美しく感動的なビデオをありがとうございました。… lol 🤭 no, don’t jump to any conclusions, I used a translation app! I do so want to thank you for this specific video, as I have been searching everywhere for more information and ideas to create the most « imperfect » wabi sabi garden. Thanks again.

Very insightful video, thank you. I have always described my shade garden as wabi-sabi and have used many of the elements and design philosophies you discussed. One "trick" I have employed is to intentionally grow trees into and around steel objects such as old steel wheels, plow discs, other agricultural relics, etc. It gives a sense of the passage of time and decay; a melding of the natural and man made environment. Choose fast growing tough species such as maples or poplars, ideally that are already growing wild in the landscape. The effect takes time, but can be very stunning. I suggest utilizing in moderation. For me I do not want to see two such trees from any vantage point. It is for me the sense of age that really gives a "wabi-sabi garden" the correct feeling.

That's a great way to enjoy your garden! I love the idea of mixing man made items with nature and letting the natural aging take its course.
