6:30- Dasamsa has four karakas: sun, mercury, Jupiter, Saturn
Sun- status, authority, power, respect, position.
Saturn- your effort and labour, your ability to work hard.
Jupiter- your growth and intelligence related to your career.
Mercury (most important)- skills, the ability to learn, managerial skills, communication, the enjoyment of doing business.
11:22- any planet in the 10th house shows what will make you successful.
The next two important houses are the 6th and 7th house. The 7th is the 10th from the 10th (business and business interaction). The 6th is 9th from the 10, showing support for the career, what protects the career.
13:10- look to see if there are more planets in the 6th house or 7th house. If in the 6th, you'll labour for others. If in the 7th, you'll work for yourself. If it's the same number, look at the strength of the planets and use the dasas.
4th house shows the office or workshop. Where the person works. If there's malifics, not a good office. Exalted planets, they have an incredible office.
17:20- debilitated planets in the D-10 are good for making money.
General note: look at your fifth house for getting a better job (the 8th from the 10th = transformation of the job). A strong house loses a job for a better job. A weak house loses a job.

@ Freedom : 7th lord(Sun) in 6th house in D*10 with Ketu in 7th : Could this be an indication of undertaking a one-man business like a single investor or/and working like an employee and being a co-owner of the same enterprise simultaneously? Like a chef working in a restaurant or an Analyst in a SEO? The Asc lord of D-10 Saturn sits in 1st in Aquarius with Rahu and Mercury which makes 1st house stronger than 6th and 7th house. I would like to know if my line of analysis in interpreting the placements is :
1. Way off
2. Partially coherent
3. Correct

What if all Kendra lords in first house
Likely a lot of concern with career (if your chart is rectified properly) and your own path in these regards. More info would be needed for more details.

Exalted Mars with ketu in 1st house Capricorn & Saturn and Rahu in 7th house cancer, sun and mercury in the 5th house taurus, Venus and moon in 12th house sagittarius..... it's so hard to come to a conclusion. All houses have equal weightage....and it looks like not good for business huh? D-1 ascendant is Capricorn as well, with saturn in 2nd house and (10th lord) Venus in 4th house aries with exalted sun and mercury in D1

May I please know what happens if in D10 chart, exalted Mars and Saturn are present in 7th house in Capricorn and Jupiter in 10th house. Does this give inclination/scope towards business? Also there is Mercury in 6th... Thank you

Soniya Yes you can do business if you want. If it had been Mercury Mahadasha which is in your 6th, mercury would have pushed you towards Job. A more holistic analysis needs to be done to suggest you this with confidence.

Also Mercury is in my 6th house in birth chart too in libra..
And saturn lord of 10th in 8th.
This somehow creates circumstances which i think force me to do a job.. I was in a job for few years but left it.
You'd want to make sure your chart is properly rectified before using divisional charts to make decisions with. In fact knowing the divisions well is one thing that can help with rectification. If there are heavy malefics in the 7th it can actually create issues if a person goes into work for themselves though there might still be a pull in that direction, pending on the 6th house.
