A name to reckon with in the field of medical science, Dr. Peter has been serving the Lord and society as Director of Christian Medical College, Vellore. Ever since he returned from Australia in 1998, he joined CMC and has been climbing the ranks with his devoted service to the mission hospital, a purpose he believes in. He has won several accolades for his excellence in his field, including the Thomas Dina Prize in Physiology, the Abhayankar Memorial Prize in Physiology, the Prof. Gault Prize in Pathology, the Paul Harrison Prize in Neurology, the SC Devadatta Prize in Biochemistry, the Matt Spence and Felicity Hawker medals, and the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine Presidential citation in 2017, among others.
