Yes 🙌 I don’t feel the need to upgrade because I don’t need the 40 mp or the fast autofocusing from the XH2s. The xt3 is still serving me well as we head into 2024😊 thanks again tongue 👅
Yep, used it on a photo shoot today, no plans to upgrade either... a new camera needs to do something that adds revenue to me, not just costs me money... If I get an X-T5 that costs me £1699 and would not increase my revenue at all. Granted if I needed another camera, it would be an X-T5 (we have 1 X-T5 in our company currently, but that is used when near 100% hit rate is needed, and the photographer that uses it also shoots wildlife, so it works for him)
I’ve have a sliver and black xt-3. I’ve considered upgrading every time a new xt model comes out, but the xt-3 is way more than capable for my needs, and the majority of people out there. The camera is a perfect balance of beginner to professional photographer. It’s going to continue to be my primary camera for many years to come. 🤙🏻
Since 1977 I’ve owned around 45+ cameras, from film SLRs to every iteration of digital cameras including medium format, full frame, cropped, compact and 4/3rds, all within a freelance professional career - the X-T3 sits on top of the pile for user experience and sheer quality. Still using and enjoying. This video is spot on! 👌👍🤠
XT3 is an awesome camera. If I broke my current one, I'd buy it again, if that tells you anything. The firmware updates + new newer lenses absolutely keep it in the running IMO.
I love my X-T3 and is much more than enough! The photographer takes the picture, not the camera. We allow ourselves to be dictated by the market... always having to have the latest.
I bought my X-T3 late in 2019. Until then I used an X70 and an X-E2. Wow! I loved it from the first day! The evf! The handling and feel! The look! And I am still using it. At some point I came into wildlife photography and I bought the 100-400mm tele lens with the converter. I am not content with the quality of the pictures at 400mm or 560mm, very often mushy. For a long time i thought it's my fault but meanwhile I think it's the gear. Therefore I am dreaming of the X-H2s but until now I couldn't afford it. But besides this, for every other use cases - which are the most - I still love taking pictures with my X-T3. I even still love the pictures my X-E2 produces with the old 16mp sensor and the 35mm1.4. I just hate the evf... But it's my X100x surrogate, especially with the 27mm pancake. And i still haven't sold my X70 even though I not actually using it. It's the camera which taught me my first photography lessons. I still love her... I haven't ever used anything else than Fuji...
Xt3 is still one of the great cameras out there imo. I've been using it for the past 3 years for cinematography and photo, even now when I have access to "better" cameras I sometimes choose it over others. It's even better with vintage lenses. Looking to upgrade now because I need more dynamic range in some situations and the lack of log preview or exposure tools on it is annoying. Also can't really go higher than 1250 iso for videos, but otherwise it's incredibly good for it's price range.
I was in the times to buy my first mirrorless camera and was doing a research and after alot of reading and watching videos i was about to keep my phone away and saw a fujifilm xt3 camera and within few minutes made a decision, feeling so so grateful about this Great Fujifilm XT3.. ❤❤ As a DP owning a camera i love this more and more..
Pretty bang on! I picked up the X-T3 to renew my love for photos back in 2018 and it’s still the camera I use for all my personal stuff and it’s still my favourite camera. Only reason I never use professionally is to keep the love and a separate ergonomic feeling to my day-to-day gear. Battery life is a bit of a bummer but being so small it’s not hard to fit a few of those in the pocket.
X-H1 and X-T3 are the perfect cameras for beginners and even still many pro's on a budget imo. You get 90% of the features as the newer models, and more or less the same image quality (ignoring resolution). Rocking a X-Pro 3 and x-h1 atm
Love my xT3. I’ve been using it for weddings and I did my first wedding video this year. Used the 18-55 and I have no complaints. I’m used to back button focusing so I used that and manual focus through most of it. I don’t trust auto focus on any system lol being a control freak I have to be the one doing the focus haha. But it’s a great camera and I love working with the files. Even thinking of adding a xh-1 as a b cam instead of upgrading. Either that or another xT3. They’re amazingly cheap for what you get from it. Paired with the 33 1.4, I haven’t used anything else for photos this year and I got the 33 in January.
Yesssss, I am still using my X-T3, about which I also made a vid when I bought it in 2022 - I think it is still a great camera, with a lot of potential, as you mentioned in your video. It is so underrated piece of gear in 2023 - can't wait on the X-T3 hype in 2024 ;)
The X-T3 is the camera I use. Even today it's really more camera than I know how to use. I've only ever played with video on it once. Still learning that little game. But, it's such a good camera for photography. There are only two things that I can say are annoying. First, the battery life. Secondly, the grip. My camera was bought barely used and it came with the Fuji non battery grip and several extra batteries. That is a huge help. Nice overview and explanation of this really good camera. Have a great week!
I have the silver xt-3 and I love it! Shoots great photos honestly its crazy. even with it being apsc. This camera really makes you WANT to take photos. Used it for professional work at concerts and it works great for my needs. That xh2s though👀
Honestly if you’re doing street, travel, landscapes, family, etc. photography for personal use or social literally any xtrans mirrorless camera ever made is good enough.
If only there were more channels like this one, giving honest and not only sponsored opinions. XT3 together with Viltrox 27mm f1.2 would produce almost the same image quality as a full frame camera. Original, new battery grip can be purchased for 120 dollars. Xf 18-55 is one of the best video lenses, also stabilized. Autofocus after fw 4.0 is perfectly reliable. Buffer size is more than enough even with 11 fps. Build quality is top notch. F log with 10bit is crazy good with plenty of possibilities for post processing.
I somehow got this camera in 2019 for $720. A rental website was selling it off and they ran a 20% of sale on top of it. I think they only rented it out once or twice. Incredible value. I use it mainly for video and have attached an Anker battery to the video rig. That solves the battery issue completely. For stills I still use the small batteries but keep the Anker and a cable around if I'm going to be out all day. It's almost too much of a camera for video. The image is almost too sharp with the 26mp that I blur my footage just a tad in post.
My fist SLR wa Fuji ST605N (1976) It took more than 10.000 pics and stili working. My today's favorite between more than 14 digital cameras (leica CL, Nikon D750, Olympus Pen f etc) is clearly with a difference the Fujifilm XT-3 it has the perfect balance to satisfy both the amateur with big expectations and the professional who wants clear and reliable dial buttons. Perfect range of lenses also!!! ☀☀☀☀☀ (5 to 5 stars) See them in Optical limits.
I use the XT3 and I like it. The autofocus can be maddening, especially if paired with the wrong lens (56!). I would rather it missed by a mile but it just seems to miss by a fraction giving you almost usable, mushy shots. If the subject isn't too quick you have to put it in manual + bbf + peaking to guarantee great focus. The buffer is also a kick in the balls. Definitely sniffing around the xt5 for the AF and IBIS.
The IBIS and internal 10 bit 4:2:2 became a big deal for me honestly. It’s why I got the XT5. With my XT3 I always needed my external recorder. I have a minimalist approach to photography/video now, to use less gear.
Hey yeah: I'm still rocking two of them and I'm superhappy with it. For eventwork the screen is perfect. For video I manually focus anyway, so I don't need tracking. And I now have ten or so batteries, so I never run out of juice. And I love the looks of it: Most sexy camera ever :)
I love my X-T3, but I'm fucking jealous of all the cool new film simulations all the cool kids are getting with their newer cameras! I mean, I only really use two... but it would be fun to experiment once in a while, dammit! Mainly that Bleach Bypass one and Nostalgic Negative. But even if I had them I'd probably still stick to my main two!
I see someone mention that the lack of IBIS, is that a concern when all I have ver shot is film? The only stabilization I have ever used has been in my phones.
Good video. But 5 or 6 batteries for 1 day of shooting?! The most I have used is 3. I think you could have clarified that statement - are you talking about stills only, video shooting or a mix of both? Certainly for stills only shooting I am perplexed how anyone would need 6 batteries for 1 day of shooting with the T3, absolutely not my experience
I’m rocking my trusty ol’ Nikon D5100 and it’s time to upgrade, I’ve been looking at the X-T3 as it still seems be really good bang for buck in the second hand market, I was looking at the Sony a7 iii but it’s twice the price.

Man I’m just getting into this. I bought the XS20 and I’m in love. But obviously I’m saving up for what might come next. I’m staying with Fuji. I get the weather sealing? But what are the benefits of having a dual SD slot? What’s the next camera I should look at? XH2? Thanks for responding man, love your content
hi. im in the edge between xs10 and xt3 used market. what do you think autofocus bt the two? kinda half and half. ibis not an issiue since I will get gimbal. thanks
How are you able to upload those portrait photos with such clear resolution when I import my portraits from my X T3 into my computer they become blurry when I send over email or text. Do I need adobe Lightroom to export photos in the highest quality or watt?
Had a X-T3 back when they came out. Sold it to get a Sony A7RV. I missed to the X-T3 so much I bought another one last week. Bought the 100-400 (150-600) to go with it. I think it will do well for bird photography. I also love it for street photography. I with you that it is a great little camera.
Its only worth upgrading if ure doing video, then again if youre doing video Sony, Canon or Lumix would probably be a better choice with the full frame. For stills only a used XT-3 is a phenomenal choice.
Honestly speaking, sir. I don't know the criteria they are using to measure camera DOX marks. My Fujifilm image quality and video productions produce better results than my a7iii. I'm pleased with the performances of my Fujifilm video and still result. I have sold my Sony a7iii, I was a Sony diehard shooter before. Fujifilm needs a new Fujinon 16-55 or rather 16-60 f2.8 with 5stop ois that will optimise with all the camera for video and for still. Let Fujifilm company be the first to produce 16-60 2.8 lens in history.
I still use my xt-1 ❤😂 was thinking about getting the xt-3 but the images I see are not that much better.. so better of getting a lens in place of an other body.
I love mine, but it is getting to me the amount of soft images I get of my kids running about. The autofocus is not great for that. I keep looking over the fence at the R8 or Nikon ZF and wonder if that would be better, given the XT5 isn’t anywhere near as nicely built as the XT3 and the AF still not amazing.
I have an XT3 and a Z6. Nikon has probably the best ibis there is, it's magical. BUT when I shoot my Fuji I wanna go for a filmic non-perfect look, than I think a little wobble makes it look organic. Nothing I'd want with a paying customer tho.

Agree, 100 years people shoot pictures and we admire them today
Just got one last week. And I am enjoying it!
Aye enjoy!
Thanks for this review. I just got mine today

I had both the X-T3 & X-T4 and decided to keep the 3. It's a great camera and the size and weight provides what I need.

I’m about to buy one now. With the xf56mm12. This kit with my x100v will do a nice combo
I'm planning to shoot my feature film on Fujifilm XT3
Just bought 1 month ago, used unit and I love it without regards
That’s amazing
its 100% woth it, with all the improvements fuji has made since its realease and its price. its great

You’re not gonna like the XT5’s buffer 😅
depressing, how can buffering still be a thing in 2023? I like my buffers like I like my mamosas, bottomless@@Iamtongue
I love my X-T3 and adding the battery grip is great when using for video. Lack of IBIS is the only negative but you just work around it
Totally agree
Love My XT3 💯
I ❤️ my XT3
The IBIS and internal 10 bit 4:2:2 became a big deal for me honestly. It’s why I got the XT5. With my XT3 I always needed my external recorder. I have a minimalist approach to photography/video now, to use less gear.
Ya I would like to do the same with my approach haha
Hey yeah: I'm still rocking two of them and I'm superhappy with it. For eventwork the screen is perfect. For video I manually focus anyway, so I don't need tracking. And I now have ten or so batteries, so I never run out of juice. And I love the looks of it: Most sexy camera ever :)
I see it as the perfect travel camera. Great photo and video. Small and compact
I’m about to buy one what do you guys think is a fair price for a good one with kit lens ?
I would take Xt2 all day long. Made in Japan. Honestly feels nicer than the xt3. Also prefer the t2 sensor.
Yeah, but that AF.. depends if you need it I guess.
I have two of them 😀 Not need a new model. works still very well
Very nice!
I love my X-T3, but I'm fucking jealous of all the cool new film simulations all the cool kids are getting with their newer cameras! Thanks for the incredible information. Can you tell me what Camera and what lens you use for your UA-cam video set-up like this video? Thanks
The fujifilm XH2s and the viltrox 13mm f1.4!
Still have the T3 and T5 !
Can you save custom WB along with the film recipes in XT3?
I’m rocking my trusty ol’ Nikon D5100 and it’s time to upgrade, I’ve been looking at the X-T3 as it still seems be really good bang for buck in the second hand market, I was looking at the Sony a7 iii but it’s twice the price.
xt3 would be the best bang for the buck!
I got an X-T2 a few years back and now that I'm doing more video, I'm looking at the X-T3.
My EVF has burn-in, so the new one would be a huge upgrade, as well as the new video modes, not to mention the new AF, usb-c charging, and bluetooth for the new Fuji app (the xt2 was an absolute nightmare to use wirelessly.)
I'm never after the latest greatest, but the greatest camera that's been proven great over time is the way to go.
You think this is worth the upgrade? I'm kind of convincing myself. lol
Yes the XT3 is probably the best bang for your buck.
Hey, would you recommend this camera now for concert photography? I have viltrox 33mm 1.4, with x-t100 but it’s sooo slow at focusing in the dark, is x-t3 better in this?
the XT3 would be a bit better.
@@Iamtongueand would you recommend something else in this price range for low light?
I'm still hesitant on getting the 56mm since I feel really comfortable using my 33mm for detail and portrait shots.
WIll you be trying out the new Sigma 10-18 2.8?
Nah, it’s not something I am interested. I’m a small time creator whatever I get I usually buy them and resell them to make content for you guys. So I have to be wise with the purchase I make.
Im rocking an X-T1 in 2024 🎉
SHEEEESH!!
The Viltrox 27mm f1.2 helps 😅
Except for the battery, XT-3 is very highly capable. I still use it.
Do you see any difference between xt5 and xt3 in colors and contrast?
Yes. Colors are richer and vibrant on the xt5.
Any camera that was produced in the last 10 years is still worth it. It all depends on the person’s usage. I am still even using the XH1, same generation of XT3.
Yes i totally agree. XH1 is the same generation as the XT2
Hey bro, what are your thoughts on the XS20 as it compares to the XT4 and XT3.
love it! But you're missing dual sd cards slots and weather sealing.
How's this camera comparing with canon r50 or sony a6400?
Haven’t tried the canon so I can’t really comment
hi. im in the edge between xs10 and xt3 used market. what do you think autofocus bt the two? kinda half and half. ibis not an issiue since I will get gimbal. thanks
get the xt3 then. 4k60 10 bit colour
How are you able to upload those portrait photos with such clear resolution when I import my portraits from my X T3 into my computer they become blurry when I send over email or text. Do I need adobe Lightroom to export photos in the highest quality or watt?
I export in 4k, you're going to have to play around with your export settings. Any tutorial out on youtube should help.
back then i was torn bet this and a7iii. well i choose fullframe its my 1st Ff experience coming from canon 550d and 60d.
I remember the sony a7iii coming out and then smoking it's competition! haha
I don't like the display of T4. T5: no battery grip available! 😖 So I still use my T3. 🤩
I hear that
Had a X-T3 back when they came out. Sold it to get a Sony A7RV. I missed to the X-T3 so much I bought another one last week. Bought the 100-400 (150-600) to go with it. I think it will do well for bird photography. I also love it for street photography. I with you that it is a great little camera.
I still use the X-T3 for my video works for corporate client haha.
ya man it's still good!

Merci, de très beaux clichés. Bravo
I still use my xt-1 ❤😂 was thinking about getting the xt-3 but the images I see are not that much better.. so better of getting a lens in place of an other body.
Exactly haha image quality ain’t gonna get much better. Your old camera is still good
I love mine, but it is getting to me the amount of soft images I get of my kids running about. The autofocus is not great for that. I keep looking over the fence at the R8 or Nikon ZF and wonder if that would be better, given the XT5 isn’t anywhere near as nicely built as the XT3 and the AF still not amazing.
The latest cameras with Ai chips will help with that. Unfortunately Fuji is still a step slow behind it's competitor.
Would you buy XT3 or XS10?
Depends. 4k60 10 bit recording -xt3 or handgrip with ibis xs10
03:43 what? I have recorded exactly 38min with an 64GB SD card
IMO it's Fuji last great camera
I love my silver&black XT3 Body’s ❤️ Amazing value 🙏
i agree. it's a great value now!
Main reason I wouldn’t buy - no ibis!
I have an XT3 and a Z6. Nikon has probably the best ibis there is, it's magical. BUT when I shoot my Fuji I wanna go for a filmic non-perfect look, than I think a little wobble makes it look organic. Nothing I'd want with a paying customer tho.
Trust me, sir.
Even in 2030, it will still keep going. My wish is to let Fujifilm company bring out good lenses for video and good for still too.
My wish is the same
Honestly speaking, sir.
Still freaking 1000euros for a used one even at 2024
That’s crazy! In Canada I can probably get one for 1000 CAD!
@@Iamtongue 😭
@@ajeesh3485 I hate the European pricing! I live here now and I always cry in Canadian dollars doing the conversion 😂
@@Iamtongue is film simulations worth spending all these money, because I can get a sony a6400 new from Amazon with lens for less than this
I won't buy any camera for years to come, not into gadgetmania
Oh
At 1400? nah
Xt5 users bragging about their autofocus. Who's laughing now? 😂
LOL
