Approximately 24 hours after this guide went live, Zos published the PTS patch notes and bow heavy attacks now DO automatically fire. If this change sticks, that means starting June 6 (same time as Morrowind), bow heavy attacks will auto fire like the other weapons.
I came back after a year of playing and was wondering how on earth I was lifting my finger too much every hard pull. Found the answer here. Thanks for the vid
Ty for the capture, edit, fact checking, voice over, render, and upload. I kno its a ton of work when doing these. So thank you it's very helpful. Game on!
Very helpfull. I've been playing for a few months and my highest toon is CP160. I still know next to nothing about anything past the basics because there's no tutorials or tutorials on the internet are very hard to understand (especially if English isn't your first language). Your tutorials are clear and helpfull :)
+Riraito you are very welcome! In 2 weeks I will post the second half of this guide covering some different things. If you ever have any questions or don't quite understand something please feel free to comment! I can try to explain it in a different way if it was in the video, or just answer if it was not.
Your guides are incredibly useful for noobs like me, and lady gamers are so misrepresented/underrepresented that I'm more than happy to support you! You go girl!
Great video, Miss Bizz. I plan on sharing this video on a gaming site where I serve as forum moderator. It's called the Tamriel Vault (approx. 15k members). It consists of mainly single player TES and Fallout players but a large number have been interested in ESO Morrowind. I think this guide will be very helpful to them.
Wow, that would be great! Thank you very much. You may also want to check out part 2 (just released yesterday) as I cover synergies, major/minor buffs etc in that one.
I just posted your second video. I am already getting very positive feedback. I've been playing ESO for quite a while, but most of them are fairly new, so your videos are perfect for them. Of course, I've been encouraging them to sub to your channel. :)
Haha. Possibly. There are a few variations of Patriarch on the forums. I don't usually post, though, but read them for info and whatnot. Occasionally I'll pipe in on questions concerning gear, skills, etc.
Hey this Is azuremoonstar from ESO forums. Just wanted to thank you for the link to your youtube, and having watched this, this is a good guide. Easy to understand and straight to the point.
going through your videos now. They are very well done. A big thank you for the info, I'm not used to getting concrete help. In ff14 no matter what level you are, or if you are just starting out anytime you ask questions, its literally replied with "google it" or "watch a video" no links, no suggestions.
Miss Bizz i do have a question, is duel wield + dragon knight viable? I was hoping to play as a dunmer with a mix of fire/duel wield abilities (the stem ones) or do the stem base fire skills don't work off the race bonus of increased fire damage for dunmer, or did stuff get changed. I tried eso last summer for 5 days. I'm not used to this style of MMo in a LONG time, eso is built similar to ff11 from 2002-2009 (before abbysea)
+Azura Moonstar the stamina version of DK skills do poison damage, not fire. You are best off sticking to one or the other. Will you be able to do content as a hybrid? Yes. But once you get to high end content you may find you aren't adding to the group as much as you could be I generally play around doing funny stuff like hybrids when I'm questing, but switch to my straight Magicka role when doing group content
Oh, not doing a hybrid I was wondering if it was still fire based. If not no biggy. I was just curious. Was trying to pick a weapon/class combo that fit dunmer the best to get the most outa the race stats. that and In elder scrolls I loved duel wielding. :)
it is really strange that the tutorial in 2022 doesn’t explain these necessary features although thank you miss this vid is still useful till this day it really helped me out as a new player may the lord of the world protect you 🙏
Thank you very much for this video. I never even noticed the red outline so this video was wonderful just for that. As a caster I've been wondering why everyone has been dominating the crap out of me in pvp.
Thanks for the worthwhile information even 3yrs old. I'm level 45 and now I find that there are light and medium attacks! I only thought there was light and heavy. One question that I have not seen brought up and haven't found any info on. There is sometimes a red bow icon at the bottom left of the available attacks bar. I thought it may mean I'm effected by poison or something but don't seem to find the details on my character page. Anyone have an explanation of this icon?
+Márk N. Mészáros did you end up seeing my comment on how they changed bows after I made the guide? Hehe. The block part is working but you probably have a passive that procs when blocking... And whatever THAT effect is.. is what the enemy is immune to.

Thats the final death stroke for my nightblade

This is an excellent, straight to the point, clear and concise guide. The extra bonus is no one is subjected to a creators musical taste! 5 STARS!
Thank you! I try to use in game music whenever I make game guides.. it just seems to make most sense :P
I just watched an hour of tanking guides and this is the first video to teach bashing and the red and yellow lines. Thank you!
this is perfect to try and get my Dad into the game (he was annoyed because he didn't understand combat)Thank you so much!

Wanted to go thru the back catalog and see these early guides and such. Fun stuff, quality information :)
Just start playing ESO on PS4 and I'm loving the game. Thanks for the guide and looking forward for part 2 :)
I just want to thank you for this. So basic but I learned a lot.
Thanks for this. I’m returning after not playing for years and totally forgot the tutorial.

Super helpful! New player and this was awesome, looking forward to your others! Subbed!
Two years later you helped quite a bit, I remember the combat being hard but dang.
The first thing we're going to talk about is the gorgeous water reflection and the beautiful spot meant for meditation.
omg thank you for explaining what the green feet means. I asked in chat and people just made jokes about it. XD
Been play for ages now and I didn’t know half of this, this was super helpful! Wish they explained this a bit better in game though.
Adding the tips to the level up is helpful if people read them, but yeah it's hard to pick the line of how much info to give people
thanks i appreciate the extra info vids just started playing this game not too long ago :3
Awesome! Glad they help
Very useful, clear and concise, thanks! Keep it up :)
Always good information videos.
Most excellent.
Great video!
My kids like to watch me play and we always wondered what that green glow on my feet was... thanks, MB! :)
#argonian4life
Any idea why my new orc DK tank cannot block heavy attack? I block the heavy attack, and the game says "target is immune". What the heck?
+Márk N. Mészáros did you end up seeing my comment on how they changed bows after I made the guide? Hehe. The block part is working but you probably have a passive that procs when blocking... And whatever THAT effect is.. is what the enemy is immune to.
I had no idea this game's combat had depth like that. Does the combat stay fun after playing for a long time?
It sure does!
hey how does your fire staff throw 2 fireballs without charging?
+Lunatic Psyker one time it did that and it shouldn't of lol
Oh okie lol
wheres part 2
Geez I'm level 48 n you said a few things I didn't know. Lol. There is so much to this game sometimes you just fight to stay alive.
Vary helpful. Thanks
I call the dodge green feet green fuzzy slippers. ^^
Part 2?
+Jared Jorgensen coming Sunday :)
2.00 - "Stopppp!" :D
never heard of medium attack

Skyrum...
Thanks, this video made me decide to not buy ESO, i really hate MMOs
Eso is a ok game but for consoles it's a clunky abomination...
the combat is dull and mind-numbing.
