Was this worth watching 2 hours? No. If you like tolerant FLs and enabler MLs then this is for you. If you like how the majority of this drama revolves around hiding identities and causing misunderstanding which can easily be solved by revealing said identity, then this might be you cup of tea. The cast was great. Acting was good. For a mini drama, I can't really fault the awkward/untimely use of music as I'm not even sure if this was edited by the drama or by the uploader. Transition from one scene to the other on this one is actually surprisingly seamless. Not much plot hole in between the transitions. Usually for dramas like this, they leave out some relevant info and only go for the main parts without explaining the context. Just the plot is recycled and a downer. This plot is so overused already. Honestly, as an avid fan of chinese novels, there's plenty of treasures out there that could be adapted into dramas like these. Or if IP is the problem, why not adopt some of the plot from those novels and apply them? Seeing as these drama plot kept getting recycled, I dont think IP is much of a problem here lmao The plot drama was so freaking frustrating. I'm appalled by the way the MCs handled each situation. The problem started with the toxic people that could've easily been solved had MCs cut the roots of these wild grasses. What was the point of prolonging their existence. They've been given several warnings not to f*** it up, yet they continue to still do so. And not much punishment was given when this could've been solved easily. I get the FL wants to hide her identity but does it really have to be to the expense of the reputation of the people around her? If hiding your identity comes at the cost of implicating those people you care around you then is it really that worth it? Smh The antagonists weren't even that much of a threat. FL wanted to prove herself without using her dad yet in the end at the wedding, it was her dad that came to the rescue? How ironic. Also felt like the ML here was an enabler even after his wife suffered, he still let those people stay and bother her when there was even a legitimate reason to fire all of them. If he really wanted to protect her lowkey, then why not get one of his subordinates to act as a colleague of FL so someone is there to help her out? This plot is just ridiculous and boring as it makes no sense for a domineering CEO to let other people trample on his wife.
Okay so the idea of testing the waters by hiding your wealth at the start of a new relationship does make sense, but I don't get why the leads are cosplaying poverty for years until divorce. Like years? Really?
Don't bother, if you like a lot of bullshit then this drama is for you. When are we going to get dramas that don't spend 3/4 of the drama constantly bickering and questioning ML and FL status. To date nearly all the dramas I have watched have the 2FL playing being the biggest pain in the arse towards FL ML and also the 2ML and family always challenging the truth. It's such a boring state of affairs that keeps repeating over and over in 95% of these dramas, Boring.!!!
1:06:35 ML the CEO already fired that scum supervisor...but then she still there ...what the heck writer & director doing ?? 🤣😝 Too bad ML not matures , stern & firm enough like FL said she like uncle type 😂...i thought this version can get full 10/10 mark but the middle scene as i mentioned ruin the drama.🥱 In the mid drama used fast forward function to the end as not worthy to watch fully anymore.
