Huge fan of this. Next time I'd love to see if they can get one of my all time favorite trades: December 11, 2014 the Dodgers send Miggy Ro, Dan Haren and Dee Strange-Gordon to the Marlins for Andrew Heaney, Kiké Hernandez, Austin Barnes and Chris Hatcher.
Next video needs to ask what pitcher the reds sent to the dodgers with Josiah gray and jeter downs for Yasiel Puig, Alex Wood, Matt Kemp, and Kyle Farmer. Or literally ask about anybody in that obscure trade.
Really enjoyed this video, fun fact about the Trea Turner trade, it actually resulted in a rule change because the Padres found a loophole to the rule where you can’t trade player for a full year after drafting them. Trea Turner was listed as a PTBNL originally since the trade occurred before he had been in the organization for a year. After that year was up it was “revealed”, even though it was well known to the public as a poorly kept secret, that Trea Turner was the PTBNL. Now for a player to be named later you have to have been eligible to be traded at the time of the trade.
One additional correction too, the Turner trade happened in the offseason, nowadays you can trade newly drafted players the day after the World Series of their draft year ends, where you used to have to wait a full year.
I definitely prefer the more recent trades haha. I think the 2000s/2010s ones are great because they’re long enough ago that they’re a bit harder to recall, but not so long ago that I just would be completely stumped hahaha
That Zack Greinke trade won the Royals their WS. Odorizzi would then be traded to the Rays alongside Myers, Montgomery, and Leonard for James Shields and a little starting pitcher turned all-star reliever Wade Davis.
As a Mariners fan I am very offended that you only put Kelenic into that Mariners-Mets trade. Like, not gonna list Jay Bruce and another somewhat anticipated prospect in Justin Dunn? I understand not mentioning Swarzak or the last guy that will go unmentioned but still. Can't name a single missing player when your list of the trade is missing 5 people.
This was enjoyable. Both BBD and Jake are knowledgeable and actually trying to perform well. Good vibes. 👍
YUP! Incredible vibes

LOVE this concept. I'm awful at it, but I LOVE the concept.
BBD is such an intimidating competitor on here.
personally, i thought the last question was one of the easier ones
"I before E, except after C"
Weird but true ;)
or when sounding like "a" as in neighbor and weigh
Unless it's my last name lol
except for weird words like weird
@@Rhezz12What about in the sentence "Jim Nabors is way cool"?
Every "Recieves" took a month off my life

BBD staring daggers into the camera the entire time
This is awesome, need more of these!
Good stuff. Flipping through History profiles in OOTP really helps here!
As a nationals fan i immediately knew it was trea
Congrats, BBD! This was a fun one, although can we use some earlier trades? Like maybe some in the 90s?

God why did you have to remind me of the Shelby Miller trade. We traded Ender Inciarte who also hit 300 that year.
As a Braves fan, I was about to buy a Miller jersey because I thought he was awesome and then he got sent packing.
last one was a good one!
Proud of myself for getting that Inciarte one correct immediately when they both struggled. I did better at this than I expected.
Pausing it 45 seconds in to give it a thumbs up already because Jolly’s explanation of the rules are so clean and perfect.
Knew that Rizzo one immediately! Fun trade.
Fantastic game
4:50 is Aaron Blair erasure
Alasno Sorianano 😆
I kept screaming inciarte and Turner at my phone lmao

Not to mention Cain and Escobar winning ALCS MVP in 2014 and 2015 respectively!
Is "recieves" intentional?
Yikes I forgot Glasnow was part of the archer deal. Meadows alone was a win for rays
yeah when i remembered they gave up those 3 for him i was shocked in hindsight lol
LOVE me some Ender Inciarte
*receives
Hey Jolly, why you always hosting?!
I like the amount of brewers in this vid
I got both prince and Ian and got goosebumps alone in my house
Why is jolly always hosting though, he should be PLAYIN'!
This video just shows who watches Jolly’s videos lol
Why did you have to remind me of the Archer trade JOLLY😢
I thought LJ Hoes was in the Hader trade
0 hoes lmao
Still can’t get over that archer trade. Disgusting.

Anyone else have egg on their face when Justin Upton wasn't the answer 🥴
was receives spelled wrong the whole vid? haha
The receives was upsetting me the whole video
Recieve or receive? 🤔
fire the grammar editor lol
Can we do this with more recent trades?
No, so get to know your history pal smh 🤦🏽♂️
I'm disappointed they took so long to get Inciarte, damn AL fans smh
😂 me too
Nah fr. He went on to win 3 gold gloves and was part of the two division winning teams in 2018 and 2019
1 day people.
