I started watching you and I saw all your vids
The reason spawns increase with the string is because of ‘pack spawning.’ I believe it makes the game think you are spawnproofing spawnable blocks, so the game increases spawns on spawnable blocks, but in reality you aren’t spawnproofing anything that could previously spawn mobs on

@@Blaze-em2win its right and wrong it is because of pack spawning but its because they try and spawn on the string then they cant so they move towards the platforms i think i could be wrong tho

Disappointed that after spawn-proofing the caves and adding string that you did not show us how well it improved the slime farm. Otherwise awesome as always!
spawn proofing makes it soo less mobs spawn elsewhere and the string is for pack spawning (go search it im not very intellectual)

im pretty sure it makes the mobs (slimes) think they can walk on it because their AI makes them think its a solid block.

I'd add iron golems in the walls so slimes don't stay in the platforms to increase the production rate

im actually building one just now like his plus golem in walls, i saw it somewhere else but i cant remember where
all mobs randomly wander to any solid blocks around, the platform they are standing on is made out of slabs so slimes have no choise but to go and fall to their doom

i absolutely love the design you used for your slime farm. the walls look like a giant slime jumped down the hole & created these splotches of slime/goo. also, discovered your channel yesterday & i’m glad it did, keep up the great work ❤️
I LOVE the pallet of the hallways (idk if you call them that) but I think it would be even cooler if you would add like a block from were it's leading to, for the slime farm maybe add some slimeblocks in!

I honestly don't watch much Minecraft content but your scale of ambition is beyond admirable and very fun to watch :)
You should add iron golem cages in the walls so that the upper platforms can see there's a golem and jump towards them faster, this would highly increase the spawn rates

Hey, a really nice video and I really like how your farm turned into a really nice design. I don't really know if this works but wouldn't it be faster if you put an iron golem in the wall at each layer so the slimes will be angry to them and fall down faster? That also would improve the spawn rate so more slimes to kill.

for a suggestion with changing the like wood-moss-glow berry design, maybe try messing around with other types of things too instead of just the classic spruce and oak look. maybe something like jungle and aciaca, idk. it looks really nice either way

Minecraft needs to add a renewable way to get sand. The wiki says that Sand is renewable but the only renewable way to get it is a travelling merchant, which really shouldn't count.

You could put iron golems on the sides of the platforms inside of the wall to attract the slime and make them fall down. i saw some people do this and it improves the rates a bit. Also the design is impeccable
awesome video bro! I think it would be great if you built a gold farm next. they are very good, and depending on which one you build, you could get tons of xp. mine gives me over 100,000 xp per hour. i build the ilmango gold farm, and its over powered!

within the green slime spots on the walls you should put a few slime blocks with glowstone behind it so the slime patches glow at night and look cooler

Slimes will attack players on sight, but also Iron Golems, so you can use iron golems to get them to the edges faster.

You need to use the farm with chunk render distance set to 2. That gets you better rates.
If you’d like to improve rates you’ve gotta put iron golems between layers on the sides to lure the slimes off the platforms
adding golems to the 1 side on every 2 layers would drasticly improve the spawn rates

Honestly, using that tool to outline spawning area with a sphere, and having a light level indicator was pretty smart, it basically cut down the time it would take to do it by eye. Work Smarter, Not Harder.
