peri bottle. Is there a real need for soap if you make sure you wipe everything off your baby? I’ve been using them for 3 months now and everything seems good to me!
This video was perfect and just what I needed, thank you! My husband is actually getting out of the military very soon and I never thought about cutting up is old T-shirt’s for cloth wipes. Great idea!
You need a carrier oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, etc. to dilute tea tree oil, water will not dilute it, it'll make it worse. Because you add coconut oil in your solution it makes it okay, but never just use an oil with water, it will not dilute it.
Samantha clearly stated that in the video oil was used. I'm pretty sure she was just clarifying the incorrect statement of diluting tea tree oil with water for those who might omit a carrier oil.
@@kellybisset7329 I'm going to assume it's 1/4 cup solution and 1.75 cup water. Verbally, she said, "Fill the rest with distilled water," and had edited the video to specify it was a 2 cup measuring cup, otherwise I think she would've specified to fill it up to 1 cup. Hope this helps! 😊
I see I’m 4 years late, but did you find that this worked for you and your son in the long run? Like no or less rashes? Was this practical? I’m looking to switch to save money but I want to know I can do it before I do.
Hello, can you talk about the alva baby diapers that you use and if you like them and other brands that are less expensive than the more known brands. Great vídeos !!
Thank you 🙏🏽 helped so much, didn’t vuelve the “ingredients” (toxins!) many wipes have in the market /: due to preserving the wipes but stilll horrible 😤
The same way you would travel with cloth diapers! You'll need a wet bag to toss the dirty ones into. If there's any poo on them, toss it in a toilet before storing. If you're able to rinse them in something, I'd do that too. If you can't, then as soon as you get home make sure to rinse them before tossing them in your preferred laundry bin/washer (whichever you happen to be doing). For bringing along a solution, just put it in a travel-sized spray bottle. Pretty easy, especially if you already cloth diaper!
It's just dat the factory dat produces wips should continue making more wipes dishes Dan in plastic BcUz the kids remove the protection head for the parents choices wips .Which

Samantha Cottam she stated she uses coconut oil
lavender and teatree don't need a carrier but for babies yes I would and she did.

@@ambycakes7103 Tea tree 100% needs a carrier oil! It’s a hot oil and can cause chemical burns!
Great video thank you so much will try this soon ❤❤❤
thank you great video. This tp shortage is crazy. we are switching to these from now on.
Not really a shortage. Just people overbuying.
Can you make a complete tutorial of the cloth wipes bids? Please I’ll appreciate it :)
Where do you spray your diapers and wipes at? Laundry tub? Bath tub?
As an ex daycare worker what I never understood is why people who cloth diapered didn’t use cloth whips

Great video! Great ideas! And you are so beautiful! God bless you for sharing so much to help future moms! Great job!
You're adding 1.75 cup water with 1/4 cup solution or just 3/4 cup water when making actual wipes?
Has anyone worked out the answer to this, as I would also like to know 🤗

Is that a 2-cup measuring cup you're holding? You just say "fill with distilled water up to here."
She said she does 1/4c
Well done. Very informative. Thank you so much!
Can you buy distilled water and just boil it and add the bits?
I’ve done that before and had no issues.
Hi there. Love the video! Where did you get your cloth wipes from? I would love to buy some

I've never delved into cloth diapers but I love making homemade wipes!

Can you use Johnson's lavender oil gel as the oil part?

And big no no to lavender oil for babies, for any kid for that matter. It smells amazing but it will mess up their hormones.
If we can use the old skivvy shirt for field day, why not. Smart move.

you need to research essential oils better. water can not dilute oil of any kind. oil dilutes oil.
Just use washes
